Contracting reviews in Orlando

They did an amazing job. My house only had a small main bathroom with no much space or storage. They extended the bathroom area by removing a closet and making that space part of the bathroom. They stripped down the entire bathroom to the bare bones; replaced all the polybutylene with up to code PVC. Rewired all the electrical and even added an extra electrical box. I also didn't have a ventilation fan before and they added one which was fantastic, since all the steam from taking a hot shower doesn't collect on the walls and mirror anymore. They re-did everything with mold resistant drywalls and concrete boards around the shower area. Every item in the bathroom was replaced brand new; the tub, the toilet, the counter, the lighting, the floors, and the 40 year old window. The shower area was tiled with a modern look and pattern. I love the shelving in the shower; it added storage space I didn't have before. The cabinet has a super modern look and also provides a lot of storage space I didn't use to have. Overall, compared to my old bathroom it is a compete 360. My bathroom now is super spacious, has a lot of storage space, and looks modern and chic.
That said, what impressed me the most was their professionalism and punctuality. I've heard so many times about contractors who never show up on time or take longer than what they originally agreed on but not these guys. They were here on time every time. They also kept me up to date with their work. Walking me and showing me what they were working on and if there were any issues they made sure to explain the options and give solutions. They were very confident in what they were doing and very knowledgeable. I was also surprised in how detailed they were; the job was done with very high quality and I definitely was impressed and happy with the final job. No renovation is cheap but they weren't that expensive either compared to other contractors. For the quality they provided, I feel I came out with a bargain. I will definitely recommend them and without a doubt I will call them for any future re-modeling jobs.

It went well,
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
showed up on time to do the estimate and his associate was punctual when he came to install the new door. There were some issues with the new door and
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
came out (again, when he said he would) and fixed everything up to our liking.

Very professional, very good attention to detail. Showed up on time, all material and finishes were high quality.
They were very particular to ensure that the french doors were identical to the original. We have had work like this done in the past, but unlike the prior contractor, they worked until the door fit perfectly with the quirks of the conditions of a house built in the 1920s.

The owner is very cordial and speaks knowledgeably of the work that is to be done. However, follow through is terrible. Most of what was done required repeated requests to redo the work or was redone by another contractor. The front door is an ornate wood door from the 60s and I requested it be repaired/refinished. His employee removed the rotten portions of the door and filled it in with white wood putty (on a brown door) and screwed in a kick plate. It looks terrible, but was done by the time I saw it. The back door was replaced, but the jam is a mess. Fortunately you can only see it when the door is open. The exterior painting needed to be touched up three times after I was told it was done. Nothing was taped off and the painter was clearly inexperienced. Once the gutters were installed, water would pour down between the roof and the gutter instead of going into the gutter. He tried to fix it once, but it kept happening so we had another contractor redo the gutters entirely. The attic fan installation seems to have gone fine as we don't see any leaks, but I need to go up there to make sure they're actually running. The trellis needed to have some rotten wood replaced and be painted. Much of the new wood has warped since installation and the paint is so thin there are already signs of water intrusion. Very nice guy, but we would never use him again.

We are having our house painted and we had some rotten wood that needed replacing.

replaced wood in several places around the house and garage with new pvc lumber and also replaced the framing around a door. Great work as usual!

We joined Angies's List to find new contractors and craftspeople not afraid of old houses and the challenges they present to help us build a period-correct two car garage with studio/office above. While this project was still developing, we bought another old bungalow to renovate that had been neglected and had bad updates for 97 years. While in the discovery phase of what the house needed, it was determined the bathrooms needed to be gutted completely to replumb and rewire. We had hoped to save some of the original flooring and tile, but there was too much rotten framing and wood underneath from leaking plumbing and termites. The house also needed to have some old framing replaced/restored back to its original positioning from previous remuddling/additions.
We researched Bath Remodelers/Handymen and many were months out if they could even give us an estimate. We needed someone to help us get the bathrooms and closets reframed right away so we could stay on track for the plumbers. We called
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
for an estimate and made an appointment for the next day.
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was genuinely excited to come out and look at the old house and what we needed to keep us on track. We agreed on a price for him to come out for a few days that he had free between larger projects.
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was on time (early usually), honest, fair, and professional. Most importantly, he was not afraid to dive in where others feared to tread.
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was always enthusiastic and we could barely keep up with him at times. He did what we needed fast, but still with attention to the details we needed addressed.

We love old houses and the character and soul they have over new houses. Having said that, it is hard to find skilled contractors willing to do the work, for a reasonable price.
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was all of those things and he helped us immensely. We hope to use him and his skills for more of the project when we are further along and ready. When he noticed we shared a love for plants and landscaping, he brought us some herbs he had propagated from his garden.

The whole thing went very well.

's a busy guy and it took a while to get him to my house, but once he was able to make it, he was great. He arrived exactly on time and was able to fix the door frame, which some other repairmen had told me was not worth the effort. They told me I should just replace the entire door and frame.
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
managed to fix the frame, and he did a very good job of it. He paid a lot of attention to details and made sure it was fixed with high quality. I'm really glad I hired him and I would definitely hire him again or recommend him.

I bought most of the material as per his suggestions (the plywood, the pine planks and the wrapping material).
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
is an early riser and he showed up on time, as promised. He brought all his tools and set up shop on my driveway. He started with the wall and started attaching the plywood from top to bottom. When he had gone half way, he then went to the wood planks on the ceiling. Then he started with wrapping the support beams and finished the plywood.
Orlando General Contractors Provider Name Locked
is very detail oriented. He installed some metal guards behind the plywood to prevent the stucco guys from nailing into my electrical cable. And his eye for great work shines when you look at the wrapped beams: he cut the edges at an angle, which made the new wrapped poles look like a built-in, factory install. The front entrance now 'pops’! You really need to look at the 'before and after pictures' below to appreciate this man’s craftsmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is an honest, hardworking, talented and affordable professional.

It all went well; we had to plane down the framing on the windows soon after the work was done, but we did
not inform or call Handyman.
All the other work was done good and punctually.
