Luggage Repair reviews in Philadelphia

What a fantastic find!
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
is tucked away on Nebraska near MLK. Walked in, explained my need and walked out 20 minutes later with my fix completed. While there, two customers came in with luggage repairs and both stated they had been using
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
for several years and had nothing but good things to say. The store also has a HUGE selection of luggage, briefcases, backpacks, purses, wallets and travel supplies. I'll definitely be back

I've had a

roller bag for some years and the zipper gave out. The store from which I bought it is no longer in business, so I searched online and found
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
, in the new part of the Friendly Center, next to
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
. They were very accommodating on the phone----yes, we handle B and R repairs and it will be $10 to send it to them and $10 to send it back---the repair is free. I explained that I needed the bag back within a few weeks for a trip. They called after less than a week to say the bag was back, repaired, and could be picked up. I appreciated the friendliness and promptness of the service. BTW,
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
is a full luggage sales shop, carrying several brands of travel luggage, business and computer cases of all kinds, etc.

Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
is a genius when it comes to repairs on luggage and purses--especially zippers. I haven't needed her services in a number of years, but when I do, she is my 'go-to' person. She is friendly, will let you know if your item is repairable, and because she stays so busy you may have to wait awhile, but it is SO worth it! If it's an item that was costly and you love it, it pays to repair rather than replace. I'm sorry I can't provide more details (like cost of service) as it has been a long time (even the date is a guess), but I do know that I was impressed enough to keep

in my "mental rolodex" for all time.

They did a great job of repairing my shoes but more important than that is the way they made me FEEL. From the moment I stepped into the shop,
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
made me feel like a long-time friend....like she was glad to see me, and glad to take care of what I needed. Taking your shoes in for repair isn't usually one of the more memorable things one would do, but when a consumer experience stands out above what we've come to expect these days, it's worth writing about. I highly recommend

for making a

This was pretty straightforward repair. Took about a week. The pricing seemed, frankly, arbitrary, as the staff eyeballed the luggage and said, $36. Having no other prices for comparison, I accepted that price.
Staff was supposed to call a week later when it was ready, but did not call. For this reason, I have rested a 'C' in responsiveness. I had to call to check on it, and it was ready. Because it was ready when I called, I'm rating a 'A' for punctuality. Staff was friendly, and invited us to return with any issues.

It took some creativity to accomplish the task d/t some other leather embellishments on the bag, and she did a wonderful job. I showed the work to some co-workers and they were really impressed. She sewed up the seam and you cannot even tell she did a repair. She obviously needed to replace the grommet, and before doing the work, she told me that she would need to replace it with a grommet a little larger than the current one. Because the grommets are on opposite ends of the purse, you would never visualize both grommets at the same time. The new grommet is on marginally larger than the current grommet, and it doesn't bother me that it isn't exactly the same. She does beautiful work. don't hessitate to bring you bags here. You might be able to save your favorite bag!
- Heidi & Dawn D.

I cannot recommend these folks enough. They have three stores, and accept luggage for repair at all three locations. They quoted me clear estimated prices, labeled the luggage for repair clearly, had very good communication during the process, and returned the luggage sooner then expected. The work appears to be well done. I am now inspecting the rest of our luggage to determine if anything else is in need of repair.
With the price of good luggage pretty high, these folks will help you get longer life out of your investment.

Left off the strap, did research all over the internet for comparable service and all I could find was out of town providers that I knew nothing about. Went to Angie's list and found
Philadelphia Luggage Repairs Provider Name Locked
and decided to give it a try. I told him to take his time for repairs as we both did not know if the repairs could be provided. Much to my happiness the repairs were completed, to the point that I could not tell the repairs had taken place, and I drove from the business very happy with the service and great job on the repairs.
