"Initially they were great, as they gave me a preliminary phone estimate and the actual estimate when they showed up was a bit lower. I had problems with them following up and getting back to me to give me a written proposal and to schedule install. I had to keep "chasing them down" and calling. When the estimator showed up he was very good and gave me sound advice regarding my options, including aesthetic and economical choices. The installers were polite and professional. One advised me to change the door location to an arrangement that worked better. "

"An appointment was made for early morning. The time came and went yet no technician arrived. When we called to inquire about what time we could expect someone, we were told that "they forgot" and would have to reschedule. Another appointment was made for a few days later with an afternoon window (over 3 hours). Yet again, no one showed up. In both cases, no one from 
ever called to cancel the appointment or state that they would need to reschedule."

"Contract was signed in January 2007 for $20K plus after a promise to also complete the closet if I agreed to commit by December 31, 2006, which I did. After a first meeting, I was given minimal direction in choosing supplies. After asking for help, I received minimal. Thus, it took over a year to choose and order all of the supplies for the bathroom. During that time three different sets of workers came to do measurements. I was quite happy with the men ( and were two of the three) who did the actual work, but had difficulty with along the way. When an inventory of the supplies was taken, it was not noticed that I had ordered sinks that were too large and then when I confirmed a new set of sinks with him before ordering, they were of the wrong size too. Several times, would ask where a faucet or other supply was, even though it was left exactly where it was when the workers started or was moved by the workers, and actually suggested other contractors who installed wood flooring in the bedroom next to the bathroom may have stolen them. He nickeled and dimed me along the way and would not give me any price increases until the end. I had to negotiate twice when he charged me way too much for extra work and would never consider services included in the original contract that were never done. Overall, the work was done fairly well, although, during the last day, I had to have them fix a few things, such as centering the medicine cabinets and lighting over the sinks. After finishing some painting and touching up some of the scratches they left on the toilet seat, wall, and tub, my bathroom will look great. If you want to hire a general contractor who gives you no guidance and increases prices along the way, is your man."
