called at 8 AM to confirm appointment and to give an arrival time of 9 AM. He arrived punctually at 9 AM and immediately set about to solve my problems. He quickly located three small leaks at hose fittings which were corrected by tightening the clamps. He replaced a temperature sensor on the roof and determined there was a break in the wire between the control box and the temperature sensor at the pump. This kind of problem is often difficult to find and diagnose.

did it quickly and efficiently. He replace the control cable, bundled it with other cables and zip-tied it securely. When testing the system he noticed that the solar shutoff valve was over rotating in the off position. Our system is piped for a 90 degree rotation and the valve was rotating a full 180 degrees. He explained that this is the way they are programmed from the factory and the original installer never adjusted the stop position to be 90 degrees. In essence, the solar was never fully shut-off. This explains why on hot days our pool got very warm and I had to shut it off manually. It had operated in this fashion since installation 15 years ago? This one fix was worth the cost of the service call. The total cost was the quoted service call plus the cost of the one sensor.

"They were able to fix it under the 1 year warranty. They told me there was a price just to come and then I just paid for parts, which is exactly what happened. They were very conscious about not tracking the dirt into the home. They explained everything. They took credit card. They were great."

"It went very well. They worked hard and were very good with clean up. They gave a very detailed and complete estimate compared to the other roofers that we interviewed. The supervison on the project was also very high quality. They also added insulation into the attic, which brought the insulation rating up to R38 - and they coordinated that part of the project as well.

We have used them in the past for installation of solar skylights.

"I already have a pool service and didn't really want to have to shop around for someone to do solar heating for my pool. So i ask my pool service to find someone they could work with and have it installed.

worked great with my pool service. They were excellent and efficient. 6 solar panels installed on 2 different levels on the house. I didn't have any way to put them on the south side, so the recommended the panels to on the west side to they received the sun at the hottest time of the day. They connected the system to the existing pump/filter system. After they finished, they asked if i had any house paint left which i did. They painted the white pipes to match the color of the house to everything blends in very well. There was no trash left to clean up. Lastly even though I won't be working with the equipment as much as my pool service, they explained and showed me how everything worked."

"In quick summary, we paid $79.95 for what appears to be an attempted con. In detail, our solar system has had all warranty repairs and service done by Fun in the Sun (FS), who originally installed it, and there has been excellent service since coming under their current ownership about 5 years ago. We received a letter several months ago from the panel manufacturer that all warranty repairs now had to be done by

(CFS). When a panel developed a leak, we scheduled an appointment.
Orlando Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up, ipod in ear audible to me as we talked, I showed him pictures of the leaky panel and he asked for our warranty card. I said we never had a warranty card. He said he would go on the roof and get the date off the panels. He came down, said the panels were out of warranty since the date on them was 2000. I said I have plenty of documentation of installation in 2003. He then said the warranty was void because it wasn't plumbed properly when installed, that the manufacturer required pictures of the whole system for warranty repairs and they wouldn't honor the warranty due to this plumbing (pipes went higher than the system and no relief valve to allow water to escape when expanding with a freeze), and that his boss won't take a

on having to "eat a panel". He then said that 2 or 3 (the number changed during the discussion) panels were "beading", showing white spots, which was a sign that they were starting to leak and a major leak was imminent, that they would be leaking within a week and that all the panels would be bad within a year, so we needed to replace the entire system, which would cost $7227. I asked why we had no leaks after last winter when there were many more freezes, he had no answer. He also said the entire flat part of our roof where panels are was soft due to wood rot and was not safe and would need replacing. He wrote on the estimate that it was not safe, which I figure was possibly a set-up for a liability suit, but at the least was to try to put urgency on the situation to get us to commit. The system was originally installed by FS, but at that time it was owned by Bill Park, who currently owns CFS. When he owned FS, we had several warranty calls for plumbing leaks, each of which cost us a service fee, and inevitably there would be another leak a short time after they came out, we suspected perhaps they were loosening one thing while fixing the other, and when the plumbing warranty expired at 1 year and my husband started repairing pipe leaks himself, there were way fewer leaks. Since FS came under its current ownership, we have had excellent service. I asked
Orlando Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
, since the system was installed by the company owned by Bill Park at the time and he says it was plumbed wrong on installation, would there be some consideration for that in the price, he said he would check with the boss and call back. He called back a couple hours later and said that they would do it for half price, $3600, which actually made us more suspicious. Once they replace the system we would have to use them for warranty repairs for years and possibly deal with the problems of before, so it's worth it for them to discount it up front. Shortly after that he called again and asked if we wanted him to come out the next day and rip down the panels so that we could get the roof fixed, my husband said "no". The next morning my husband and I went on the roof, couldn't see anything that was like this "beading" he described, and the roof was solid. Where the big, flat shingles connect to the sloping part of the roof they aren't flush with the wood so it feels soft, but that is only at the edges of a large flat area and is obvious by looking at it -
Orlando Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
said the entire flat part of the roof was rotted and soft. Just to make sure, my husband went in the attic and the wood is fine, no signs of water damage or intrusion. Since CFS wasn't going to honor the warranty and we were suspicious about the entire situation, we called FS who came out and plugged the leak, no new panel need, and they also inspected the system and said it was fine. The charge was only the minimal service charge, $80. If you have to use
Orlando Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
for a warranty repair and they say you need any other work done or that your system is going bad, do not commit to anything without getting a second opinion.

"He did the work for about half of what others quoted. He isn?t the best on the phone and you have to be persistent in calling him but the work he does is wonderful. Once he starts the project, he follows it through to completion even to ensure I received government rebates. He also worked with my local utility companies to get me the carbon credit and net metering He was even able to work in conjunction with my roofing company to ensure everything was done correctly. He is also a very honest person; he will walk away from money just to ensure you receive the work that is to your benefit. "

"I first called an electrician,
Orlando Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
Electric to connect my new controller as rats had eaten the wiring in the old fiber star unit. the electricians said it was too complicated even though they had repaired it once in the past and had said they would service it again if necessary. The electrician who had serviced it the first time had been replaced by someone less talented. At any rate, I then asked my pool service to remove the old one and install the new one and 4 months later they had still not done it. Since I had used
Orlando Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
before for solar panels I decided to ask them about it. They installed it within a week, no problems. I will call them for all of my pool needs in the future.

"I was very pleased. During the installation, they were very professional and cleaned up as they progressed. They disposed of my large gas water heater and installed the new unit, which with the solar has a larger capacity. Everything was completed in one single day and has worked well ever since. The system is very durable and basically does not require any routine maintenence. Best of all, I received all my credits from local and federal programs."
