"I've been using
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and A/C since I moved into my house two years ago for all of my heating and cooling service. They've always been fantastic and this time was no different. The technician arrived on time, performed routine maintenance, replaced the filters, and sealed a portion of the PVC that may have been dripping onto the stack.

"I would highly recommend
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and will definitely use them in the future. The day I called about my heater not working they sent someone out within 2 hours to have someone come out to check the heater. They came out and quoted us $3000 for a new heater or $4000 for a new heater and A/C (both were deals listed on Angies List). The gentleman that came out to give me a quote was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I decided to get the new A/C also since our A/C unit was very old and I have been having problems with it the past few years. The gentlemen that came to install the heater and A/C came out on time and worked constantly from 8:30am to 4pm. When the work was completed I had a problem with my debt card processing and the gentlemen at the office went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. The work I had completed and the products installed were high quality. Everyone I spoke to at the office and every technician that came out to my house were all very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I cannot say anything negative about this company and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

"We had a great experience with
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
came twice- once to determine what was wrong with our heating system (for which we purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal") and once to service our whole system. He was very professional and patiently explained all of our "first time homeowner" questions. Our heat is now working great, and we will definitely use Unique again in the future.

"These guys are a huge ripoff! The thermocouple on my boiler went bad. This happens all the time. It's basically a wire held in by a few screws. The part costs $12 and can be installed by any
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
in about 15-20 minutes. But when my boiler went out, I had to go to work. I have a 5-year-old and a wife who is 8 months pregnant, so I wanted the heat to be back on before we came home. So I called these guys and told them I needed a thermocouple. They told me they would come by between 11am and 1pm so that I could meet them there. They also said it would be $130 for the trip, but that it would go toward the job (which I figure should cost maybe $100- so no big deal). They got there late. The guy immediately tried to tell me that I needed a new pilot assembly too because mine was rusted. I knew this wasn't true. He puts me on the phone with someone to give me the price. He said it would be almost $700!! So I told him I JUST want the thermocouple. He argued with me, but eventually agreed to do it for $279!! When I asked why it was so high he told me it was because the $130 was IN ADDITION to the cost of the job. At that point I told them to leave. I did pay the $130 because I agreed to it, but they did nothing. After work, I bought the part for $12 and installed it myself. I took out the pilot assembly to find no rust whatsoever. It upsets me very much that these guys are going around ripping off people who don't know any better."

"My furnace was turned off last evening by PGW because the tech said that it was carbonized and needed to be cleaned before it could be turned back on. I called them because I thought my CM detector was going off, but it turned out to be my cell phone needing to be charged. Oh Well!! That mix up saved me from eventual carbon monoxide poisoning. I called
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and Cooling from Angie's List and
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave me a 2hr window for them to come do the job. The technicians arrived within that time frame and knocked on my door, but I did not hear them.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
called to let me know that they had been to my house and that he would send them back (they were around the corner). I'm so glad that they came back. The two techs were very pleasant (as is
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
). They explained what the job entailed and why it did not come under the special. I observed them while they worked and I saw what they meant. The process is quite involved. They disassembled and cleaned the furnace, reassembled it and cleaned up after. They asked me to turn on the thermostat to the setting I normally have it on. I did that and returned to the basement and they said "You've got heat!" I did the Rocky dance. I am very happy with the job that they did and how professional they were. I feel the radiators warming up. I called
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
to let him know how pleased I was and to thank him for the reasonable price. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

"Perfect. The Philadelphia Gas Company suggested I replace my 12 year old hot water heater. I emailed
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
for an estimate. His price for installation was on par with other installers. In addition to the hot water heater install, he ran a new heating duct to my second floor, front bedroom.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew were on time and completed the job within 4.5 hours. The installation went very well, no glitches. And
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked

"In the midst of The Polar Vortex, our ancient house heater was diagnosed by PGW as putting out much too much carbon monoxide and they shut it off. I went to Angie's List and found the
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
listing. They had a very good rating and answered the phone when I called. Mr.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
came over that day and said he was not comfortable attempting to clean an old furnace like ours and recommended replacing. I have never been so relieved, having worried about the old heater for some time. It was old 23 years ago when we moved in.
There was one big snow day when no one could get out, but the next day at 9am Mr.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and the crew appeared with the new heater. They worked on removing the old heater and then brought the new one in and began to install it. They drained the water from the system, and when the new heater was installed, they refilled the system and balanced the nine radiators. They put drapes down to prevent dirt. They were unfailingly courteous, and worked as quickly as they could.

Later I had a question about the expansion tank, and when I called Mr.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, he answered right away and even came over to see what was going on himself. We are very happy with the whole thing and would certainly use
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
again .

"Do not use
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. We used Cardinal as a service company and it was fine, except that
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
(the owner) was frequently hours late and so chatty he had to be pushed out the door. When our old boiler broke, we hired Cardinal to replace it which was a huge mistake.
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
sold us on a feature that was supposed to increase energy efficiency valued at about $400.00 but installed it incorrectly. As well, they just left the old boiler and a huge oil mess sitting in the basement. When I tried to get
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
to take care of the unfinished and incorrect work, he stopped answering phone calls. I ended up having to hire a scrap guy to come take out the old boiler. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH
Philadelphia HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
.
