"I contacted quite a few contractors. Some of the estimates were extremely high. 
, Ed O' specically, looked at my roof and gave me a good price. He had a high rating on Angie's List. He gave me a rubber maintenance free roof to the entire roof touching all walls and parallel walls. Everything was done very nicely. He also secured the side gutter with hangers on the north corner of the roof, changing the location of downspout from the backside of my house for a prettier appeal."

"We highly recommend this father and son team. They are very professional and extremely nice and genuine. The prices are hard to beat and they have a strong work ethic and do high quality work -- most importantly we trust them.
This is the 2nd time we hired them. The window job ended up requiring extra framing effort on all 9 windows and they did the extra work for no additional charge.
Previously, we hired them to fix our blown off siding and more importantly replace the rotted framing and plywood underneath. Other guys quoted us several thousand dollars more more while trying to sell us brand new siding on the entire back of our house. said we didn't need new siding and offered to do the framing and plywood work plus reattach the old siding including the blown-off pieces for a price of <$750."

"They are absolutely the best! They explained everything and they did a perfect job. The person who came to interview me was there throughout the the entire job. People of individual skills were monitored. Anytime I had a question, and I had many, they answered them. They were the most pleasant men I have met in a long time! The flashing is the best I have ever had done. I have gone through several roofing experiences. They did the smaller roof over the window beautifully with copper. I specifically asked for copper, and their metalworker, who was wonderful, was not sure if eh could do it. Once he determined that he could he did it perfectly. They are very business like and do not waste any time. Because of the location, the work all had to be done by going up ladders and carrying buckets down the ladders. This was not a quick or easy job."

"I used Roofers because 3 friends recommended them. They came promptly and did a fine job.
Everything was explained to me in a non-patronizing manner. I didn't feel pressured to spend more money, as has been my experience with other contractors .
I am writing this review because after fixing my roof they called..asked if everything was o.k....and answered any questions that I had. They were competitive with other estimates...and, again, came highly recommended.
I would use them again, with pleasure."

"They did a fantastic job, a previous contractor had destroyed our home. They were busy with other jobs but squeezed us in because the other companies bad work had left us with water running into the building. I called them on a Wednesday, they came out for an estimate on Friday and would have started work on the following Monday but due to weather didn't start until Wednesday. You would have never known they were there, they did such a great job cleaning up. The workers were so courteous and they are so dependable. Their workmanship is excellent. They restored my faith in contractors. They did the work and didn't even ask for a down payment, they left before I got home and just mailed the bill the next day. They were so honest and trustworthy. I can not say enough nice things about them. "

"As a former roofer, I went into the process with a skeptical eye. First had come out to estimate the cost to repair the primary problem, which was a leak in our 2nd floor master bedroom. Due to my being out of town during his first visit, I actually made him come back out more than once and walk the roof with me to discuss the various problems, which he was kind enough to oblige. Unfortunately, it turns out the former owner had incorrectly installed a heavy wooden deck on the 3rd floor, which had damaged the underlying roof. Cost to tear off the deck and replace the roof was $1,400. Add pavers to allow us to still use the space: $700. I was so pleased with their work, I had and crew come back to repair our main roof and install additional gutters ($3,850). They did an excellent job in a timely fashion. I had have them back out for a few small items afterward that were not quite to my liking, but they did so the next day without a hassle. So far no new leaks. Ask for , if you like my story. He is an honest man, who will not up-sell you on unnecessary repairs and materials."

"We asked our neighbor to recommend his contractor after his porch construction last summer. came to our home the day after our call. He listened carefully to us as we explained the projects we had in mind, examined our property, took measurements and came back the next day with an estimate. We were fortunate that he had some time in his schedule and after we agreed to the contract he and his builders were on site. Within ten days we had a new back fence and new front porch!"

"Things started out well in November of 2007. We accepted Mr. 's bid on the advice of friends who he had recently worked for. His bid was a few thousand less than a reputable roofing company, but he seemed knowledgeable and explained that he could come in at a lower rate because it was he himself who did all the work. Indeed, Mr. is an experienced and excellent carpenter and roofer, particularly as it relates to issues with old buildings. We thought we FINALLY had a great roofer and carpenter for the future. But after about three weeks and the job about 75% complete, Mr. left the job without notice. To make matters worse, I had just paid him the final installment on the contract (by mistake). His supplies and tools then remained on-site on a tenant's deck covered by a tarp for months. I called and called him with no response. Finally in February 2008, he called back out of the blue to say that he was sorry, but he had an emergency hospitalization and had a long recovery time. Fair enough, but it would have been nice for someone to let us know. By that point it was winter. The roofing part of the bid was 95% finished but much of the associated carpentry and work on the gutter was not done. He retrieved his tools. Meanwhile a family of raccoons found their way into openings left in the unfinished carpentry and made havoc all winter. This made my tenants understandably crazy. Mr. kept putting me off. It is now November 2008 and the work still is not done. I am currently getting bids on the remaining items, and consulting with an attorney about possible legal action."
