"I called Mr. when he was out of town. His answering message told me that he would return my call when he returned -- and he did so promptly. We made the earliest possible appointment -- and that was on a Sunday! He arrived promptly, was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repair. His price was more than fair. I will certainly use his services again if needed and recommend him very highly to anyone who needs to have a washer or dryer repaired."

"The company made it clear that a service call even if just for a diagnosis would cost $129 (Quite steep I think). So by the time the technician quoted us $320 for the whole job we realized that we were deciding really on whether to spend $150 since $129 was already accounted for.
The technician was very professional. He got the job done. He will not any charm or charisma award but he was indeed civil and polite and a pleasure to work with. He came as promised and worked well."

" came out at the first time convenient for each of us. (He only does this in the evenings.) He was prompt and was very efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem quickly, had the part in his truck and replaced it. The price above is for both parts and labor (and travel!)
I highly recommend him and would happily use his services again if the need arises. (Though he did mention he doesn't work on front-loading washing machines, so it will have to be another dryer issue...)"

"They turned out to be great support for me. They came on time, gave me an estimate, completed the job timely and wrapped it all up without a lot of fuss."

"We needed help with a newish dishwasher and a very old oven. I called around 9 a.m. Monday morning; Mr. said he'd be out between 2 and 4 that afternoon. He arrived at 2:15, and made a good try at getting the old -- a he said was between 40 and 50 years old -- getting started again. He said we needed a gas valve for that, and that we likely wouldn't find one because of the oven's age. He then had the dishwasher -- a Whirlpool was just out of warranty -- apart and diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes. He had the part -- an overload protector -- in his truck so the fix was easy and quick, and he waited for the dishwasher to successfully begin a cycle before he packed up. The total? $105 plus tax, which I felt was more than reasonable. Next time we have an issue with an appliance, Mr. will be the first guy I call."

"It was a good experience other than having to pitch everything in the freezer. knew right away that a thermostat had quit but had to guess which one since I had turned the fridge off. He was efficient, professional, and solved the problem in good time. This was a 3 or 4 year old Whirlpool. First time I've used in Green Tree, and will definitely call him again if necessary."

"We own property in and had purchased approximately seven large appliances from over the past few years. After a major rain storm, the dryers in both basements sustained water damage. We scheduled the repair, carefully noting the date and time as always to relay to our tenants. When they did not show up, our first floor tenant--an elderly person--called them twice, and then called me to report. When I called 's, the woman insisted our appointment was for the following Monday. We would have understood if she had admitted her mistake and apologized, but she didn't. She was angry that she'd been bothered three times about this. I explained that it was an emergency, and that our 86-year-old tenant could not leave his home to go to a laundry. She screamed at me that broken dryers were not an emergency, and, furthermore, that 86 was not too old to take laundry out. ??? It was the strangest experience I've ever had with a vendor. Naturally, we cancelled the appointment and took our appliance business elsewhere."

"I was surprised when I first called on August 25 and left a message that the answering machine responded, "Steel City Appliance," while I was expecting Appliance. However, I left a message and my wife got a call back within 30 minutes and she was advised that he would be at the house soon. He arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem and went back out to his vehicle and brought in a part, installed it and it solved our problem.
He did excellent work. When he informed us that we got his name from Angie's List, he told us that we were going to receive a 10% discount from .
We were very pleased with the service."

"The repair person came out within the day and at the time we scheduled. He identified the problem quickly and repaired it. The refrigerator has worked fine since."

"We returned from vacation to find our dryer (age 10??) not working properly. It would spin, and the heat would come on, but then the heat would go off within a few minutes. The Auto-dry feature was not working. I called based on his great ratings on Angie's list and to my surprise he was able to come that same evening. I was all set to haul my baskets full of wet vacation clothes to the laundromat, but fixed our problem by replacing a part. As a bonus, it was fascinating to hear him explain how the dryer works, and great to do business with a person so pleasant."
