"Discovered the main heat pump on my home was no longer functioning after the Oct 5, 2010 hail storm. I contacted of in mid-October for a bid to replace the heat pump. I had used before to install new duct work on another heat pump about 3 years ago during a roof replacement. gave me a bid of $5000 for replacement. The replacement was covered by my insurance carrier. I wrote a check for 50% down and asked him not to move forward with ordering the heat pump until I told him to do so (I wanted to get insurance reimbursement before proceeding). I received funds from the insurance carrier and asked to proceed with the replacement at the beginning of January 2011. At the beginning of March 2011, I attempted to contact asking about the status of the heat pump (I had not heard from him since January). No reply to my email, so I tried again a day later. replied after the second try, indicating that the unit was in town and they would get it installed next week. 2 weeks went by without any word from , so I contacted him again. replied that they would be getting the unit installed at the end of next week. I told him I wanted no more delays, my patience was at an end. Received a call a few days later from 's installer, , who said they would install on April 1, 2011. The heat pump was finally installed on April 1st, after 3 months of trying to get the job done.
Bottom line: price for the new heat pump was great, probably $2000 lower than some of the better known ac/heating companies in the valley. The quality of work was fine. Once got involved, everything went smoothly and on time. The overriding problem, however, is . His communication and responsiveness is lousy. Often it took 2 or 3 emails or phone messages over a couple week period each time to get a reply. I understand that most of these ac/heating companies are overextended because of the hail storm, but that is no excuse for not replying to emails or not returning telephone calls."

"So my day begins, I find this company on Angie's List, and I call them sometime around 9am to fix my AC stat. Surprisingly they were able to schedule an appointment from 6-8pm the same evening. After I got off the phone, they called me back and asked where I heard about them from. I told them Angie's list and they informed me that I could print out a $35 coupon from the site, and I did. So, 6pm rolls around and I'm finally just leaving work. I'm thinking: this is really bad I'm late to the appointment, but the tech hasn't called so maybe he's not done with his/her previous job yet and it won't be so bad that I'm late? He calls me at 6:20 saying I've been here 20 minutes, is everything okay? He sounded really nice so I'm feeling rather guilty about wasting his time. I let him know I was down the street and I would be there in a few minutes, and I was. When I pulled up he was waiting at my door and was incredibly kind and genuine for having had to wait around for 20 minutes. We then went inside and he turned on my AC unit and headed up to the roof. I watched TV for about half an hour and he came down with four items that I could purchase if I wanted to. He explained each item very well in depth. I purchased a new fuse and a starter kit so that the initial power-on sequence didn't pull too much electricity again and blow another fuse. He then went up to the roof again for about another 30 minutes and came back with the bill. I showed him the Angie's List coupon and he applied it immediately with no questions and no problems. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to everyone I know because the service I received was second to none."

"I was very impressed. Jr. showed up on time to examine and give me a quote. As other reviewers have noted, the initial evaluation is conducted by someone who will also be installing your unit, so there's no miscommunication between salesperson and installer. Jr. was very professional and provided an email estimate for me on the same day. Noble wasn't the cheapest quote I received (nor was it the most expensive), but they appeared to be the most professional. Rich Noble arrived at daybreak on install date. Sr and the rest of the crew arrived and replaced both units well before noon. My old units were jury rigged to the roof. Stands were haphazzardly assembled and the ductwork/handlers didn't fit the a/c units. Bottom line, I was wasting a lot of $ every month. Noble manufactured new stands (at the correct ) and married the units up to the ductwork with reducers so there's no leaks. The new units look like they were born on my roof. I was very impressed and highly recommend this crew. Quality of their work is spectacular. Thanks Noble...."

"Beware !! I called for an estimate for annual filter replacement, and was told that I had to (not a recommendation, but HAD to) pay for two service calls to get the filter replaced: one service call for them to come out and measure and look at the filter, and an additional call to do the actual work. In addition, I was told by Brown HVAC that I HAD to accept service inspection charges on my AC unit in order to get the filter replaced on the air handler unit. The company that originally sold me the filter unit called Brown , who then backed away from the multiple trip charges and additional service charges, but why did they try to get me to pay more than I needed to spend in the first place?"

"Start was a little bit slow due to insurance adjusters scheduling. As soon as AMA took over where I left off, the paperwork was expedited and was THRILLED to have new ac on roof before our first 90 degree day. Ironically, the cold spell last Saturday, I also got to use heat pump and it was quiet and worked great. New roof looks awesome and long time much needed exterior paint is beautiful. They didn't try to gauge me on prep or prime, because I did want another color than original paint. All calls were answered promptly, and if they didn't have an answer. They got right back to me with all I asked and more. I will use their services in the future for my remodel and refer my family and friends."

"I had called several company's to obtain an estimate on either repairing my A/C, heating unit after the storm. Most of the company's either didn't respond or gave me a price knowing that the insurance would be paying most of the tab.
I called and he came out almost immediately. He and one of his helpers checked out my unit and confirmed that it could not be repaired because that company was no longer doing business and parts could not be obtained for my unit. gave me a reasonable price to replace my unit and after the insurance company OK'd the work he scheduled the installation of the new unit. He and his crew were very nice. They worked efficiently and the entire job was done in about 3 hours. I would definitely call this company again and will have my unit serviced by this group when needed. They were awesome."

"I obtained 3 quotes for the new system. I decided to go with to replace the downstairs AC split system on my rental property. At the time of installation, the upstairs unit was also going to be serviced (preventative maintenance). Installation went smoothly. My tenants didn't have any complaints. I inspected the work. They cleaned up after themselves very well. However, when I asked for the check list / datasheet for the PM on the upstairs system, one was not provided. In the past, other companies have always provided a datasheet check list when PM was performed. I made several calls to trying to get the information. Technicians finally had to be sent back out to the property for a second time to gather the data. Finally on 3-14-11 I was sent the data, almost two weeks after the service was performed. I was told over the phone, one reason it took so long was that deploys their techs from their house to the job site....I just spent 4k at , IMO, get those techs to make 1 special trip into the office. Also, I had to keep reminding them about getting me the APS rebates forms. I finally received those by mail on 3/16/11. Everytime I spoke with they were always professional and courteous."

"After several expensive visits from larger company - with somewhat more professional LOOKING personnel, who informed me I had coolant leak & could keep topping off coolant but copper core was cracked & entire unit would need replacing . . belatedly called home warranty co. who put me in touch w/Young's for 2nd opinion. Got next-day appointment + called to ask if he could come EARLIER than scheduled. While not most confidence-inspiring appearance (holes at knees, scraggly -esq ( , not ), reeking of cigarettes), was prompt, courteous, and seemed knowledgable. Found NO leak but heating went out within 2 days. Called in evening & came back very next day -Performed thorough leak/pressure tests - still found no leaks, replaced electric relay of some sort within heat pump and system has continued to work fine for almost 6 mos to date. Was knowledgeable, seemed thorough and took time to thoroughly explain what he had found and what he had done. Second trip was at no extra charge. Note that my home warranty service resulted in lower fees than would have otherwise been the case. Appearances count - hence the "B" reluctantly assigned for "Professionalism", but service-wise, I am completely satisfied and would use again. Very much an overall "A"."
