Plastering Reviews in Pittsburgh

carefully put up plastic to seal off the work areas, worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards. No lingering dust problems, walls were left ready to prime and paint. He did a great job, and I would recommend him highly. But he is kept busy!
I do not recall the exact price he charged, but wasn't alarmed. It was as I recall totally reasonable.

and his crew showed up, gave me a quote on the spot, and completed the work the same day within a couple of hours. The quality of the work was excellent.

Very responsive. Came and gave an estimate that week and was able to schedule the repair the next. Price seemed reasonable. Work was good. Nice guys. Would use them again in the future.

was on time and very professional. I trusted him in my home and his workers were very respectful. I was given a outline of services on a quote and I got a 5% Angie's List discount. I have already scheduled

Was very prompt in returning my call for an estimate of various minor plaster repairs. Quoted me a price, set up the time for the work, completed the job, cleaned up and I was very pleased. I would recommend him for punctuality, quality and neatness.

Overview: I am extremely happy with the work
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
did on my home. They were quick to set up an appointment, gave me a fair estimate, did a substantial amount of work, finished a rather large job in two days time, and cleaned up the house at the end of each day. I would definitely hire them again in the future.
I placed an ad on craigslist last Wednesday as I needed to make some repairs to my house before putting it on the
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Due to a water leak resulting from the polar vortex, I had some water damage to wood on the exterior of my home and to plaster on the interior.
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
, who is their contact person, emailed me quickly and set up a time for me that was convenient on Friday morning (2 days later). I was a little hesitant at first because they do not have much of a history on Angie's List, but they had good suggestions and I decided to trust them, and am glad I did. (

showed up with three other guys on Monday morning, and did a great job setting up. They sheeted off all areas of the house that they were not working on, laid down paper in the areas where they were working, and started immediately. I gave them a punch list that included pretty much every minor crack in the plaster of the house, and they literally hit everything on and off that list. They only took a break for lunch, and then were back and finished up by about 5pm on Monday evening. Before they left, they took all of the sheeting down, and mopped the floors clean. So even though they were coming back on Wednesday, my wife and I were able to enjoy living in our house (despite it basically being a workzone).
Today (Wednesday), they came back and did a great job doing all the painting, hitting again everything that we agreed on, and they even hit some areas that could use freshening up that I didn't mention (e.g., on walls underneath the windows were our cats like to jump up and sit). At the end of the day,
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
noticed some cracked paint on the exterior of the house and touched that up for me as well for a reasonable price.
In short, they were nice guys, very professional, worked quickly, and did more than I asked them to do. The house looks great, and I couldn't be more happy with the work they did.

Went very well, contractor was very professional and punctual. Very short notice was given to

that we needed a contractor and he met our demands no problem. Work was done in a day and the price was not steep at all.

was very responsive to the bid however once the work got started he was not always on the job. I had the bathroom off of the master bedroom renovated. The work site was left a mess on a daily basis, trash, cups and material scraps-full garbage bag left in the bedroom .
He set up the tile cutter in the kitchen however did not cover any of the furniture or cabinets and left my kitchen a huge dusty mess. I pushed the tile cutter to back porch myself to get it out of the kitchen and it took hours to clean up the mess. Even after asking him to cover the furniture he did not. I had some painting done at the same time and he removed the plastic from the furniture to put under the tile cutter however never covered the furniture. His team demonstrated very little regard for being in my home.
The tile was installed nicely however the price quote for the shower tile installation changed, almost doubled once he got into the job from $865 to $1315 - however the size of the shower did not change and I bought all the tiles and the flooring materials, the lights, the ceiling fan and the vanities. He did not measure the correct size of the vanity to the placement of the mirror and outlets and when I went to hang the mirror, it coveredr the electrical outlets. Instead of the outlets being on the side of the vanity, they are over the back of the vanity. Poor job measuring overall - he asked me to buy 135 sq ft of floor tile-I bought 105 and I had 12 sq ft left over. A hole was left in the wall and in the ceiling where the wiring was threaded for the ceiling light which means I need to find someone else to finish the job. He threw away the hardware to the shelve units I had. It was his first time installing a heated floor however he threw away the warranty and instructions to program the thermostat.
Very expensive quote to paint-($800) considering the room was tiled halfway with the shower, closet and window taking up at least another third of the walls. I had to remind him to finish the floor and place the threshold otherwise I don't think he would have done it.

This job was very expensive and the attention to detail and professionalism in finishing the job was not there. VERY POOR

I had some painting and drywall work done by
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
last year and he did a nice job. I have a lot more work to do to finish the renovation and there is no way I could consider him. I certainly learned to double check the invoices from a contractor and to be certain not to have them do any work without a price quote prior to starting. I am very disappointed. I would not recommend him.

and his crew did a fabulous job, and I will definitely hire him again. The first drywall firm, prior to contacting
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
, gave me a quote $1,100 more than what
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave. I also got the impression from the first firm that the job was very extensive, and they would have some trouble fitting the work in. When I had
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
visit, he said simply, "No problem, my guys will knock this out in three to four days, and it will look brand new." He was certainly right.
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew went above and beyond. For example, I had cut a rectangular hole the length of the kitchen on the kitchen's ceiling. Please note that the kitchen ceiling was in somewhat poor condition.
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
not only fixed the hole but he gave me a new kitchen ceiling with a beautiful swirl, as he did with the living room and dining room. Every room turned out beautifully.
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a true expert and professional with great skill.
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
will be my go-to drywall/plastering contractor. He really got me out of a jam, and I am overwhelmed by the fantastic results.

Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his team take pride in their work. He is honest, meticulous, and professional. His estimate was more than another one we got. We went with
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
because 1) he took the time to explain how he would protect our floors from damage and contain the huge mess and 2) he took the time to answer all of our work-related questions unrushed and upfront, before the work - and throughout the process. The insulation job was a huge mess and required working in small spaces with multiple types of insulation. The plaster work was more limited and turned out beautifully. We would enthusiastically hire
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his team for future plaster and insulation work. He is a pleasure to work with. Here?s the list of work
Pittsburgh Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
performed for $3,400: - Remove caved in ceiling on the third floor and replace and plaster the damaged area - Plaster around the sides, top, and bottom of two chimneys (but not over the exposed brick) on the third floor so it's flush with the wall and baseboard - Plaster a small crack below the window on the second floor - Create two holes into the third floor attic space (in addition to the two already there), patch and plaster two of the four holes and create insulated access doors for the two holes inside the closets (materials don't have to be fancy, but there should be a latch and seal) - Insulate the walls on the third floor (two walls, one facing the front of the house and one facing the rear (the two side walls have no attic space) Insulate the attic space floor over the second floor ceiling in the rear of the house - Insulate the flat rectangular crawl space in the top of the attic, over both third floor rooms - Insulate the small spaces on both slants of the ceiling with a reflective foil. Protect and cover the floors and clean up and remove from our property all supplies and debris
