was very prompt in answering his calls, emails and showing up on time. I received bids from 5 different companies and his price was one of the lowest. I felt he was abrasive with me in answering my questions though. There were ...more a couple of different routes I could go as far as what kind of pool I could have installed. Because he does all 3 types, I wanted his opinion on them. He seemed annoyed by some of my questions and wouldn't explain why I should or shouldn't go with certain options. What's worse is that he kept changing his answers as to what I should get. I am a kind person but I almost told him to leave my home because of how he was talking to me. As the customer, it's our responsibility to ask questions to ensure we get the product we have in mind. As a business owner, it's his responsibility to answer the questions of the customer without talking down to them or treating them like they're a nuisance. I gave him my budget and the 3 things I wanted in my pool. At our consult he kept telling me no, no no, without telling me what I can cut out in order to have that. After a week of me doing more research, I asked him to send me an estimate and to include my must-have's in it. Although he sent me one within a day or two and his price was fair, I felt more comfortable going with a company who I could have an easier conversation with. It's a huge investment of your time and money and you should do business with people who you think you can work with for 2-3 months. I knew if there were any hiccups along the process, which there always are, I wouldn't have felt comfortable talking with him about it. Had he given me more information without being so confrontational, I wouldn't have hesitated to hire him. "

"Very good quality. Price was a little higher than available on the internet for the pool cleaner. Labor was fair. Overall I am very happy with
and will use them for all my pool needs.

Orlando Pool Cleaners Reviews
"We recently bought a house and were having problems keeping chlorine in the pool. A technician came out and went over our pool pump set up. He tested our water for quite a few different chemicals. He fixed the pump and also explained what I needed to do to keep the pool chemicals balanced. He was very friendly and professional. We will use them again.
Pools was very disappointing. Although they came highly recommended, we found their service, quality, and communication to be exceedingly poor. If you are considering having work done on your pool, we strongly suggest that you choose a company other than
Pools. If you are still considering ...more them, read on.
When we sought to refinish our pool, we asked several reputable pool maintenance companies in
for their recommendations.
Pools came highly recommended. Their cost was higher than our other two bids, but they assured us that the work could be done in "12-14 days" and that it would be completed well in advance of our daughter's high school graduation which was three months away. We reassured ourselves that "you get what you pay for" and that the job would be done right. Afterall, they had been highly recommended by a pool maintenance company that we had trusted for years (if only we had checked Angie's List first!).
The pool has just been completed after almost 60 days. Some of the work will need to be redone at our expense in the future as we are tired of dealing with
Pools and they do not seem to be interested in either doing a job well or communicating with customers. While some of the numerous
employees we encountered over the past two months were helpful, the majority provided us with one excuse after another or simply shrugged their shoulders and walked away when we asked questions. We were made frequent promises that were never kept. Numerous phone calls and text messages to the
Poolss leadership were never returned. When we could get someone on the phone and we asked what was taking so long, we were made to feel that it was our fault ("your pool is too deep"). At one point Barb told us not to call the office ("we can't get good staff - call me on my cellphone instead"). She rarely responded and finally told us not to call her, but to call the office if we needed help. We ultimately found the owner's name through the Better Business Bureau.
also made us feel that their delays were our fault. He would not accept responsibility for the job his employees were (or were not) doing. He could not answer our questions and clearly didn't know the job despite the staff telling us that he made all of the decisions. He also stated that they had had trouble with their employees. In short, everyone at
Pools seemed to point fingers at and blame each other for any problems. They unnecessarily hacked down a hedge alongside the pool without asking and poured excess pool plaster on our lawn and flower beds. Tiles were misplaced and ultimately fixed weeks later (after we pointed them out), but with the wrong color of plaster. One of the pool inlets was clogged with plaster which we had to remove ourselves as
Pools refused to investigate it ("it must have been blocked before"). Despite their reassurances when we signed the contract that
Pools would do the initial balancing of the chemicals, they refused to do so stating that it was "our responsibility".
Needless to say, the pool was dirty with tadpoles growing in it for our daughter's graduation party. With a house full of family and guests from around the country, it was both embarrassing and frustrating. In retrospect, we did not get what we paid for and should have chosen a different company to refinish our pool.
As a contrasting example of excellent service, our air conditioner broke this past month. A local company provided us with an estimate, installed a loaner air conditioner that same day, called us every few days to let us know when the new unit would arrive, called us to let us know it had arrived and to schedule installation, installed the new unit and even repainted the air handler closet, filled out the rebate paperwork for us, and came by several days later to inspect the work and teach us how to use the new system. This level of service and communication is above and beyond what we would have expected, but has earned this company a life-long customer.
Pools clearly needs to go back to customer service school!
We have never written such a scathing review of a company and regret having to do so. We have been extremely frustrated with
Pools' total lack of service, communication, lack of attention to detail, and poor quality. We would highly recommend that you look to other firms for your pool resurfacing needs.
"Premier built my pool during the remodeling of my current home. It was a seamless experience. They were able to schedule in conjunction with my home's contractor. The timing and schedules were met and the product is functioning as well today as it did in 2008. The quality is unmatched. I have witnessed friends succumb to other pool company's ...more lower prices; only to be disappointed by sub-par work and broken promises. My experience with
was terrific. I would recommend anyone to
. They treated me like family from the consultation to the final walk through I felt special. They made it clear to me that this was a luxury item and that I was a VIP to them. In the end, it was more than apparent they were more than sincere. "
to inquire about my salt cell light being on red and the salt level in the pool was with in the operational zone. He asked me a few questions and said he would have his tech come and look at it. Later on that same day his tech was at my house and tested and replace my sale cell and also advised me that pump was sounding ...more
than normal and it would have to be replaced. The tech said he would let
know about the pump and
would probably call me.
The next day the same tech came back to my house and changed the pump.
Both of the parts were replace free of charge.... I was advised that they were still under warranty....

"The entire pool and attached spa was resurfaced with a quartz-type finish. Everything was hand troweled. We had a choice of colors. The entire job only took two days. The people who came to do the re-surfacing were very professional and knowledgeable. The supervisor of the men gave us instructions on how to take care of the finish. After the pool ...more was re-filled, the owner of the company came to make sure everything had been handled properly and we were satisfied. He also went over all the care instructions with us and told us if we had any problem whatsoever, to give him a call. The response time when we called the company during this process was fast. This company has been in service for several years, has an A+ rating with the BBB. "
"Horrible. The job took almost 3 months when they quoted me 2 weeks
. Communication and attention to detail was completely absent. The project manager didn't know what was going on and things were happening without his knowledge. They had to re-do the pavers 3 times since they did not pay attention to the work order and ...more what was written down and what pattern I wanted. And once they did, a few of the pavers sunk way down after one rainfall.
They also destroyed my front yard as they put all the pavers and other materials on the grass and did not even ask where I would like them to put it. I had to chase them down to find out what was going on and when they would be back to finish the job.
Overall horrible experience and I would Highly recommend Anyone to find someone else. Anyone else. "
"HORRIBLE!!! I paid the down payment in early December with the agreement they would start the project on the week January 7th. The project manager did not show up to the property until January 14th. I made sure he understood we wanted round edges, which were also in their design and 3D rendition we were shown. They emptied the pool and did the tile ...more over the course of the following two weeks. Then for about two weeks nothing, so I called/emailed and they finally sent the deck guy and the plumber. Which again over the span of a week or so were done and then again nothing for two more week, until I called and emailed again. The finally got the pavers in but not much for like another week. Finally they listen to our concerns on the rounded edges and said that the tile I selected did not work for rounded edges and that the rendition was for "reference" only. At this point one knows you are not getting the pool you are paying for and I was so fed up with them that I just wanted them to finish. Well out of the blue on a Saturday, the pool plaster guys showed up, it would of been professional for them to let us know that they were
up our Saturday.
Another consistent theme with this company was folks showed up to do work late in the day, the plumber for example did his work way into the night for two straight nights and the paver guys started at 5:30PM and left around 8:30PM or so. It makes you wonder what
issues there are since during install these guys could not see very well what they were doing.
In all the project was over 3 month and they initially quoted that in a worst case it would be 3 weeks. I feel the only way they even completed the project was because I had to take over the project management roll. I can not say enough bad things about the project manager they assigned to us, I just will not be too specific. I will say that he did capped off the sprinklers but never covered the hole he made and left the project with this hole that I had to come and fill in. He also wanted to install the spa faceplates using silicone, who does that and calls themselves professional with 30 years in the pool industry. I even spoke to the owner and he blamed me for loosing the old faceplates and said that in the contract it even says they may have to use the old faceplates but they threw them away or lost them.
The designer I feel had the best of intentions but the company then pushed him to say things like "the rendition is for reference only". I remember even telling them they needed three actuator for the automation and they insisted they could do it with two which in the end proved me right, they had to install the third one at a later date. I knew this because I had other companies quote us this project. While
was certainly not the cheapest we were initially under the impression they were the best and most professional. In the end they just did not deliver, I mean in the steps to the spa under the tile they calked it with regular window calking and never did their final clean up either.
I would NEVER recommend this company and feel that their internal communication and quality control is so poor that it makes them incompetent to finish even a
project like ours was. We ended with the pool
struggled to deliver versus the one we wanted, we were shown, paid for., and really wanted. If you show a customer a 3D rendition of their new backyard you are under the moral obligation to deliver in my book. "
