"I was so frustrated because of a problem with existing granite in my home. I called the people who had installed it for the previous owner and am still waiting (3 days) but I found

and Granite on Angie's List and called.

was VERY HELPFUL. She took time to help me think through possible solutions and asked me to email photos of the granite (I was hoping to match it if this piece couldn't be fixed). I did call a few other granite companies, but these folks were BY FAR THE BEST with customer service response! My contractor was able to fix the problem with the existing slab, but when it is time to replace the granite that I don't like in our main bathroom I will definately be calling CUSTOM GRANITE AND MARBLE.

"We bought a beautiful 1920s home with a gutted Master Bathroom and no water pressure to fill a tub and flush the toilet.

worked with us to design a luxurious bathroom befitting of our unique barnyard chic style. We love 3-form material and their carpenter build our Jacuzzi siding and cabinets using the material. We installed heated floors and marble countertops. However, before that we needed to install new plumbing to make our waterfall showerhead feel like the Amazon versus a cry baby.

"Overall the folks at
Pittsburgh Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
were nice to work with and their fabrication and installation costs were attractive. That said however they did not actually Template the job as we understood the process. That is they only came and recorded rough measurements of the area. They did not actually build templates. This

to problems with the fit of the tops when installed. Our home is not new construction. It is an older home with plaster walls. There are very few square corners and precisely plumb walls. The tops were fabricated to square, so that there are uneven gaps along the walls, and noticeably uneven overhangs over the outer edges of the cabinets. The counters themselves are pretty, but the uneven fit takes away from the overall look. Also, the installers installed our new undercount sink. After they left we found 2 problems with the installation. First they only used 5 of the 8 brackets provided by and recommended by the manufacturer (

customer service was excellent! Since they did everything in shop we didn't have to wait long like other places we called, we got our template on 4/12 and they installed the granite on 4/25! They were very helpful through the whole process with everything from choosing the granite to the install of it. They were especially helpful when it came to the sink that my wife wanted. At first they didn't think the double bowl would fit but in the end they made it work and we are very happy with the end result!

"The guys did a good job. For the amount that we paid, they really spent quite a chunk of time at the house, working on the project. I felt comfortable with the crew that came to the home, which was important because both me and my husband work full-time outside the home and I could leave the key and some coffee and knew that they'd hammer it out all day.
As part of the job, the crew demolished the existing bathroom, i.e., ceramic tile, toilet, bathtub, vanity and medicine cabinet. Next, they discovered water damage in the sub-flooring and alerted me to the need to replaced it before tiling with stone. We selected the tub, toilet, stone, vanity, granite countertop, and all fixtures. They installed all of the foregoing items and painted the bathroom.
We had a slight hiccup in the timeline for the project when J&B advised that the guys discovered that the vendor had broken the granite countertop when they went to pick it up from their backroom storage. Although it delayed the project by 3 weeks, it wasn't J&B's fault. As soon as the granite countertop came in, however, J&B completed the install within 48 hours.
Once it got down to the detail work, I felt comfortable asking questions and pointing out areas that may need a touch up here and there after painting as well as concerns that I had.

was particularly good with the tile work, shower door install, and vanity/countertop install - clean lines/workmanship. Because home improvement is not my baileywick, I found the guys easy to work with and receptive to what were probably pretty basic plumbing and other questions on site.
As with all contract work - particularly where the home owner purchases the materials - it is important to communicate with the guys on the ground when they get on site so they know exactly where you want the fixtures, can answer your questions, and address other needs.

"It took us a few months to finalize what we wanted to do in our kitchen. All of our emails were responded to within a day or two. Everyone we spoke to was very pleasant from start to finish. Every time we made a change to the plan, new renderings were sent to us and we were able to get a very thorough cost breakdown for everything that we were changing....more /> Once work started, it was a very quick demo. After the demo was completed, it seemed there was some backup in jobs and the quoted time for the job to be completed in went over (from a quoted 2 weeks to over 2 months). Not enough materials were ordered and we had to place later orders several times to just get the materials we needed. Additionally, some cabinets were damaged and needed to be re-ordered. We rolled with the
Pittsburgh Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
because we were happy with what we were seeing.
After the work was finally done, we were very happy with the results. Everything looked gorgeous and was working well.
After a few months though, the plumbing that was redone under our sink started to leak and got under the new floors and was dripping down into our basement. This took 2 trips out and more than a week to resolve. There are still random leaks under there so we have to keep a bucket under the trap at all times to avoid further water issues.
Aside from the plumbing issues, we are very satisfied with the services provided. The workers were fabulous and we felt very comfortable with them in our house even when we weren't home.

"We had a great experience at
Pittsburgh Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
. They were very professional and nice. They have the best selection on granite. They were recommended by our granite fabricator " Quality granite outlet" to pick two slabs from them to fabricate our countertop. Really happy with our purchase. Our kitchen countertop looks very nice."

"They couldn't have done anything better. They were great. They came out and measured everything. We were able to go the store and pick out the actual pieces of granite. It took two pieces. Once they made the template, we went back and helped pick out the placement of the templates on the granite itself. When they came to put in the counter, it worked perfectly. We had a back splash put in all around the whole area, except for one area. After they left we changed our mind and wanted the back splash in that area as well. They came right back and put the back splash in that area, no problem. I would definitely use them again in the future."

"I paid $1,100 for the job. The service and the countertops were excellent. I really loved the color and I loved the price. They were a little more expensive than another company, but I got beautiful countertops from this company. I actually fixed the countertops myself since it is very expensive to get the granite countertops installed. I saved the cost of installation and I am very happy with it. I would absolutely use them again in the future."

"After interviewing several contractors, big and small, we chose
Pittsburgh Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
because he had the best, realistic ideas for our kitchen remodel. He was neat, punctual and paid attention to details. Honest to a fault, he made sure we were aware of any difficulties and also showed us ways to get the best value for the money we were spending. Our beautiful kitchen was finished in less than six weeks."
