was very good, helpful and knowledgeable. The owner was great in scheduling, especially around the Thanksgiving holiday. The installer installed" everything really well. I would give them all high

"I walked in and was greeted enthusiastically. I requested a knife
be put on a knife that was made by my 11 year old son. They immediately" started and was completed within minutes. I went to pay for it and they were going to charge me 3.00, I pulled out my card to pay and he stated a $5 minimum charge, so they will just get me next time! Bottom line, they sharpened my knife for free and gained a customer for life! Great, friendly, courteous, awesome customer service.

He did what he promised to do. The knives were made of high carbon, stainless steel with several different alloys. One of the kitchen knives was a "right hand" knife.... The grinding and polishing of the blade

was on one side of the blade which enabled the user to cut
much thinner and even slices. One blade was made of D-2, tool steel, also a stainless steel, and he identified this alloy correctly. One knife was a Damascus, high carbon/stainless steel alloy.

They turned out perfect! I was really impressed with the way they packaged them, when I picked them up. They are so sharp, they are like brand new. The guy was very nice. I dropped them off on a Tuesday and they were ready on Thursday. He also did my scissors for me.

I dropped them off on 12/16 and requested the job be finished by Christmas. They were finished the evening I'd dropped them off.
Yes, I'd use them again in a heart beat.
This surely works better than sending them to Florida.

I had two knives that were in need of repair. The first was a tanto styled blade with a minor piece of the tip broken off, the other was a spear-point blade that I had ruined trying to sharpen myself. I Emailed him and he was very pleasant. He told me the problems were easy enough to fix, so he would only charge me the standard sharpening fee to fix them, which is $5 each.

I was pretty surprised by the price because the first Knife repair/sharpener shop I emailed had given my a price that was double what I paid for my knives, about $100-150 each and the actual price would be determined after the work was completed because of how damaged my knives supposedly were, so I looked elsewhere and found this guy,

He does local work but also takes in Mail-in work and is pretty flexible in how you pay him, I sent his payment in cash along with my knives, all in one box. Even though, he is in

and I'm in Illinois, I got my knives back within less than a week and they had edges that were better and sharper than what I had bought them with and they both had mirror edges.

He seems like he genuinely cares deeply about his work and has a passion for it. He was very kind and professional to me before, during, and after the work was done for me. He was even kind enough to send me tips on keeping the edges maintained. I will definitely give this guy some repeat business.

I had a rush job and the owner was very accommodating with my last minute request. Knives came back nice and sharp. Very reasonable price. Would definitely use this service again.
- Patricia S.

The proprietor was between tasks, and sharpened my knife while I waited. I was only on the premises for 10 minutes, and the knife is now in better shape and sharper than I would have ever believed. This business is fantastic, economical, and even if I had had to leave the knife for a week, I now know that this is one of the best deals I've ever had. You can't go wrong with Quality S S.
