Orlando Lawn Aeration Reviews

"Twice during my time with
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
they let my yard go to weeds. The first, I literally had the massive "side of the road" weeds growing in my yard, and large sections of my yard dead. After my multiple complaints, they said that it was because they didn't know that was part of my yard, and hadn't been treating it. Really?
Then, it went well for a while. They re-sodded my yard, and maintained it. Then, I started getting the crabgrass. Of course, it's never their fault. I cut it too low. I showed them my mower. Oh, I watered too little. I showed them my sprinkler system, now I watered too much (true, they said both on the same visit).
After multiple complaints, I stopped paying the bill. That got them to respond. I told them that they had not performed their portion of the contract, and accordingly, I didn't owe them. They came out and re-sodded part of the yard, but not all of it. They didn't see the other large dead areas, apparently. But, I paid my bill and cancelled all services.
Or so I thought. They continued to bill me for pest control. I called them and told them that I had cancelled. The answer I got? "You cancelled lawn. You didn't cancel pest. We're a different office". I informed her that I fired

, and if they don't talk to each other, that's not my problem. I told her that if they performed a pest service, they did it for free, because I had no service agreement with them. They finally stopped calling me on it.
My yard never looked good with

, except for the month after they re-sodded it.
"They did a good job in the beginning but for the last 2 years of treating my lawn for a total of about 7 years, I saw my lawn rapidly declining. I went from one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood to one of the worst. I also tried their landscape plant maintenance but they did not take care of my biggest concern, which was my

that had asian cycad scale, even though they assured me they could get rid of it. Before I cancelled service, I called and told them of my concern but nothing changed. The last straw was when a salesman for Tru-Green came to my door to try to sell me service because my yard looked so bad. You would think when the salesman was given a neighborhood to solicit, they would at least cross off the customers they already have! When he found out I was a customer, he said he would let someone know at the office that a tech needed to get out to my house but that never happened so I cancelled. AFTER I cancelled, at least a dozen times they called my cell phone wanting to know what happened and how they could get be back. I patently explained it 5 times and that I already hired another company I also asked them not to bother be anymore but they continued to call but I stopped answering the calls. Too little, too late.

checked the lawn and then provided an estimate for his services. He did inform us that because of the condition, it would take some time to get the lawn healthy. He calls at least the day prior to the services being performed, on approximately the same day each month. He arrives promptly and does the

"We asked
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
to come do an estimate for our front and back yard area that had been over run with weeds due to our home being purchased as a short sale. We anticipated that they would want to resod the entire area due to the state of disrepair it was in, however the rep was very helpful in explaining the type of weeds we were looking at and what they could do to eliminate them and hopefully revitalize the existing grass. He was honest with us about the possibility of needing some sod should their plan of attach not work."
"I have used
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
for about 5 months now on my newly soded zoysia lawn. They assured me that because they are getting it from the beginning, they would keep weeds out and can

crabgrass. I have heard every excuse in the book at this point. They say I water too much, I don't water enough, too much rain, mowing too short, mowing too high. All they blame is on me. I kept pointing out areas of crabgrass that were forming. They said they would treat it, but it only got worse. Weeds are forming everywhere and they cannot keep it under control. They are supposed to use a different fertilizer on Zoysia, but I get a different tech every time and they are not familiar with using a different blend of fertilizer. I am constantly having to call them to come back out and reservice the weeds, but they are double billing me. Free service calls have turned into charges. They will schedule the service call within a week to ten days before my scheduled service, and then bill me early. I have been overcharged for two months at this point, with only 5 months of service. I brought this to their attention and still have not gotten a call back form the General Manager. They are uprofessional and too big to give good care and service. I am going to drop them and go with a smaller company that focuses on taking pride in my lawn."
"Maintain Landscaping began taking care of our property in April, and we have been very satisfied with their weekly service, the service of the subcontractor they used to work on our old and cranky irrigation system, and the depth and breadth of their knowledge of landscape plants. They go above and beyond what one would expect from a landscaping service. All the people who come here are professional, and communicating with them is easy and productive. They have complied with all of our particular requests, and leave weekly and monthly reports of the work they have done and the condition of our landscaping."
" I called Active Environmental to give me an estimate on providing weekl laen service and landscaping. The yard had deteriorated under the previous owners.
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
met me at my house and we discussed what IU was looking for and provided me with a very professional proposal the next day. The proposal included: weekly mowing, edging, and pruning of all the trees and shrubs, including four palm trees.

I asked
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
to come back a week later to discuss my alternatives on how to restore the yard back to its former
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
. This was not going to be an easy task since the yard had not been watered for over a year and I didn't want to re-sod 8,000 sqft. of yard if I can avoid it. He gave me a plan that he felt would restore most of the yard if not all of it. The estimate was rediculusly inexpensive when compared to re-sodding. Bottom-line, I have nothing to

and a lot to gain by his plan and I can always re-sod the areas that are so weed bound that nothing may grow.
"While the inspector appeared to be quite professional and thorough, in retrospect he missed noting the very substantial wood rot in the second floor balony off the master bedroom, which was easily visible from ground level. For this reason, I felt it necessary to downgrade the overall inspection."
"Half way through the summer noticed that our lawn had weeds and some other concerns. Lawns that used a different national company did not have the same problems, swiitch (paid less) and problems were solved. For pest control they had to be called to be reminded to come out, after two additional calls someone finally showed up. We sold the house 1/2 way through the year, we paid for the year and
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
would not refund any of the unused amount, and then to top it off they charged the new owners 95.00 extra to continue our service. Be forwarned, do not sign a contract with them !
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
was great, unfortunately they've been bought out by
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
. My issues with
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
: 1.
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
was checking the lawn for fleas with every quarterly service.
Orlando Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
did not, so we didn't realize we had fleas until the yard was overrun and infected the dog (who brought them into the house). 2. When the fleas got into the house, they did honor the contract to provide maintenance pest control for free. However, they have switched chemicals. This means that they do the same crappy baseboard sweep that the cheaper companies do. It also means that you have to leave the pest control person alone in your house for 2-4 hours while they treat the house, a fact that they neglected to mention. So we had to clear out of our own house for hours with no notice on the one day we had off together to do housework. 3. When I told them I didn't want to renew my contract, I got a phone call each day from the manager for about 6 weeks, to 'talk about what it was I was unhappy with" when I had already made clear multiple times it was because I don't like the new chemicals. They even went so far as to do our first yard service on the new contract. I paid for that service, cancelled in writing, and asked them never to call me again back in August. Got a call about a week ago from them to "talk about what I was unhappy with" again. Asked him to never call me again, we'll see if it sticks this time."
