"Very well - the person spent a lot of time thoroughly checking the alarm system and fixing some things that were wrong with it. He also went over the alarm system in detail to make sure that I knew how to work it before he left."

"It's nice that they are a full service alarm company. We have smoke detectors installed along with the regular alarm system that they watch. They were recommended by the home builder and have been very good for us so far."

"We contracted with Guardian while our house was undergoing a complete gut renovation based on representations from the salesman. We also added our second house at the same time. Although I'm a lawyer, I signed their contract without reading it. The contract includes two legal-sized pages of small print. Nearly all the provisions protect Guardian, shift risks the customer cannot control to the customer and tie the customer's hands. We now have to keep paying Guardian for the house we don't own any more. If Guardian causes damage because of its own negligence, its liability is limited to $1,000. If somebody else sues Guardian in connection with its system or services at your house, YOU have to pay the claim AND Guardian's attorneys fees. If Guardian sues you, you have to pay its collection costs. Guardians says its "critical" that you give it at least 30 days written notice before the termination date of the contract in order to actually terminate. Read the contract."
