"It took longer than projected or expected. Reasons for the delays were not indicated. We received periodic updates but detailed info re: the differences in the shop's estimate vs. what the insurance carrier considered were not clearly identified as the work progressed. Also, the interior of the car was very dusty with paint dust when delivered to us; ...more not as clean as we expected. Also, we opted out of the post repair quality survey, as confirmed with the shop employee when we paid for the repairs. Sure enough, we received the survey call at home later that night. A communication miscue but symbolic of our overall experience with this shop."

"Overall, the work was successful. The price seemed reasonable and response to my original request was rapid. The only problems I have were with the way they completed the work. When I went to pick up the car, it hadn't been cleaned, which I understood to mean they hadn't washed it. They wanted to keep it overnight and clean ...more it up the next day. That was unacceptable to me since I needed the car and they had had it for an entire day. However, when I took it home and looked at things the next day in the daylight, I found that in fact they had left it kind of messy. A small lever used to open the gas tank cover was partially marred and some of its plastic covering was broken off. The floor area was dirty and other areas under the dashboard were dirtier than they had been. The passenger's seat also had dirt on it. Further, the driver's seat was not re-installed in a tight manner and I had a different mechanic tighten that up. Although the work accomplished its purpose, I feel that they could have done it more cleanly and should have completed the work in time to do a quality professional job before I picked it up. The price was right and the job got done, but I think next time I'll check other shops before I choose to use
