Philadelphia Countertop Installers Reviews
"They did good work. However, at the end we had to have them come back a couple of times because one of the pieces was chipped. It had a crack in it. They were very amenable about it, though. They came right back once we pointed it out to them. The first time they came out and got a piece in, but it wasn't cut right. Then they had to go outside and cut it again, but it cracked again and they had to come back a third time. It was fine when they came out the third time. They did a good job at the end; it's just that we had to call them back. I thought the price was okay from what we got. We didn't go to too many different places."
"The project involved demolition and remodeling of our entire bathroom. Our initial experience with we received them.

Once the order was completed, we went to "
"Following our first visit to Colonial, the sales person my designer and I met with seemed to disappear. He did not respond to my phone calls or emails (nor did anyone else following up for him), so, running out of time, we came back out to Colonial and began work with someone else. (The second person we worked with was not able to find any record of the work we had had done with our first person, including sketches of the kitchen we had provided for estimates of quantity of granite needed, or the notes he had taken from our discussion.) Several more trips back out to Colonial and walk throughs of the granite yard and we found a wonderful stone for my kitchen. Unfortunately, the slabs had already been sold, so we had to wait roughly 10 days for Colonial to get new slabs in for us to look at. We made arrangements for the counters to be templated, and he was right on time . . . quite an experience to watch. A week later, they were again on time (early, actually) to install the granite. I discovered a week or so later -- after my kitchen was put back together and I could see everything clearly/cleanly -- that there was a dullness to the granite, and what seemed to be a crack in the stone. So they sent out several guys to examine the granite. Seems that the granite had been over-sealed, so they had to scrape the stone to remove some of the sealant. Looking much better. As for the crack, I was told it was natural to the stone. Seems that they might have either alerted me to it, or perhaps cut or polished the stone differently so it was not an issue. I was also surprised to discover that the underside of the countertop (1 1/2' lip extending beyond the cabinets and the 12" island overhang) was not polished (as it is in friends' granite countertops), but rather has some sort of fabric (you can read that, rough) backing. Seems a bit cheap. So the best about Colonial . . . their selection of granite, and the fact that it is an indoor granite yard. They come up short, however, on the sales end and on the stone finishing. Although I said above that I would use them again, I would seriously have to consider other suppliers before making such a commitment."
"From start to finish, Wholesale marble and granite was prompt, courteous, and professional. The owner of the company came and gave me a great price for my job and was very flexible in taking multiple forms of payment. His template crews and install crews were clean, polite, and capable craftsmen. I would recommend this company for work in the future."
"My budget was $17000. I gave them a budget and they lived within it. Their price was appropriate. My experience with them was ok. There were some things that they had done which I did not really like. There was a problem with the radiator that they had installed and could not get a level. So, it was coming off separating from the wall. I had some other smaller issues as well. They always knew better than I and that was not what I wanted as it could be frustrating. I got what I wanted. I guess I would recommend them to other members. They would not be a waste and would get the work done. They would be prompt and honest. I would not use them in the future as I found another service provider that I prefer at this point."
"Everyone involved was professional, courteous and helpful. cutting is flawless, and a perfect fit. Had some tight tolerances and "
"I cannot say enough positive things about or small. "
