"He called me a couple of time and he told me about who to contact. How to approach the city and he was very helpful. If I needed somebody to do that kind of work I would contact him. He educated me on the details of how landscaping and concrete work needs to be done."

"I absolutely love them. They are very good. They speak well. They fix the sprinklers for free which is very nice. I had two sprinklers problem which they fixed and did not charge me anything extra for that. They keep my lawn really good. They do a fantastic job. They speak very good English though they are Spanish. They are wonderful. You can tell them what you need and you no problem at all. I think they could be a little more cheaper in price. "

"UPDATE: After reviewing
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List I was contacted by the company and they came out at no charge to replace the dead shrubs with new ones, remove the plastic, move the drip lines so the tree would get the water it needed, and plant a new tree as well. With the recent heavy rains it appears that the Sumac just might make it after all. I appreciate
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
's willingness to correct the problems I encountered. Original Post: At the time
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
did my landscaping I was pleased because he was easy and pleasant to work with and it was so ridiculously cheap compared to some of the other bids I had received. I did have to go with him to the nursery to pick out healthy plants because most of the ones he initially brought to my house were in horrible shape, but that was really my only gripe. The price included a certain number of trees/plants depending on the

size. Now, over a year later, it is clear that I got what I paid for. To

the grass in the front he covered the entire yard with heavy plastic, and now I'm desperately trying to save a giant Sumac tree that has been slowly dying from lack of water. The drip system for the tree was placed right at the base of the

, so none of the roots have been receiving water, and the arborist that I had trim the rest of my property explained to me that the entire root system needs access to air and water. The plastic also nearly killed the jacaranda tree I had them plant, but I so far have managed to save it by moving the gravel he installed and ripping up as much plastic as I could. When I pulled up the plastic I found random gargbage and cardboard that had been used to pin down some volunteers sprouting up from the Sumac. His crew also installed drip lines at the root of some existing pyrocantha on the south side of the house which have all since died. The sprinkler system has worked fine so far except that I recently noticed a leak in one of the heads, and my neighbor's sprinkler guy happened to be next door and came to take a look. He told me that my system was basically the cheapest stuff from Home Depot and that it would all need to be replaced within a year or two. I tried calling and texting

a few months after the fact when I began to notice some problems, but never heard back. My angieslist membership expired so I never wrote a report, but now that I need to find someone to fix these problems my boyfriend and I have rejoined and thought we should share.

"I contacted
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
after their posted hours on a Saturday with the intent of leaving a message. To my surprise someone answered the phone and transferred me to
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
. We made an appointment for him to come to the property the following Monday afternoon.
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
arrived to the appointment right on time and was very professional. He worked up a quote and took the time to answer my questions. We scheduled a time for him to come do the job in a few days. The night before the job was to be performed he called to reschedule by a few hours, and promptly showed up at the new time the next day.
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
brought one helper (didn't catch his name) who cut down the very large dead cactus. Afterward he cleaned up all of the debris.
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
himself worked on the tree. He trimmed back a lot of the outlying branches so now the tree can better support its weight. The center
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
of the tree had been damaged in previous wind storms (splitting) and
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
did his best to remove the damaged areas while still leaving enough shape to the tree that it didn't appear gutted. After the trimming all of the branches were chipped and the debris cleaned up. All in all a very good job and the work was completed for the quoted amount. No bad surprises.

"It took a few weeks to do it all, first the irrigation, a few days later the plants, a few days later some more plants and boulders (waiting while the patio was done) and then a few days later the granite after we got our stucco patched. He has quite a few customers he services regularly so his work for us was not completed all in the same week but it worked out well with scheduling everything else we needed done. For instance, the pavers were put in after we had a good idea of the hardscape but before all the plants and we did some stucco work before the crushed granite was applied. I would definitely call him back! He's a very resourceful, personable and fair contractor."

"
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
came over within hours of my call. He gave me a fair estimate. He and a helper worked for 5+ hours in the back yard performing the duties described. They left my yard in better shape than they arrived, which included raking areas not affected by their work.
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
's second language is English but he gets by OK. He and his staff seem to be the genuine, honest people reflected in other comments on Angie's List."

"
Phoenix Landscapers Provider Name Locked
is very easy to work with, very practical and down to earth. He arrived for the estimate on time and was very knowledgeable about plants and landscaping in general. He had very good suggestions for the yard, and didn't try to see how much he could charge me. His crew arrived promptly, worked very hard and did an excellent job. My yard turned out much nicer than I had expected."

"Overall my experience has been pretty good. We felt like he was kind of expensive but we used someone cheaper we didn't get the results we wanted. He shows up when he says he will be there. We have been satisfied with them."
