We scheduled an appointment to meet
Schnepp at our house for an estimate and ultimately decided to use his company to paint the exterior of our home. Both
and his painting crew (
,
, and
) were professional from start to finish and we are very satisfied with the end result. We had a synthetic stucco finish on our home which presented some challenges, but
was flexible and deducted his paint cost from his estimate so that we could then purchase our own paint (compatible with our surface material), which
then applied. We were also pleased that the crew was responsive to our special requests and paid attention to details along the way.
and his crew were also very friendly, trustworthy, and easy to communicate with. Our only complaint (not a big one) is that regular masking tape (versus blue tape) was used to prep surfaces for painting. On hot summer days like these, this resulted in tape residue (adhesive) being deposited on some of our unpainted surfaces. The crew tried to clean up most of it for us, but we are still finding some residual areas that we are addressing ourselves. All in, a very good experience.

Found them here on Angie's List.
BaZaar never answered my numerous calls (at different hours of the day), and have not called me back after many messages.
Now, after over a week, I feel compelled to share my experience. I have since contracted another company that called me back.

We can't say enough about our positive experience with
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
and Painting!
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
gave us an estimate and was able to start the job the following week, which was very important to us. His amazing crew was always on time, polite, and professional. They left everything very clean each day. We had recently installed new tile throughout the house and new kitchen cabinets. Not one drop of overspray was found anywhere.
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
himself did the drywall retexturing (fixing a recent job we were not happy with) and wallpaper removal (old grass cloth on a wall that went up to a vaulted ceiling). High quality paint was used, and touch up paint was left for us.
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
actually went above and beyond the contracted services and did some extra things at no charge. He is very personable. His #1 goal is to make sure his customers are happy. We are very pleased with how our house looks now! We highly recommend
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
and Painting, and we will use them in the future.

to I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for $1299.00 to paint the exterior of the house. The deal was for exterior painting of up to 1500 square feet of surface for a one or two story house, power washing, caulking, painting, and minor repairs.
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. We did a walk through and I requested they repair stucco on a 2 foot section on the top of the flat roof of the garage and a 2 foot section of drywall ceiling at the front entrance.
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
sent me a quote the next day for $2698.00.The colors I had picked were lighter than the existing and would require an additional primer coat at $674.00, stucco repair at $178.00, ceiling repair at $78.00, replace garage door wood trim at $134.00 and paint patio cover at $335.00. I questioned the extra $335.00 cost for the patio roof and he said it was not part of the deal. I explained the the deal was for 1500 sqft and the house is on the books as only 1068 sqft. He said the deal does not include the patio, only the main house. I agreed to the work and requested the $260.00 upgrade to acrylic paint so I could get a 3 year warranty. The work was scheduled for the following week and the two painters arrived at the scheduled time and began promptly with taping and preparing for power washing and painting. The power washing, caulking, stucco repair, ceiling repair, primer coat and base paint were completed in 1 and a half days. WOW.
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
arrived on day 2 before the painters were completed and I complained about the front porch light having been broken and the painters responded with “not me not me”.
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
agreed to replace the light fixture and requested the remainder of the payment while the painters completed their work. I had to email
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
the following week to remind him of the porch light replacement and a list of complaints from the painting and repair work. He arrived the next day, to replaced the light fixture and we did a walk through with my complaints. He agreed to have the painters return and work on the patio roof and fascia painting. No additional paint was purchased because there was almost a

left over for the wood painting.
Pros: The house looks a lot better with fresh paint. The front porch light was replaced.
Cons: The extra cost for painting the patio roof. Patio door windows were not protected from power washing and I had to wash them after the work was completed. Paint on patio window, paint on patio screen door, paint on driveway cement from painting garage door, paint on plants against the base of the house, paint overspray on ground and grass at the base of the house, blue paint splattered on rocks, blue paint spilled on rocks and tried to cover it up, white paint spilled on Sedona Red Rocks and tried to cover it up. Painters used a piece of wood I had set aside to work on my gate for the stucco repair, didn’t ask me and left it in plain view on the ground by the front entrance when they left.

has been amazing to work with from the moment I contacted her! She came to the house to measure or walls for a quote and emailed the quote within a day or two. Though it cost a little extra to have the bathroom walls textured, it was well worth it!!! She has been in constant contact with me regarding dates for the job and paint colors. She even called me to go over options for a rust/orange wall I wanted! We discussed different color options, and the one we chose is perfect!!!
She and her father completed the painting today and even touched up our base boards in a few places!!! They did an amazing job, and we are extremely happy with the color choices and quality of work!!! I will definitely be using
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
in the future for any painting needs! I have already referred her to a few friends who are looking to have some painting done.
Thanks so much

I am writing this review under protest because Angie's list has repeatedly hounded me for a review. It's been so long ago that I can't even remember when the work was done....so the date is a guess. I have asked and asked and asked and asked and asked the representatives of Angie's List to please remove this request from my file and still after all these years, it continues to show up. Shame on Angie's list........guess what kind of a review I would give Angie's list on their own program site for this kind of customer service and responsiveness?!?!?!?!?

This information is based on what I have seen for myself and on my opinion of what I have seen for myself: The remodel started on March 3, 2014 and everything seemed to go smooth at first with the demo of the old carpet and tile. We wanted them to do the interior painting before the new tile went in. This is where the problems began, because their subcontractors started putting in the floor tile before the painting got finished. Then the subcontractors didn't come back and the tile didn't get finished being put down or get grouted in the Master bathroom and the small Guest Bathroom. The granite fabrication took place, but they damaged one of our oak cabinets putting it in and knocked off several wood corner pieces. We had to finish the interior painting ourselves because the cabinets were getting refinished and we asked them on several occasions to finish it and they didn't show up to do the work. They were late for appointments with us to discuss the projects, once not showing up for a 10:30 a.m. appointment and calling at 12:15 to let us know they were late. The project was taking a lot longer than their original estimate to us of 5-6 weeks. At ten weeks, we noticed that the work was getting sloppy (wall paint splotches on the ceilings, trim work and baseboards) and the doggy door they put in wasn't level, it wasn't framed in, holes could be seen from the inside to the outside as it wasn't insulated, and they cut into the baseboard with jagged cuts to install the doggy door, even though they were asked by us to install the doggy door just above the baseboard. We asked the contractors to come get their tools and released them from the projects on 5/8/2014. We discovered after they were gone that the bathtub they installed was not supported by anything underneath with a space of @4-6 inches of space between the bottom of the acrylic tub and the cement floor. We discovered that there were no p-traps in either the shower plumbing or the bathtub plumbing. We discovered that they had removed the copper plumbing and installed plastic pipes which leaked after a water test in the small guest bathroom. We discovered that the shower
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
they installed was full of large cracks in the cement and the drain wasn't level, but sat up at an angle, as did the
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
itself, with one side higher than the other. We discovered that the Master shower wasn't completely waterproofed. We discovered that the subfloor for the new tile was never cleaned or prepped for the tile, and still had the glue and debris on it from the original tile. All total we paid them $19,500.00 which was supposed to cover all the costs of the remodel with the exception of the glass shower door which would be an additional cost of @ $1000.00. They never finished the painting, or started the backsplash, or installed the stone
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
panels on the fireplace (although they hung the fireplace mantel and caused a crack in the wood of the $500 mantel, which mantel shouldn't have been hung in the first place prior to the stone being installed as we asked them to install stone and then the mantel), or finished the tile and grouting that wasn't completed by the subcontractors they hired, no faucets were ever installed or bathroom sinks, and a toilet remained in the box untouched. They put up two vanity light fixtures in areas that were still unpainted and we had to tape around them in order to finish this painting ourselves. We had to fix the broken wood pieces on our cabinets ourselves, even though we asked them to fix them. They owe us $ 8,178.06 for work paid for but not completed or completed in an unsatisfactory condition that will have to be repaired by someone else. We had to order new tile for the shower at a cost of $ 445.91 after the shower had to be taken back to the studs due to the shower
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
not being level and the waterproofing not being completed. The tile that was installed on this Master shower was not consistent in its grout lines and gaps were showing all over the design. The bottom of the tile design was left uncompleted showing that the waterproofing wasn't done. Untreated wood was used for the shower
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
and wasn't waterproofed. The doggy door repair is costing us $300.00. We had to hire a painting contractor to come in and paint the trim, baseboards, and ceilings that still have paint on them from their sloppy paint job which left paint on all these areas at a cost of $750.00. The tile floors were never cleaned of the haze from the grout from when the subcontractors left, even weeks after they left, and will need to be cleaned at $ .50 per square foot for 1438 sq ft or $ 719.00. When asked for the money back, the contractors told us they didn't have the money, but did give is $1000.00 on May 12, 2014. As of this date 6/6/2014 we haven't received anymore money for work not done or for work not done correctly. We have pictures of all the unsatisfactory work. We have asked them via email and text messages to pay us what they owe us - that is all we want from them. In our opinion they are unprofessional as they allowed trash, including a bathtub and a toilet to sit in the front of our yard, at the
Phoenix Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
, for weeks, even though we asked them on several occasions by phone calls, email and texts to remove the trash. They left an old toilet on our patio for weeks, and it remained there until the day they left, so we had to dispose of it ourselves. In our opinion they treated our home like a trash dump on the inside and out as they left opened food in our home and in the garage to attract bugs. They left their tools on the granite, the new tub, and the new tile with no drop cloths, even though we asked them not to do this. Our home was left incomplete and in dire need of repair when they left and in my opinion I would not hire them again or refer them to anyone needing a remodel.
