"I bought an old row home that needed a lot of work due to neglect over the years by the former owner, who was elderly. & his crew were prompt, worked hard, and were very interactive. They did such a good job that a lot of people in the neighborhood commented on the work (this was a big project that went on for a few weeks) and asked for his contact info. He & his guys were courteous, professional & polite. has about 30 years of experience. He knows a lot about his craft & takes much pride in his work. He is fair & has a very positive personality & a "can-do" attitude. Since did this job for me, I am happy to say that my house looks great, I get compliments on it, and I no longer get water in the basement, no matter how hard it rains!"

" and his crew came in and sanded out old grout and re-pointed portions of our house. We had a leak in our 3rd floor and thought it was coming from the brick. identified other problem areas and fixed them in a timely manner. His men showed up every day on time and cleaned up after they were done. They set the scaffolding up and placed a shield around it so dust from sanding would not get all over the courtyard.
It was a pleasure working with . He is nice to talk to and discussed the work in full to be completed. They actually did a little extra work but didn't charge us extra. They also fixed broken sidewalk filling with concrete and sealed our brick with a special spray.
He called the next week to follow up and make sure we didn't have any leaks.
As with any contractor you use... you should always inspect the work yourself. Check around your property and make sure it is in the condition you expected."

"Gave the estimate and we accepted. Came when he said he would. Removed old sidewalk and poured new one. Came back after that was cured to replace brickwork and put cobblestone outline around the tree bed. Work turned out very nice. Very professional and timely. I would recommend their services."

" J. Leuzzi is the self proclaimed ?King of Sidewalks? and ?King of Cement?. He has definitely earned these titles. I have used him numerous times over the years to replace sidewalks, repoint brick, replace lintels and install star bolts at my primary residence and rental properties. He has a great understanding row home construction and does beautiful stamped concrete work at reasonable price.
Most recently, replaced the sidewalks and curbs at one of my triplexes. The work was done on time, looked great and was performed in a professional manner. Even my tenants were pleased and it?s not often I hear complements from them. They commented that his team was very polite and did a great job providing temporary access to the building while the existing sidewalks were demolished and the new concrete was drying. Also, they thought the finished product looked great!
In addition, I was very happy the work was performed as scheduled, because it required coordination with the tenants. It saves a lot of time not having to notify the tenants the work will be performed at different time or field call about when is the work actually going to be completed.
performed the work over 2 days. The demolition was performed on the first day. All the debris was removed, the sidewalk was taped off, saw horses were placed at each end of the sidewalk and boards were laid down for the tenants to access the property. The sidewalks and curbs were poured on the second day. Blankets and boards were laid down, so the tenants could access the property over the drying concrete. The sidewalk was taped off and saw horses placed at each end again. No debris was left on the street or adjoining sidewalk. Everything was left broom swept. He returned one week later to remove the wood forms, which typically never happens."

" and showed up a little late but had called to say that they would (traffic). They were very conscientious about gently moving furniture out of the way before carrying their ladder through my house and about laying down a tarp before setting to work for ease of clean-up. The actual repointing didn't take that long. I had contracted to remove two of the four awnings on the back of my house but we had enough time to take down the last two as well. They cleaned up as they worked and also removed the scrap steel and aluminum from the awnings. I was a good half-day's work."

"Been married 30 years, and I think we both agree that an experience such as moving out of your house could be devastating and it could be even more so if you choose the wrong contractor. I didn't know 's company from . However, he was recommended to me by a larger contractor that uses on many jobs. He indicated that if he ever needed a job done, he would in fact use for several reasons. - Polite and honorable - you don't get much of that now adays. He will also tell you like it is, and let you decide if you want to fix it or not. - Fair Pricing - he is extremely fair in his pricing. The higher price above reflected me going over to the house daily and saying can you do this or can you do that over and above what we originally requested and that the insurance company allowed. So that was totally on me. That said, he didn't gouge me on any one project. - Hard Working - He has no more than 4 guys working on the job at any one time, but normally two. I will tell you that you would swear that those two guys are equal to a 12-man team. It was amazing what they were able to get done each and every day. And I would go over there every morning or at night home from work to see what they did and I was truly amazed. - Honest - Naturally, we left them the keys to the door and I literally trusted them completely. They are from Romania where their work ethic is second to none. - Professionalism and Perfectionism - What more can I say. He had his guys paint our guys about 7-8 times. Why ??? Our house is over 60 years and the walls are not exactly perfect. So depending on how the sun shines in the room, it may or may not show a slight imperfection on the walls. Both my wife told him that there was nothing he could do. So everytime we would come home, one day it was all painted, the next day it would be respackled in certain places. The ceiling alone he did maybe 5-6 times. We finally yelled at him, , you can't do anything more. Not your fault, move on. I had never met before this job and in the first 2-3 weeks, I did not take some of his suggestions as I did later on. It took only 2 or 3 experiences in dealing with other dealers, stores or contractors that I found that everything he was telling me was not only straight on, but done to help me. Whether I liked it or not. From that point forward, if he made a suggestion, I would do it because he did it to make the house better provided it stayed within my budget. I know this is a bit much in terms of explanation, but I wanted to explain to everyone that if you want someone that will work for you, that is too say provide you the best price, hardest work, most creative layout and design, than is the way to go. Both my wife and agree that is in the TOP 5 of decisions we have made in our marriage. We have also made many mistakes, but this one is definitely a . I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE JOB THEY DID. And he came in several weeks sooner than may neighbor counterparts who had the same level of work as I had."

"He did a great job. His crew was in and out quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves. He did an excellent job. I felt it was a good price. I noticed the difference after he completed the work. The draft from the windows has been cut down. They were personable, neat, and prompt. This job was done a lot better compared to the last time I had it done from another company. They quality of the work looked great. "

" , Jr., and were very professional and I was pleased with the quality of their work. The 4-man crew completed the job in 2 days. They worked skillfully and efficiently. They were also very conscientious about cleaning up and keeping dust from spreading far from their work area (covered furniture, hung plastic sheets on doorways, etc.). I would use & Sons again in the future."

"I asked to replace & install a larger than the original wall air conditioner.
He agreed to do that however when he showed up with four men he said that he didn't have the correct materials & couldn't install the air conditioner but would return to do so at which time he would then repair the wall as agreed. told me that he would have to get an entire roll of insulation to have some to surround the AC. Well, that type of insulation isn't correct for outside walls because it wouldn't be able to handle moisture. I found this out from the air conditioner installer at and he also said that a wall air conditioner needs caulking for a proper fit. I informed of this.
now recommends doing that in the Spring (I have been in touch withhim since last summer- its now December) because he said the caulk would freeze in the winter. For the past several months I've had problems with him getting to my house to finish the work and finally I told him to just finish the work originally agreed to and forget inserting the air conditioner part.
I'd like to finish the work as specified in the contract."

" and his employee showed up on time and worked cleanly and quickly. is very upfront about repairs and his prices are more than reasonable. This is our 2nd time using for masonry work and would definitely use him again."
