Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his associate
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
installed a solid wood door and a sidelight in to the entrance to the dining room turned study/home office of my home. The original function of the room was as a
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
area so the opening was not shaped to accommodate a door of any normal size. So either the opening had to be closed in around the door as some contractors suggested or a sidelight could be added to it as others suggested but either way the opening was not the right size so framing had to be done.
I decided quite quickly that
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
was my guy after he came out and did an estimate on March 26th. During this time he did the estimate and pointed out some other
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
areas of my home that needed attention. He did not do it in a way to garner more business, as a matter of fact he never suggested he could do it or suggest anyone who could he just knew it needed attention and told me about it. Thank you
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
.
The estimate. Well I think originally we had a misunderstanding of the scope of work and it probably stemmed from me not knowing what exactly I wanted. In the end, there was a lot of work done, squaring the opening, tearing out and re-framing a wall, framing the door, hanging the door, framing in the side light, patching drywall and painting. Did I mention that it was not possible to find a door and matching sidelight from a local source?
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
had to stain all of the wood, frame, door, sidelight and trim to all make a reasonable match. He could not guarantee an exact match because each part was a different wood species and he forgot his magic wand. The price I paid was fair or more than fair for 2 guys and about 3 days of work and over a weekend as well.
So his skill and professionalism are unquestionable.
As for character, he is a nice guy as demonstrated by the initial visit and while the work was being done. You don't always find skill and a good attitude to go with it. Even more so, before he even knew for sure he was going to do the job he put up with my incessant texting (there were over 70 I counted).
So all went well, I like the door and the quality. Here it is 7 months later and I am not unhappy with a bit of it.
Thanks

"This job exceeded my expectations from start to finish.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
White was excellent to work with and was very responsive by phone, text and email. He gave me realistic advice and recommendations that made the job go more smoothly. The worksite was kept neat and clean aside from normal spots of paint wash residue here and there. The price was very fair and came with options to lower costs by doing the job all at once. But just to repeat, where this company really shines is in the communications. I could not have asked for more in this respect.
I doubt I will ever bother using another painter. Next time I will just call
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
White and be done with it.

"Job went surprisingly well, considering that a lot of things were going on at once in the two main bedrooms in the house.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
had to scramble to meet the timetable he set, but he pulled it off with only a small punch list at the end. I was particularly happy with the bookcases he made.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
worked from a contract price, not an estimate. The price you see is the price you get.

"Mr.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
arrived on time. He was able to add a new surface and painted our badly damaged drywall. It was a 3 day process. First day he added a surface that would make the wall smooth. Second day he sprayed the wall with a texture to match the other walls. Third day he painted the 2 wall that he had worked on.
During the whole process he made sure that everything was covered so that no dust would get into unwanted areas of the room and closet.
He cleaned his work area every day.
Mr.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
was kind, courteous and respectful of the fact that we were working people.
The walls that he worked on look magnificent. The walls look like they were never damaged. We couldn't be happier with his craftsmanship and detail to the rest of the room. i would use his services again if i needed to. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends.

"Work was done on a condo, that was a converted apartment complex, originally built in 1972.
It had years of apartment wear and tear, on top of poor quality
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
work when built 40+ years ago. Then electricians cut out dozens of pieces of wall board, when rewiring unit. The result was a wreck.
Every wall and ceiling in the unit had to be redone, but it now looks brand new. The quality of the work is top-notch The walls, ceilings, and seams are more smooth and even, that when they were originally built.
Office staff, owner, and craftsmen who did the work were all nice and professional, and easy to communicate with.

"I scheduled an appointment last Monday(10/28/13) for the following day and when the time had passed I called to see where he was or if he was coming.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
said for me to get my other estimates and then he'd talk to me I asked him how soon he could make it and he said he was on the other side of town and he had a new girl in the office. I told him I was wanting an in-person estimate and that based on his web site his company was at the top of my list so far. His reponse was- find someone else as he was not going to get in a battle over pricing and for me to take my business elsewhere. I found his whole attitude rude. I had given him no reason to be that way. He hung up. I thought about it for a bit and then tried to call another listed number for DunRite hoping to get a manager or owner because the original gentleman(before
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
) I had talked to was very pleasant.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
answered again and when I recognized his voice I said never mind. He then called me back and tore into me on the phone again saying my appointment was for the next day and telling me he'd been in this business for so long etc etc etc and never to call back.

PS. The receptionist who originally made my appointment was very pleasant.

(I have tried to give the details of my experience the best as I recall)

came on short notice to give an estimate which was very reasonable, but the reason I chose him was he sounded very confident and knowledgable of this type of work because that is all he does. He promised an excellent job in a timely manner. He delivered.
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
also was the only one who recommended that we paint the pre-painted walls with flat paint before spraying in order to get good adhesion of the texture.

We scraped all popcorn off ceilings ourselves and made the repairs to all the walls as necessary so all
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
had to do was spray and knockdown. That being said
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew came and prepped, sprayed and textured it all quickly and efficiently and cleaned up what was necessary as I had them leave some of the paper taped up for the painting I had to do. I was more than pleased with this company and would recommend HIGHLY for this kind of work. My walls look like well done new construction.:)

"I first had called about a week earlier just to talk over a few things- one of them being if the worker would be an employee of the business or if they were subbing out the work. I was
Orlando Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
to believe all work was done by employees. When the gentle man came to the house and looked over the job he quoted $1000 and indicated he only got half and the company got the other half so I assume thats why his bid was so high. I found a contractor who did only texturing for his business and at a much better price.
