He said the tech would put vinyl trim with seals around the opening to help keep dirt out. He also said that he would throw in upgraded 13 bearing rollers with the order. The tech showed up on time on Friday 4/16 with a work order that only said to install the door. He tried to offer me an upgrade on the bearings. I explained that they were included. He didn't have the lift assembly and he had it delivered. No vinyl seals either. A definite failure to properly communicate the sale to the work order. It's a shame because the tech new what he was doing, but was not given the proper information. If anyone from Precision reads this, can I please have my seals?"

"After a somewhat rocky start with the scheduling department,

was very responsive. I had called the previous afternoon to set up an appointment, gave all the information, and was told I would be called back with an appointment time. When I hadn't heard anything by closing time, I left a message on their answering system asking to be contacted the following morning. I was called early the next day and, while I had to give all information over again, I was assured that I would be put on the schedule. The tech arrived within an hour. I had asked for a repair rather than a replacement, expecting that I would probably be pressured into purchasing a new door. There was no pressure to replace the door. The tech evaluated the condition of my door and said that, while he would recommend eventually replacing the two cracked panels, he could repair it. He did show me that one of the cables was frayed and strongly recommended replacing it; I had both cables replaced, which increased the original estimate by about $15, and pointed out that the cables that were on the door didn't match, with one a smaller gauge than the other. When the work was done, the door

and descended smoothly, with none of the wake-the-dead screeching noise it had been making. The tech was courteous and cheerful and also helped me reprogram a keyless entry device, even calling the office to get instructions for my particular unit. Other than the minor scheduling glitch, my experience with this company was very positive and when I am ready to replace the door panels, I will very likely use them, as the ballpark estimate I received was also very reasonable."
