"Fine. I dropped the car off at 10:00. They called at 2 to tell me it was completed. I did not need to make an appointment. They recommended $300 worth of work for the 90,000 miles, which I declined. I thought the price was a little high. Usually, they give me coupons - didn't have any this time."

"Replaced original tires on my Honda CR-V. Inquired about new tires on a Tuesday. Went home to research. Tires recommended turned out to be the top rated tires by Tirerack of Indiana - Yokohame Avid TRZ. Quote was $460. Came back Wednesday. Work was done in 45 minutes. Bill was $459.80 with installation and balancing, plus free 5K rotation. Tires are unbelievably quiet and smooth riding - what an improvement. Handling is also noticably improved - perhaps a reflection on OEM tires? I could not be more pleased - I will take my wife's car in next week!"

"I've used this mechanic for several years now on both my old car and my new one. They have always given me great service. They never overcharge or do anything I don't need, yet they notice if we need something so we don't get any surprises. They have very competitive prices. When we got new tires, they gave us such a great deal. We couldn't believe it. When my tire picked up a nail recently, they plugged the tire for free and fit me in the day after I called. They always are able to fit us in, even for last minute things and even have some Saturday hours for part of the year, which is really convenient for us. There is a family mom and pop vibe in this South Philly side street shop. They take care of their customers. Sometimes they can be a little gruff on the phone but are never rude. The location is a cute, small side street, so it's a little congested at times, but that has never bothered me. They give great service and have a mechanic I know I can trust."

We came to pick up the car only to realize they had failed to exchange the tires. They did so rapidly, and I think, too rapidly.
