"
did a great job and was extremely helpful from the start by giving me tips and recommendations of what I should be concerned about when looking" for a basketball system and comparing an in-ground system vs. a portable system. Without his advice, I would have definitely ended up with an inferior model at a much higher price. He does installations for most of the major sporting goods stores in town as well as operating his own business. He consulted with me on the best location for the hoop on my driveway and id a great job installing it.

"
was very easy to work with, from their initial responsiveness in providing an estimate through completion of both jobs. Their attention" to detail and to quality of workmanship was evident during the projects and in the end results.
's price also was lower than bids from competitors.

helped me with finishing a 203(k) after my first contractor abandoned the project.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
had to do a bunch of different projects to finish off the rehab. for those familiar with 203(k) getting the cash can be difficult. we also ran into problems with the historic district causing
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
to have to do extra work to find a suitable window. Aside from the windows,
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
built a new bathroom after I had gutted the old. As well he had to do installation of fixtures in two other bathrooms and some plumbing repair of the main water and drain lines. As well there were some other small projects that needed completion.

The service was scheduled for the morning of 07/18/14. During the week prior to this, we prepared our yard by grinding stumps, leveling the ground where the playset was to be placed and purchased a truckload of dirt to 'resurface' the area.
On the morning of the 18th, we received a call at 8:46 am from the techwho was calling from the home where the playset was located. He said he needed to wait on another person to help with the set due to it being an older model. The tech's phone number is (765) 278-1028. He went on to say on that same call that the "buried boards" are pretty "rotten"however he is pretty sure most sets have warranties on the wood. At no time did he mention possibly having to pay for partial service (i.e. paying to take the set down only) even though to him, an EXPERT, he could instantly see the set was in poor enough shape to question its ability to be moved. It seems as though that would have been the moment to say something to the effect, "sir, would you like for us to still take this down for you? It may be too rotten to reassemble and if we take it down and cannot move it, you will still be charged $350". At which point I would have obviously said, "NO." No logical person would pay $350 to have a playset removed from someone else's yard (UNLESS that playset was going to be moved to their own yard...)
I waited until the afternoon and when the tech didn't call me back, I called him for an update. This was his 2nd
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
to update me on the situation and give me the
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
to decide what to do. However his update was simply 'we are waiting on a different guy to come out and look at it.'
Finally at 3:54pm, a different tech (phone number 317-339-5663) called to advise me they had gone ahead and disassembled the playset and it was indeed too rotten to reassemble. He said they were getting ready to deliver what they had disassembled to my house. So, a pile of rotten wood?! I told them if it was rotten, then there was no reason to deliver to my house (obviously).

Thank goodness I said this as I am sure I would have been charged for that as well, even though, again, I was advised of any other charge if the main function of the job was not complete, nor did I ever get asked or proactively give a go ahead to anyone to breakdown the set.
I asked the second tech to make a list of parts that possibly needed repair and he did so, leaving it in the mailbox of the original owner. There were over 30 pieces on his list. The techs then piled the set in the owners yard and left. I called Rec Unlimited on Monday 7/21 to make sure I was not charged the $800 and was shocked to learn they charged me $350 for the
breakdown. I did not authorize this charge and it was never discussed with me. I spoke with Service Manager
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
and he advised me that he had no authority to waive the fee, even though I was never informed I would be charged this amount for this service. I explained the information above, repeatedly fighting through Mr.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
interruptions and accusations, only to be advised only the owner
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
can make such a decision and that she was unreachable at that time. Frustrated, but
understanding of travel needs, I waited two days until on 07/24 I was contacted by Mr.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
saying that he was approved to take $150 off of my $350 bill.
I told him I appreciated his efforts but that a $200 bill is still unsatisfactory considering I was never once asked if I would like the set broken down for $350 or that I may be charged separately if its indeed unable to be moved. I again tried to explain my situation to Mr.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
and he became noticeably upset, talking over me, raising his voice and telling me there was nothing else he could do. I stayed calm and never raised my voice and asked for the contact information of someone that does indeed have the power to rectify a situation such as this and he refused. While I understand it may be a directive not to give out the owner's phone/email, the approach that Mr.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
took was completely unprofessional, especially considering his title is Service Manager. He said the owner,
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
was out of town and unreachable until August 4th and as I continued to ask how I could reach her with my case, he kept repeatedly saying, "August 4th. August 4th. August 4th." I told him again I understand his people did work and they need paid, but asked him to understand the issue from my side - explaining again that we were charged $200 for nothing. Mr.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
said "this conversation is over.." and hung up on me.
I am so blown away by the handling of this whole situation that I had to get it all down in writing. I have also been in the service
industry for the last 10 years and could never dream of treating a customer in such a fashion. I currently now supposed to wait until August 4th in order to discuss this with
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
while in the mean time I am out $200, I have no swing set, and the owner of the swing set has a pile of junk stacked in their yard instead of a swing set that was at least visually appealing if not
still able to be played on. Now the owners of the swing set, long time and repeat customers of Rec Unlimited, have a unsightly heap in their yard.
It seems as though the techs, being the experts, had at least 2 opportunities to say something to the effect, "sir, would you like for us to still take this down for you? It may be too rotten to reassemble and if we take it down and cannot move it, you will still be charged $350". At which point I would have obviously said, "NO." No logical person would pay $350 to have a playset removed from someone else's yard (UNLESS that playset was going to be moved to their own yard...)
We hope Angie's List can help us resolve this.
Thank you for your time.

I emailed
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
at the beginning of June to inquire about putting in a basketball goal. He emailed me back the next day and said he'd get me an estimate ASAP. He sent me the estimate for a total cost for installation, goal and pads. We agreed on the price and he scheduled us for the following week. True to our scheduled time, he came and installed the cement base for the goal. He said it would take a week for the base to set and that he'd be back the following week to put in the goal. I originally asked for a goal with a 4' overhang but he recommended a slightly less expensive goal with a 3' overhang. He came the next week and installed the goal as promised. We are completely happy with the goal and couldn't be happier with the service we received. The goal is a much high quality construction that a similar "goalrilla" goal. It's made in Indiana, installed by an Indiana family owned business and came at a significant discount to it's "goalrilla" counterpart. I would and will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know considering the installation of a basketball goal.

I made an appointment with the installer, they came out and did not have the equipment they needed to install the backboard. They told me
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
had told them that I had an adjustable goal. They also told me this is not the first time he had done this, and they would honor the quote,, but we had to reschedule. I rescheduled the install to take place 3 days later.
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
called me 2 days before the rescheduled appointment, and told me I had given him the wrong information, thus he had given me an incorrect bid. I told him i gave him the correct information, because i verified it with Produnk, the manufacturer, before I spoke with him. He started to argue with me and in essence call me a liar. I told him just to give the increased price on the install, and he told no, I could find somebody else to install the backboard. I told him then internet was a very powerful tool to root out poor businessmen, such as him, and hung up. I ended up doing the install myself, using a ladder, a couple wrenches, and a couple friends. Total cost 0.00. I believe he chose not to do business with me because he did not want me talking to his installers, who told me he has made this mistake before, and had lost money on those install. In closing i see that
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
has 5 A ratings on Angie's List, this is the exact number of 5 star ratings he has at Podunk. Looks like another scam artist conning the system.

I called and asked
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
to come install a basketball goal that I had purchased myself. It was difficult to install because it needed to be mounted on the cedar siding above our garage door. He was out and installed the goal. I felt it was installed securely and safely. When I decided it wasn't quite level, he came out and corrected it at no charge. I would recommend
Philadelphia Inground Basketball Hoops Provider Name Locked
to others needing help installing a goal.

gave a verbal quote over the phone and indicated he would be able to come by to look at the job later in the week. He never showed and after repeated attempts to contact him, I finally managed to get him on the phone. He apologized for the delay and promised to do the work on Friday when he would be in the area. Another no-show and am now chasing him on the phone again. I appreciate that it's the busy season for this kind of work and that my job isn't the biggest job in the world, but getting blown off like this is disrespectful and unprofessional. I've wasted three weeks now waiting for this guy when I could have found another option. I now have a different company scheduled to come out and do the work. Very disappointing.

Rhino Court provided assessment, options, and estimates very quickly. Then the whole process of removal of old goal and installation of new one was done just as quickly. The choices offered matched our needs, and the work was thorough, neat, and non-intrusive.

He contacted me one business day later and set up the install for the same week. They came out on time as promised and did a wonderful job of installing the base in concrete. They returned two days later and installed the goal. I work nights and they were so quick and quiet that I didn't know they had been here. Absolute pleasure to deal with and I couldn't be happier.
