I've had the services for years. I've upgraded to the lighting and HD services in February this year. I've had numerous techs come out (most of them EXTREMELY rude) and say "it's not the box it's _______". Well, it's always the box. They give you equipment that's been beat up for years and doesn't work properly and then you have to call them numerous times to have them tell you it's not the equipment. every single day. I've had four techs come out in the past 6 months. I've called them at least twice that. It never gets fixed. I work from home and run a business on the side. How can I do any of that when I can't access the Internet?
I would not recommend brighthouse to anyone who actually has to do serious work on the Internet and have guaranteed connectivity at all times.

per month. Their customer service is bad if not non-existent. When I called for support they told me to go onto their website to get help. But their website is very hard to navigate. When I tried to cancel my services with them they tried everything they could to keep me a customer. When I told them I wanted to cancel they told me that I could keep it another month for free, however they still charged me. I went online again and contacted them about still being charged and they told me they would refund me the money but never did. I ended up having to go through my bank to cancel the service. I would not use them again.

I try really hard to avoid calling them out here because it is always a hassle. They are never here at a decent time. I always hear "we will be there between 9 AM and 5 PM". They leave the neighborhood cable wires laying all over the ground and on the fences, and even though I have called about it they do nothing. I only stay with them because I do not have another option and have a contract.

I have been with Brighthouse for my Internet and Cable for a long time now. The customer service though has always been pleasant. The pricing has always been of higher price if you go for individual product. Unless you go for their combo product it doesn't make financial sense to use their internet service alone. Still they come the cheapest in Central Florida if you want a broadband connection alone without the combo these service providers give.

After installation of the actual cable box, the installer informed us that the box was only applicable to that one particular TV. That was totallly contrary to what the sales person had told us. I had specifically asked if that one cable box would receive all cable channels on all 4 of our TVs. The answer was a resounding "Yes". I did not question it any further. After all, we were already receiving all of our desired cable channels from Brighthoue on all 4 TVs, for less money!!! As a result, we cancelled our installation after the installer had already spent 2 1/2 hours+ at our home. He was very professional. It turned out that there were other inconsistencies in the sales presentation. The one that troubled us the most was that we were told that customer service was located in the United States, administered by English speaking people. Not true. This was a totally frustrating and unacceptable experience.

Customer service is horrific. It takes FOREVER to actually get ahold of someone and when you do—they are NOT local and it’s
pretty much impossible to get anything done without sending a technician out…which of course there is a service call fee attached to it. I have had to spend more time on hold and being transferred around dealing with this company than any other company I have ever dealt with.
Just when I think I FINALLY resolved one issue with their services something else happens. First it was the cable box, then it was the phone line, then it was an issue with the WI-FI connection, then my DVR would record… the problem list is ENDLESS. And every time I call I have to repeat ALL my information OVER and OVER again. What I

via their system then once you reach an actual person they ask you the SAME exact questions again..??? Seem redundant and absolutely inefficient.
OVERALL—VERY unhappy with this service. Nothing seems to get resolved and of course THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER FEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as my internet and cable provider for about 8 years. They have always provided good service. I have had very few outages in that time, and they have been very prompt when coming by for service. No more endless wasted time -- time waiting on a cable guy like I remember from long ago and no wasted time on hold trying to reach a live operator. I recently had a box fail and I was able to go the office and exchange it. I was in and out in a few minutes and my cable is working again. Customer service has always been GREAT. When I call it’s generally easy to speak to an actual LIVE AND LOCAL PERSON. The company whom I have to deal with now has an out of town call center and trying to speak to someone is about as difficult as trying to reach the President of the US. I now have a new found appreciation to Brighthouse.
