Pittsburgh Bicycle Repair Reviews

"We were in the store for approximately 45 minutes. After about 10 minutes someone approached up to ask if we needed help. We declined since we were still looking at the bike and comparing components and prices on the bikes. About 20 minutes into our arrival, we had to go back downstairs and talk to someone at the

. We were asking about women's bikes, and he provided up with some pricing and info. We agreed that we would meet upstairs to look further at the bikes. In the meantime, other customers arrived that appeared to be known to the sales staff and began to take their time. There were only 2 people in the store to assist customers and answer the phone. When I approached the other staff member to request a test ride. He said he was on the phone and never came back to me. Little did they know that we were actually looking for 2 mountain bikes because they did not spend sufficient time with us to find out. We will be shopping elsewhere for our bikes."

tuned my bike and was done ahead of time. He called me when it was completed. It was reasonably price he and he didn't try to get more money out of me with unnecessary service. He also custom builds bicycles."
"These folks are clearly engaged with bikes. I haven't bought a bike for over 20 years and their friendly, yet matter of fact style put me at ease. Also, there was no "hard sell"."
"I had a very old 10 speed bike that hadn't been used in years. I brought it to

's on saturday and it was ready late monday afternoon. It was clean and he fixed everything without replacing anything. It works better than ever. The mechanic was very helpful and polite as was the representative that was there when I picked it up."
"I appreciated his forthrightness in general, especially in telling me that the one bike wasn't worth repairing. He also pointed me toward the local goodwill, where he'd seen better bikes for $10 which would be worth repairing. He was also blunt in his assessment of the problems I'd likely have with the 3-speed in the future. Note: I gave them an ''a'' on professionalism because I was treated courteously and fairly, but this place is *not* a pretty, glossy bike shop. It's a tiny, grubby, greasy shop that barely looks like a going concern from the outside, but I'd definitely go back, and judging by the number of other customers, I'm not the only one."
"Very good variety of products. Helpful staff. Store located on highway and was easily found. Ample parking."
