Sample Car Alarm Systems Reviews

",The owner of this company,
Philadelphia Car Alarm Systems Provider Name Locked
, was called by me for my girlfriend at the recommendation ofthe local police to have my locks changed after a fight with her husband. It was 2a.m, he came right out, secured all the doors, changed all the locks and gave her an additional 10% off because she was a crime victim. He was a gentlemen that wanted to make sure that I would feel safe. And I did

explained the options available on my current system and suggested a fix for the problem that I was having (the system was getting inadvertently disarmed due to the sensitive entry fob). He even sent me a user's manual that is more detailed than the one I received when I purchased the unit, so that I
could program the system myself. When it became clear that the system was locked by the original installer, he proposed an on-site meeting at my home, and showed up as promised. In about a half hour, he worked through the programming options until I was satisfied, and then checked the system several times.
His attention to detail is rare these days. He probably could have talked me into purchasing another system, given the problem that I was having. But now the current system is working as I need it to, and I have saved hundreds of dollars. I would trust him with other needs on my auto, and we discussed upgrading the speaker system on my car stereo. Again his advice was along the lines of making changes that will provide the largest benefit at a reasonable cost. I plan to do business with him in the future.

came to look at this home I bought that had a Stargate Home Automation System for lighting, a/c alarm, etc.The system had been disconnected at some point and the home was a foreclosure. He looked at the system in early November and gave me a very professional estimate via email explaining everything. He said "it would be a bit of a learning process for him as he had not worked on many Smart home systems but not this one in particular. " He said " I have the utmost confidence I can get it working again and would even be able to use my smart phone to control everything with new add ons in parts to the existing panel." The estimate was for 4300.00 and mostly labor. He also said in this email "I realistically expect my time to be closer to 70-80 hours, but the price will not go up. From the get go it was endless excuses and dates and promises not kept. He asked for 1500.00 to get started. Said that would cover any parts and some of the labor. i gave him a check approx. 2 weeks before Thanksgiving with the agreement we would start day after Thanksgiving. When that day came he couldn't start because he said he was in the hospital. Long story short he finally started in mid december. After a week or two of doing very little and coming to the house a couple times he said he would require another 2350.00 for more parts and labor. I felt uneasy with this, but reluctantly agreed. He assured me everything was going fine and the main brain had tested ok and was just matter of programming system etc. Said also had no other jobs until after

. so was ready to finally come and spend as much time as necessary to get the job done. He also said he would not require any more cash until the job was done. Well as it got a week or so from Christmas he had not ordered the parts still and I said I want this done before Christmas like you said it would be. I told him he better expedite shipping and get going. He finally got the parts and showed up a few days before Christmas after me riding him. He worked on the system approx. 3-4 days. As the deadline approached a couple days before Christmas he said I can't get the system working I'm giving up. Something about the technology was too old (2003 house and system) was picking up interference from the electronics in the house and it could be made to work, but would require way too much time and labor. He said since he couldn't complete the job he would install a new smart home system that would be 5000.00 or so and would knock the lost labor from this job off the bill. I said I can't afford another 5000.00 can you just give me a couple days labor with some help around the house on other projects and my parts refund. He said yes. I have his text messages that confirm all of this. Then when time came for him to work a couple days more he made more excuses why he couldn't His truck broke down etc. He never made good on that. He also said of course you will get back the 1100.00 in parts. Still waiting on that. Starting

. 23rd he said it was all returned and had RMA's He even at one point said had the parts back and he was waiting for them. At some point after a few weeks of excuses and him saying he didn't know if they were going to refund or not because the parts had been hooked up, I contacted to see what was up because he quit answering my text messages. Just told them approx date ordered and his company name, and parts used. They were able to look it up. It says right on the website they have a 30 day no hassle satisfaction return policy. I could tell he was planning on keeping the money and telling me they wouldn't do the refund for some reason. Long story short he will not respond to my text messages and he has been refunded in full for the parts ,but the amount of the parts was 688.00 not the 1100.00 he lied and told me had in this job. This guy is a con artist. Stay away. I checked with BBB and he has an unresolved complaint and C rating. I really should have done my home work before hiring this guy. Also learned to get everything in writing as far as cash needed, Dates to complete, etc.I think this system could have been made to work but as his time in it approached 40 hours he just decided to give up rather than finish and spend more time as he said he would in the email estimate. I have nothing to show for over 3700.00. I will pursue other avenues to get my parts money back at least. This is blatant theft on the parts. The labor I have to chalk up as a loss and we never had an agreement before what would happen if he couldn't make it work, although at the time he quit on it he agreed to help me with some of the lost labor as stated earlier. The parts are mine though I paid for them and he is keeping the refund. This was a complete nightmare. The closet where all the wiring was got left the same way as when he started. Complete mess of wires everywhere. He even left a huge bag of trash. I wonder if he ever really had any intensions of finishing this job? Would have made sense if he cleaned up some of the wiring mess etc. first to make things easier for himself. Update:

texted me back today and his response when I told him that I knew Smarthomes refunded him because they told me they did, was basically "he was going to refund the parts (LOL) but now he's not going to because I have harassed him." I guess asking for what I paid for and is legally mine is harassment. Going to call BBB and check into criminal charges as well as civil suite. You can't keep the parts it's just theft.
"Had a problem with EVERY WINDOW ON THE CAR.
Installer left a half-full gatorade bottle of chew spit in the car.
They claimed it was my car's fault the tint job stunk.
Made them remove the bad tint & refund me my money and they left glue everywhere (roof, inside and outside of doors, upholstery, etc.) and streaks all over windows interior doors panels. It took me two hours to properly clean up the mess that was left.
What a waste of my TIME AND MONEY.
"Repair took approximately three hours for serviceman to locate loose wire. He had to remove dashboard to locate and fix the problem. There was no charge for this repair. This work was performed in an open carport in Tucson's heat of about 100 degree weather."
"They installed a keyless entry system in my 2002 Honda Civic. They have also done window tint for me on this Honda as well as two previous vehicles. They do excellent work for a fair price. I will continue to use them whenever I need auto customizing work done."
"They were very helpful in answering my questions, allowing me to choose the devices, features, and systems that fit my vehicle and lifestyle most.
Their service estimates were accurate and they even stayed late to fit my job in that day. They gave me frequent updates on their progress and called to clarify issues before going ahead with the work....more /> Their prices on systems and services beat other shops in the area.
I'm very pleased with the quality and functionality of my installed devices. I even called them weeks later to troubleshoot a problem with my car alarm. The staff member quickly walked me through the problem over the phone and allowed me to resolve it myself.
I would highly recommend their products and services and would use them again without hesitation.
"I have used

arrived early that morning, at my home, and began the install. Once he began the install and assessed the time involved he canceled his appointment for the afternoon. He did not change his price even though the install would take twice as long as he quoted. Since he came to my home the fact that it would take longer was of no concern. I worked from the comfort of my home office while he worked outside.

Once he began unpacking his tools I understood the amount of work involved in such an install. I connected his laptop to my Wi-Fi so he could program the bypass module and provided him an electrical outlet for his equipment. That was the extent of my involvement with the install. He managed the rest. I watched him work from time to time to see what was involved. When he took over an hour to unpack and prepare the contents of the alarm/remote start I knew I had made the right choice to not do this myself. There appeared to be over 30 wires that needed to be connected. Mr.
Philadelphia Car Alarm Systems Provider Name Locked
assured me that not all wires would be used, but still, it was overwhelming. He was calm, cool, and collected the entire time.

soldered all connections in the car. He could have easily used splices and taps to make the connections and most people would be none the wiser. By soldering the connections he assured continuity for the system and eliminated the possibility of the system disconnecting from one of the many connections that needed to be made. He took the time to show me how to use the system and answer any questions I may have. He informed me of some common issues that may occur with installing an alarm/remote start and if I experience any symptoms let him know.

That evening I did experience an issue with the alarm going off without being triggered. I contacted Mr.
Philadelphia Car Alarm Systems Provider Name Locked
, via text message, about the issue and he promptly responded he would be back the next day to correct the problem. The very next day he arrived early and diagnosed the issued and corrected the problem, free of charge. The system has not failed or experienced a false trigger since.

Philadelphia Car Alarm Systems Provider Name Locked
also warranties his work. As long as I own the car, if I have a problem, I can contact him and he will fix the problem. If the problem is with his install he will cover the cost of repair. Since I provided the system for install he will not warranty the parts. I completely understand this business tactic and in hindsight I wish I would have purchased the kit from him as well.

If I had to say one thing bad about the experience it would be that he is a perfectionist. He took his time and did the install correctly. This is good for me as the client and bad for him as the service provider. If he didn't take so much time he could do more installs in the same time. Good thing for me, the client, he took his time.

I will use him for future projects without fail. I understand quality when I see and I honestly feel like for the quality of work and the time involved, Mr.

is a steal of a deal.
"Car alarm was not audible, and didn't go off when someone tried to open the door or shake the car. Company refused to fix the problem, even though it was clearly stated when the car was brought in, that this was what was wanted and why we wanted the car alarm installed."
