Shoe Repair Reviews in Philadelphia

it was by far the worst business experience i have ever had....the owner pulled me into the backroom to show me how his crews were tracked and how professional his company was....the experience i had was three deliveries that diddnt happen and the wrong refrigerator...after four
e calls without response the solution they had was to send out a technician to puta piece of chrome over the black side panels to .atch the other appliances...they were late too so we cancelled...the dishwaher does a poor job and the refrigerator makes noise....i should of kept the original appliances...they do sell highend viking products, but has far as their midrange appliances they are a scam....buyer beware

Got the name from the Insinkerator web-site. The provider (
) was very professional and courteous. Called him and he came within an hour. Was very professional and courteous. Explained the charges ahead of time and also explained my options. Prompt, very professional and cleaned up once the work was done. Will hire his services again.

Do yourself a favor and never deal with them. I have had more problems than I can count using them. I can't remember one service order that went smoothly. Problems are rarely fixed, rescheduling is impossible, and contacting anyone about billing issues is a joke.

My garbage disposal had no power after an electrical storm, and reseting the house's tripped circuit breaker didn't fix it. I called on a Sunday and left a message, and got a call back from

in 15 minutes, who then walked me through finding the disposal's circuit breaker reset button in about one minute. He was really nice about it. Easiest service ever, and very responsive customer service, even though he knew he wouldn't get a house call from this problem. I'll definitely call him for future work!

I called

on Wednesday and they were able to come out the same day to look at my washer. With my busy schedule the only available time I had was after 5 pm.Lady in the customer service gave me the time frame 5 to 7, and informed me that a technician will call 30 minutes before arriving. Technician

was very professional, friendly and just as they promised he was there within 30 minutes after the call.

was very kind and responsive to my concerns, He addressed all the questions I had. I was very happy to know that he already had needed part in his truck and he was able to finish a repair at the same time.

They charged me only $140 when other companies estimated prices varied from $200 to $240

I am very pleased with

and looking forward to doing business with them again. In fact, I scheduled them to look at the dishwasher on one of my rental properties and I will make sure to keep their number on my speed dial!

, the owner, called to apologize for his company's failures with my refrigerator gasket problem. He assured me that he was mortified by the response to my repair problems and told me he would see to it that it did not happen again. By way of compensation, he gave me the previous March repair jobs on microwave and ice-maker gratis (he had planned not to send me a bill until the gasket had also been repaired). As a result of his assurances by phone today and our fifteen-year experience together, I will definitely go back and try to use him again.

He came out, worked on my washing machine and told me I needed a new pump since I washed a rug and it got clogged in the washing machine. He took the washing machine apart and did not put it back together (he left parts all over my basement floor). He used a paint bucket already in the basement for another purpose, by the way he didn?t ask, to apparently drain the water from washing machine and he left the bucket in the back of the washing machine along with parts of the washing machine on the floor. He told me his traveling charges (we live in the same county) + labor to replace the pump would be $270 to fix. He failed to tell me that the $85 he charged today would be deducted (I had to call him to inquire about it) before I saw the mess he left in the basement. He was supposed to call back about the part and he never did. I called a local and he fixed the washing machine for $100. I would never hire him again.

I called
Philadelphia Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
whose name I found off of Angie's list and though he works outside of Phila, he made an exception after I explained the problem. Over the phone, he assured me that the problem was a

repair. We communicated by phone to schedule a time and he showed up at the agreed upon time. He fixed the problem without much issue and seemed unfazed by the whole repair. It appeared that he had done this type of repair hundreds of times and unlike the others who I spoke with, did not make a mountain out of a molehill. While he could have charged plenty, the cost was very reasonable despite his commute into the city. Would use him for future repairs.

called ahead of the appointment time to let me know that he would be a bit early. That was great!
When checking out the D/W, he quickly identified the leak to be a faulty gasket around the door. He cleaned, adjusted and replaced the gasket, then ran the D/W to check the result. The leak was fixed. At this point, most repairmen would pack up and go. Instead,
Philadelphia Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
checked out the entire D/W to make certain, no other issues existed. Only after he was satisfied with his results, did he secure the D/W back under the counter and presented me with a more than fair bill.
It is refreshing to meet an honest service repairman you feel you can really trust. I would hire this company again anytime!

Technician was punctual, professional and thorough. He quoted the price over the phone before the appointment, and requestefd that I email him a picture of the old disposal so he could arrive with the correct part. We were impressed and pleased with the work!
