, the Office Manager graciously introduced me to the Office. The hearing aid which is five years old was not functioning properly. In a" few minutes she analyzed the hearing aid and determined that the wire from the hearing aid to the inside fitting was broken and that could easily and inexpensively be repaired. It was repaired within a few minutes. Then, the hearing aid was tested in my ear and found not very helpful. I had my audiogram with me, and Hull reviewed it and we asked whether that hearing aid had the capability to improve my hearing.
did research on the make and model and looked at the capabilities of the device on line and determined that the power was sufficient but the added volume could be gained with a new type of wire from the device to the portion that fits inside my ear. I asked if the setting were appropriate for my hearing deficiency based on my audiogram, and was advised that it would take some time to assure that all the setting were appropriate. I asked her to check and reset the settings as appropriate. This was done. Eureaka!! ,for the first time in five years and after having gone to another provider numerous times, I can now hear despite being diagnosed with a profound hearing loss.
was instrumental in managing this process to a quite successful conclusion. The charges were totally reasonable and included three follow up visits, if necessary.

"I was examined and given hearing aids and it is
. I got the hearing aid in
of 3rd, last year. My experience with" this doctor has been excellent. He is an excellent doctor. He was very nice and I was a little nervous about going in. I have been having this hearing problem for a while and I finally decided to go and do something about it. I chose him off of Angie's List. When I went in, I was a little apprehensive and nervous but he was so nice and very gentle and very mild mannered. He explained everything to me and he let me put in a sample hearing aid so I would know what it would feel like. He was just very, very good, very, very kind and considerate. I have been back to him a couple of times and he is always so nice. He just sits and talks to you, you tell them why you are there and everything. He is very good. I would recommend him to anybody. They were very good about helping me get my insurance that would help pay for the hearing aids, they were very good about doing that. I was just in last week and then I will go back in 3 months and he double checks everything.

Hearing Aid Service reviews in Pittsburgh

I just find somebody and I go to them. She’s close and that’s number one. She is really good and decent. She knows what she’s doing and I’ve been to some who
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
’t. She’s very knowledgeable and very thorough, but she doesn’t act like so many typical medical people, and I like that about her. She acts like a person and she works with me. She will do anything for me. I wouldn’t go to anybody who didn’t have the top most rating across the board.

They the best hearing aids that I had, but I am still having problems because they are 5 years old. I am satisfied with them. They are very friendly and everything. They are very pleasant to work with, and very helpful. They are nice people to work with. They are very attentive, if you have any problems, they have no problem checking you or anything. I am very satisfied with them.

I repeatedly informed the "service" person that there was a problem. That the normal sound the device made when first turned on was significantly reduced from what it was when I walked in.

This was constantly refuted by the service tech every time I said it was wrong. She insisted that the
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
of the on/off switch was better than when I walked in. This was effectively calling me a liar. I finally got fed up with arguing and got up and left. Up to this point I had been very satisfied with my interaction with Family Hearing, To say that my experience from this past Monday disappointing would be something of an understatement. My right hearing aid is still not working as I expect it to and think I am going to have find some place to have it serviced.

The new hearing aids have helped me communicate with my customers better as well as my home environment. What impressed me about
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
is he is very professional and very good with the customers. At his office I noticed that he has done a lot of charity work overseas for the needy. That tells me a lot about his character . ...More /> I went to different hearing specialist before going to The

and it was not a pleasant experience like this was.

I called and spoke to
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
. He's a true cheerleader and very helpful. I made an appointment and joined

when I got there. Then I went to see
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
, my tech, who was terrific. There are two kiosks onsite, which become sound proof. She ran tests to make sure she would be able to calibrate my hearing aids correctly. (I already knew I needed hearing aids, so I didn't need a preliminary appointment with an audiologist to make sure -- something other folks might need to do first to make sure their hearing loss isn't part of a different issue.) I selected the latest and greatest ReSound hearing aids. ReSound is also the

"house brand." I bought every single accessory and the cost, including tax, was $2000. Amazing. AND because I elected to sign up for an AmEx credit card and charge my hearing aids on it, I have six months at no interest while I move heaven and earth to pay them off. As an older person, I am grateful that
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
provides this remarkable benefit. My hearing aids will be ready for me to pick up in two weeks. I feel confident that they will be fabulous and that the staff at
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
will make sure they are perfect. I chose the
Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
store because it's easy to get to from where I live and there's lots of free parking. I'm sure the Lincoln Park store is great, too.

Problem came after I left. I was told prescription would be called in immediately. Six calls and 26 hours later I got it. Could not get human on phone and they did not return calls as promised. Doctor and nurse were fine - staff imcompetent !
- joe S.

The advertisement asked for x number of people with hearing problems. That wasn't true. They would take anybody. I had a hearing test & the told them man I had trouble hearing on the phone, especially. He was a fast talker. He took impressions & fitted me with hearing aids, which I was expected to buy. I did not like them. When I used them on the phone I had to hold the phone away from my ear. The price was expensive. When I gave them back to him his attitude was not friendly. Afterward I received a letter telling me the price had reduced about $1,000.00 if I was interested.

I have been using

Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Stores Provider Name Locked
provided me with the best aids for my hearing loss and they were excellent. They are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend them.
