Urology Reviews in Philadelphia

The visits with him are usually okay. I go in and his staff is generally okay. Some of their manner leaves a lot to be desired. He is easy to talk to and very laid back. I think some of the staff can be a little more professional. His performance is great and he let a woman come and talk to me about the surgery and I was surprised. I went in not satisfied with the fact that he was not worried about my bladder and correct it but that was my personal feeling about that. I had the infection for several months and between him and my GYN they came to a point of getting rid of one of it. I was not satisfied with that but I suppose that was my fate. I would be seeing him in another week. I had to ask him if it is important not to have this infection before surgery and that’s when he got concerned about it. I guess because they are so busy they
’t always hear you. He said he would check me the next week to see if I still had it. He is generally friendly. It is not that he has not tried his best to correct the problem with the treatment but it is just that I think that Botox would do no good on the bladder. I
’t have a problem with the doctor himself.

He saved my husband?s life. He was just a really wonderful man from the beginning. It was a prostate cancer issues and there are a lot of issues that you have to consider and my husband decided to go with the surgical route. He does the da
robotic surgery and my husband is a 100% normal and he has no side effects. They spared all his nerves, got all his cancer and it was fabulous. Within half an hour of the surgery he came down to talk to me personally to tell me that everything was alright. He was just wonderful and I just think he is a super guy. They are busy, but once you are in the system, everything comes along nicely. There is a half an hour waiting regardless. The staff was super. The bed side manner was good all the way through and even in the hospital.

Before the surgery he had been seeing me for a year and a half and monitoring me with regular PSA tests. Tests showed a possible problem and that lead to a biopsy which confirmed the cancer diagnosis. The surgery was successful and my follow up exams over the last 3 and 1/2 years have been good. Dr

skills as a surgeon and his guidance and information throughout the entire process were very helpful in my decision to have the kind of surgery I eventually had. I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor to help me through this very trying time.

He is very knowledgeable, professional and very easy to work with. He takes time to talk to me and explains everything really well. He has a great bedside manner and his treatment is very effective. The office is also very well organized. His staff is also very prompt, friendly and helpful.

I have been going to him for about fifteen years. I was having difficulty passing urine. I had to do multiple surgeries before I could get the surgery done by my urologist. I was satisfied with the overall service. He did a great job. He has a good availability.

must be much in demand, when I called for an appointment, the first available date was at least two months later. When I finally met with him, he was helpful, respectful and easy to talk to. He gave every appearance of being knowledgeable, experienced and competent. The only negative aspect of my single consultation with him so far was that he seemed a bit rushed and frequently interrupted or dismissed my questions or concerns before hearing them fully, a pattern that seemed to increase in intensity as the appointment progressed. I was disappointed to receive a "one size fits all" diagnosis and recommendation at the end, but for all I know that may be the best anyone could do, given my particular set of symptoms and near-total lack of the usual risk factors. I was also surprised that the option of talking with a psychologist or counselor specializing in sexual problems never came up. I hope to update this review after my follow-up consultation(s) with Dr.
