"The guy that out was really great. He sat with me and helped decipher what he needed to do. He was very available, quick, and on time. The price was fair. He did a great job.

-Tami G.

"They came to the house and inspected the chimney & provided a quote within a few days. When the new cap was complete, I was able to pick it up and paint it" (house color) before installing. They completed the installation when scheduled. Everything went smoothly.

Chimney Cap Repair reviews in Phoenix

Our chimney had not been used or cleaned in over 20 years. In this time, many birds had fallen in because of the absence of a Flue Cap. Some were rescued, some were not. I called at around 10:30 AM on 2/17/12. I was told that someone would be in my area around 12:30 PM. Promptly at 12:30 arrived, examined ...More the condition of the chimney (it was very bad of course after 20 years of neglect.) and got to work.

He put a mat down on the floor, set up a vacuum-type machine and began the process. Afterwards he told me that he took away the remains of about a dozen "souls." (I also found out that A A Chimney Sweep will also come out to rescue birds that are trapped inside your chimney.)

I paid $110 dollars for the cleaning service, which reflected a $40 discount and $149 for a stainless steel Flue Cap. also had a less expensive Flue Cap but I chose stainless steel. Tax was $13.86. The total amount paid was $272.86.

was very professional and took the time to answer many questions I had about using the chimney. (I have yet to light my first fire.) The thing that impressed me most was his efficiency and respect for the lost birds. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again without hesitation.

Purchased a new home, previous owners suggested I have the chimney cleaned. This company was great to work with. Very prompt, extremely careful to not make a mess, really good at explaining the process and showed me anything I might need to know for general operation - as well as things to watch out for.
The chimney didn't have a flue cap, ...More so he advised the benefits of having one - showed me photos of the improvised solution that was in place. The cap sounds expensive, however I've looked online and they aren't cheap. He was able to install on the same visit, and the cap appears to be a nice quality.
Very happy with this service overall. Exceeded my expectations.

I originally only called for a $199 vent / duct cleaning. When they got there I have a lot of stuff that needs done so I asked for a deal on a chimney / dryer vent cleaning. He offered me a chimney cap since I didn't have one and put it on and while doing that noticed my concrete was all cracked out ( no not an upsale ) I was already aware it ...More had just slipped my mind that it did need to be done. When he finished putting it on he showed me before and after pictures of his work on the chimney.
Pretty much he made my place way more livable for under $500. There was a dead bird that he had to fish out my chimney, he didn't charge me extra when I went over 10 vents, He cleaned my coils since they really really needed it. All services were done very well. He was not only on time, But when I asked if he was going to be on time or if the appointment may have slipped his mind he asked if it was ok if he showed up 15 minutes early.
Great service, Great prices, and on time. Any issues I have that this company services I will be calling them from now on. When they left the air smelled awesome.
Btw that $199 deal is unbelievably good I told my ac guy and he said it had to be a scam that it was way to cheap lol they almost scared me out of getting the service. If they only knew how much more service I got for $300 more. The ducts were shining clean when you looked into them with no vent when the service was done. I was concerned I got over priced on the additional work, But then I googled the price of a chimney cap installed and everyone was saying $250 was about the normal price... I got such a good deal!

We had been having a little rain water running down the brick fireplace face inside the house. This occurred despite a new roof in which extra attention was paid to preventing leaks around the roofing interface (which was also water-tested when the roof replacement was complete). But the water-testing (by the roofer) did that ...More some water was finding its way into the house somehow via the chimney itself. So I expected some repointing to be required on the chimney
But careful examination by the mason revealed only a single crack around the circumference of the chimney right at the top finish of brick, plus a bunch of cracks in the cement cap on top. He sealed the crack with a polymer mortar type material designed for the task, and used an asphalt material (several applications) to seal the cracks in the cement cap.
We have not had a hard rain since the work, so the end result is not yet tested. But the situation was discussed openly and clearly with me on the roof with him, and the actual work performed was clearly needed. It was also less in scope than what I expected, and so was the cost.
No pressure. No upselling.
I had called two different masons to assess and quote on the work. was the only one to respond, and did so promptly. He did the work required within the very next few days. Easy to work with. Would not hesitate to use him again. Thanks !

This service visit went great. shows up with his wife and they go to work right away. He did a great job on the dryer, not only cleaning the huge buildup of lint, but sealing up some leaks that were in the vent as well. He did a complete job of cleaning the chimneys and I felt they went the extra mile ...More by cleaning the inside of the pot belly . They did a great job of protecting our living room as well by putting protective covers down on the floor around the chimney. After he did the cleaning he wrote up a list of suggestions to protect our chimney including repair on some of the motar joints that had dissolved due to water collecting in parts of the chimney because of the absence of a chimney . It took him approximately 2 and a half hours from start to finish. and were prompt, professional and friendly. I will use them every season to clean and inspect our chimneys.

Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney sweep came to our house at the appointed time and spent two hours carefully cleaning and inspecting the fireplace and chimney. They suggested further repairs of a new custom chimney cap (which I knew was needed due to previous inspection by the gas company), replacing the door to the ash bin, which I knew was rusted out, ...More and some repair work to the chimney brick, which was not a surprise considering the age of the house and chimney, and the knowledge that nothing had been done in the past 12 years. We wrote a check for the recommended repairs, and were told that they would be completed within two to three weeks, depending on delivery of materials. It's always a gamble writing a check for services that are promised, rather than delivered, but Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney Sweep were as good as their word. Within two weeks we had a new custom-made chimney cap, a new ash bin door, and the required repair of the chimney. I would definitely call upon this business again for any dryer vent or chimney needs, and I can whole-heartedly endorse their services.
