ruined one of my silk & cotton shirts, and wouldn?t take responsibility for doing so. This was a fairly high-end shirt. I?ve had five (now 4) of them for about a year. When I took it out of the plastic bag last week I noticed that both cuffs had been partially ripped from the sleeves. I returned it to the cleaners where I was told that the manager would look at it on Monday and then call me. On Monday I got a call from an employee who told me the manager said that the shirt was just old and there was nothing she could do. I told the employee that I had 4 more of the shirts and they were just fine. She said if that was the case that I should bring them in for the manager to see. I said I would do so the following Saturday and hung up. Within a couple of minutes I got another call from the same employee who said that the manager said there was still nothing she could do, that the shirt was defective and that I should return it to where I bought it. I told the employee that we were through with ?My Cleaners?, and she said she would pass that on, and added that she was just the ?middle-man?. The fact that I have other shirts of the same size, fabric, and brand that have been cleaned with no problem makes me think that there might have been a problem with the process. It would have been professional for the Manager to at least look at the other shirts and to speak to me in person rather than through an intermediary."

"These items were used only once, and I dropped them off at Regency on my way to work. When I went to retrieve the tablecloth and napkins, they were extremely wrinkled. The person at the counter claimed that it was my fault, since I did not pick them up in a timely manner. I asked them to re-do, and, with much complaining and eye-rolling, they agreed. When the items came back (I had my husband pick them up right away so that Regency could not claim that they were wrinkled by being there too long), they looked exactly the same, as if nothing at all had been done to correct the problem. I called to say that I was still unhappy, and was now told that the problem was that the fabric was linen, the person said that she did not care about exploring any further to find a solution and did not care if I ever did business with them again. I asked for a refund, and was denied one. Of course I am extremely unhappy, since I will now have to spend additional money to have them done elsewhere."

"You can't beat the convenience. Every Tuesday and Friday, Mikey (the driver) stops by and picks up our dirty clothes and drops of the clothes they dry cleaned. You cannot beat the convenience!!! Why drive to the dry cleaners, wait in line for your turn, pay, then drive home?? We leave our bag on the front porch. You don't even have to be home! What they pick up on Tuesday, they return on Friday. What they pick up on Friday, they return on Tuesday. The driver is very friendly. We have used them for about five years or so."
