"My house is half brick, half vinyl siding; was told they "spot clean brick" and can do vinyl siding. So I said yes. I had had a vine growing on the siding; it left

. The man who came called and did say he couldnt get the small ends of where the vines had attached and did I want him to continue. I chose yes, since that vine problem was only on 1 side of house. I ask about spot cleaning the brick area; he said he would. When I returned home, it looked like nothing had been done. The only sign of pressure washing was a mass of "guck" (?grass, leaves?) stuck to windows. When I wrote to complain about this, the secretary or whoever answers the phone said "that's what happens when you pressure wash". So I had to hose down the windows.
This was the second time I tried this company. The first time (window washing oddly enough)-they never came, never called and in an exchange of at least 5-6 emails, finally told me they "forgot to schedule me".
I was still willing to give them a 3rd try to have my gutters cleaned for a Big Deal of $79; I had total knee surgery and couldnt kneel on the flat roof to access the gutters so I was really counting on them before the cold weather set in.
However, THEY refused my business and told me to get a refund.

"I may be wrong on the approximate cost of service. I had purchased a big deal to get my house pressure washed. After a few conversations with the provider and a few postponements of work. I contacted Angie's list to get my money back, as I got the impression that he was never going to show. Makes me think twice before I purchase any Big Deals, as I think he was overwhelmed by the response.

"I emailed
Pittsburgh Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
to get a quote on gutter cleaning for our house and they quoted a very competitive $175 including flushing the downspouts. They were able to schedule the service for later that week and were very prompt and professional. They ended up adding $25 because they did a lot of extra work pressure washing the deck and walkways that had gotten pretty slippery. We were very pleased with the quality of the service overall and will definitely work with

in the future!

"Called me to say he had a cancellation and can come earlier than scheduled if that was OK with me. This was great since I was on a tight schedule that day.
Did a good job all around. Had me walk around the house when he was finished to be sure I am satisfied with the results. Everything was cleaned up.

"My experience was pretty good, with just a few glitches. Most importantly, the job was untimately done well. Gutters were cleaned and power washing removed the unsightly mold from my house siding. The few glitches were that I had an appointment window 2-4 pm that I scheduled so I could still work half the day. I planned my day around leaving work a little early. I was called at NOON that the guys were half hour from my house. In this case, it wasn't better to be early. I had to rush home and then go back to work after, and this was quite inconvenient when I had a specific appointment time that was not honored. I asked the guys about this and they said they had to hurry and drive to Columbus after my appointment,, but this is something that they would have known in advance and should have called and asked IF it was okay to come 2 hours early.
Also, just a little weird that the power wash equipment is run on gas, and part way through the job, one of the guys asked if I had any gas. Fortunately, we had some for the lawn mower. He had to use my gas, and I thought it was a little unprofessional that they didn't come prepared. If I hadn't had gas, I guess I would have had to wait while they went to the nearest gas station.
Lastly, the guys could use to be a bit more communicative. They had already started washing my house when I got home, before asking if there were problem areas or concerns. I had to specifically ask if I could point out these areas to them when really I thought they would ask upfront. Then afterwards, they cleaned up their things and gave me the bill without offering to walk around the house to see if I was satisfied. They should wait to clean up their equipment until AFTER the customer looks at the work and says they are satisfied. Also, nearly forgot to add that they moved a bunch of patio furniture to wash the house and they didn't bother to put it back. Again, a little professional touch that I expected.

came to our home about three weeks before the jobs to give us an estimate. He brought a crew of three for a full day's work. One man worked on the door after removing it and laying it on a trestle. Another worked on cleaning up the stain in the living room ceiling, then smoothing it over with spackling, and painting it. A third worked on the patio awning and railings and was joined later in the day by the other two when they had finished their work on ceiling and door.

arrived with the men and set them to work. He left to attend to other jobs and came back during the day with supplies and to supervise further. He joined his employee in working on the door. All of the jobs were completed to a very high standard. The workmen wasted no time even when

was not personally present. All were very courteous. My wife and I were very pleased with the result. The living room ceiling repair is 'invisible'. The patio awning is sparkling; the old oak door looks like new.

"I bought an Angie's List Deal for $225 for whole-house pressure washing, but he never showed. He phoned a couple of times over the course of the few months between when I purchased the deal and when the deal expired; he said that he'd come out the next Saturday to do the work, and then he wouldn't show. Both times (maybe there were three, I don't remember), he went on about how he'd had to let somebody go, how he was really busy, he'd bought the business from a friend, and so on. Anyway, I'm out the $225 and haven't made the time to figure out where to get a refund (Angie's List? him?). After this experience, I stopped buying online offers because they just aren't worth the hassle."

"We used the $99 coupon from Angie's List and then paid $167 extra because the coupon covered only the first 400 sq. ft. but it was worth it. Our patio is approximately 1,000 sq. ft and it would have been a monumental task to pressure wash it ourselves. Probably saved about $65 overall by using the coupon. They had to reschedule once because of rain but they completed the job and the patio looks great. Will probably use them again next year for the front walk and patio."

"I would have had to wait about 5 weeks to use the service so I opted to get a refund from Angie's List instead. The people I spoke with on the phone were very polite and courteous."

"The whole job was conducted very professionally. To start with

told us to warn our neighbors about dust and noise that would be caused by the grinding of old mortar. The grinding was indeed very loud but we went out for part of each of those days to escape it! The crews were all very courteous. The final clean-up was excellent.

checked on the progress of the work every day and sometimes came by 2 or 3 times a day.
The result looks great! We're very happy with it. The final cost of $7,800 included a 10% discount for senior citizens and and $100 Angies List coupon.
