Philadelphia Drain Plumbers Reviews
"<blockquote>I called (an employee, not the owner) answered the phone when I called, said that it did not sound too good, and was out to my house within 15 minutes. <br /> </blockquote><blockquote>"
"I saw their $75 deal on Angie's list for a drain cleaning and plumbing inspection. I gave them a call in the morning and Mr. was accumulated sewer water at the steps of my rear entrance. Upon flushing of toilet, he knew where the problem was. Upon locating the source of the drain in the front of my house, he commenced to begin unclogging the drain. It only took a few minutes until the drain was cleared and the water in the rear dissipated. Problem solved.<br /> <br /> Later, when inspecting the interior of the house, I was informed by him that the clogged drain was the source of the problem to some accumulated water in the bathroom of the basement.<br /> <br /> Professional and courteous service with their great $75 drain cleaning and inspection deal. <br /> Wouldn't have a problem recommending them as a service to others. <br /> No complaints.<br />"
"Roto Rooter is responsive and punctual about showing up to do the work. Their servicemen seem to be professional and knowledgeable. However, each time they've come here, we've been required to run to the hardware store to purchase a new drain cover for outside of the house because the old one (or not so old) is broken in the process of removing it. <br /> <br /> This time, the serviceman drilled from outside the house right up into--and through-- the bowl of our downstairs toilet. He was duly mortified and replaced the toilet immediately, obviously at no cost to us. The quality of the replacement toilet is not comparable to the old one, a great deal of time was consumed rectifying the situation, and I was left to contend with the resulting mess. <br /> <br /> We were charged the full fee for the requested work...no discount was offered to compensate for our inconvenience. Accidents happen, but this one seemed totally avoidable. We'll think twice about calling this company again."
"E. on and the upstairs sink that had the washers replaced started to leak. Before we realized what happened, the water entered the downstaitrs causing over $7,000 in damage. "
"Called these folks because of the glowing reports on Angie's List. Other plumbers have told me that I need to have my sidewalk dug up and have the sewer vent replaced due to occassional backups in my basement. The reviews for that they had a camera they could fish through the pipe so I'd know for sure what I was getting into before committing to thousands of dollars worth of work. I don't recall if I actually spoke to "
"They were amazing! They were very nice, helpful and friendly. Another company looked at it and said they would have to open up the wall to take care of the leak. This company used a plumger and man power to get it taken care of very quickly. I would recommend him to all my friends and I will definitely be using him in the future."
"Good Service, prompt courteous service. In and out in a couple of hours, including time spent getting the faucet."
"They gave us a recommendation appraisal which I didn't agree at the time. They were able to do the wasn't open to a discussion on what needed to be done. That disappointed me because he didn't give my opinions a try at all. Although he fixed one of the problems, the second problem if we hired him for that would be above and beyond what needed to be done. He charged me $75.00 to unclog the sink. Understanding on how they operate, I know what to hire them for and what not to hire them for. They are average."
