" Excellent. Received repair of one lens, two film cameras, one digital camera, and one slide projector, in the last three years. Being out of date equipment," I had no other recourse, but to bring them to for repair. I was glad I did. Although the facility was small, I felt competent that the staff knew what they were doing. very professional. Each item was repaired to my satisfaction and the work was performed in a mostly reasonable time frame. I am very happy with the results of each repair. I was also told that is one of the last, if not THE last in-house camera repair facilities in the state of Ohio .So glad I found this place.

Camera Repair reviews in Orlando

I initially went to the local Best Buy in Sterling, VA who sent the camera out to be inspected and ideally repaired. In fairness to Best Buy, no promises were made that the camera could be fixed. The Best Buy contractor could not fix the camera. I then called the folks working for . A lady stated that Mr. ...More often is successful locating parts (one reason the camera could not be fixed) for older cameras such as mine (even though it was only 4-5 years old). I was hesitant to mail the camera to Indiana but I liked my Powershot 5x150 IS (that I had originally purchased at Best Buy). Mr. /his staff were able to locate parts and repair the camera timely.
I learned about Mr. / through Angie's List. His staff is professional, friendly and the camera is working well.
I would say the price was between excellent and good. It was within the estimate.

On 07/09/15 I took my camera lens to for a repair estimate.
I told them that I was leaving on a
trip in a month and I wanted to know if it would be worth it to repair the lens
or if it would be better to buy a new one to take on my trip. I said I
wasn't interested in paying over $200.00 for the repair.
...More /> The person at the counter said that
it would be $90.00 to have the tech look at it, and if it was an easy repair
then that should take care of it. If they had to replace a part then
they would call me with an estimate for additional parts and labor.
$90.00 seemed expensive but I agreed
to have the tech look at it. I was given an estimate of one week for a
I paid a $40.00 deposit.
After one week I had not heard
anything from them, so my wife called to check on the status. They said
the tech had not had a to look at it yet.
I called back the following week (now 2 weeks later) and asked about the
progress. Again, I was told that the tech had not looked at
it. I told the person on the phone that I didn't want to get a call a few
days before my trip with them telling me that the lens is not done, or they had
to order a part and it won't be ready. He assured me that he would be in
touch soon and let me know what the progress was. I asked if I cancelled
now before the tech looked at it would I get my deposit back he said he did not
My wife called back one week later (now the 3rd week), and told them that the
lens has to be done by 07/29/15 to take on our family vacation. She was
told that they would rush the repair to meet our deadline, because even at this
point no one had looked at the lens.
On 07/27/2015 my wife was told that
the lens had a broken part and they would have to order a replacement, and it
would take about another week to repair.
This insured that the lens would not be available for our family trip,
which was the only reason why I getting the repair done at this time. My wife was told that the part would be
I called back and approved the
At this point we left for our trip
without the lens. We returned a week
later still no word from them.
My wife called and was told that
they were working on it now.
The first call we received from them
was on 08/12/15 saying the lens was ready for pick up.
I went to pick up the lens on
08/13/15 and was charged $60.00 for the part and an additional charge for labor of
$55.00 bringing the total charge to $205.00.
This is exactly what I expressed I
did not want to have happen.
I repeatedly told them that I wanted
the lens for the trip, and I didn’t want to spend a lot on the repair.
I was very disappointed with every
part of this transaction.
After a long telephone conversation
the manager agreed to refund $35.00 off of the total charge.
One odd thing is that he offered
several times to buy the lens from us, which we did not understand. We felt like he was going to resell the lens
to someone else.
Again, the whole experience was

I originally took it to a local camera shop, that said they weren't authorized to repair Nikon products, nor was anyone else in the area. He also said it wasn't worth repairing, and not only that, I wouldn't be able to find parts. I called Nikon for guidance, and they recommended a couple of places on opposite ends of the country. I did ...More some more research and found . They immediately told me that they could repair it with no trouble, but that they would have to evaluate the camera first to be sure. I sent it out, they ordered the part, and now my camera works better than when it was new! Everyone was very nice, did what they said they would do, and didn't offer any resistance of any sort. I would use them again if I ever needed, and I would HIGHLY recommend them!

I had an unusual experience. I sent the 7D in for the screw replacement which completed and returned to me in under two weeks counting shipping time both ways. However, when I received my camera there was no viewfinder display. That was working when I sent it to him. I called , and he asked me to send ...More it back for him to look at again. He gave it a high priority because I was returning it. He found he had overlooked the replacement of the viewfinder connector, and returned it to its proper working condition. He sent it back the same day, and even included a refund for my second shipping expenses, which were actually considerable. He admitted it was his error and corrected it in the most honorable way anyone could expect.
Yes, it was a bit disappointing that it not perfect the first time. But took quick action to make it right on the second time, and to me that reveals he is an honest repairman, and certainly does know his cameras. He simply made an honest mistake.
Had the mistake not happened, then I would be reporting to you only that he repaired my original issue to my satisfaction and that would be the end of it. But because of the mistake, I can report to you how he made no excuses for a error and took responsibility for it and reimbursed me for my second shipping expenses and inconvenience. You can't ask anyone to do anymore than that. This action speaks than an uneventful repair. I would definitely would use him again. And another person I know upon hearing about how handled the error was so impressed he will be contacting him to have a few of his camera's repaired.
As photographers it is always a bit disconcerting to pack up your beloved camera and mail it off to a stranger and just hope it will be repaired properly, or even if you will get your camera back! It is a bit of a of faith. All I knew is that I had dealt with Canon repair in the past and would rather not use them again. Living where I do I have no other repair person to take it to, so certainly fills that need. It is good to know that I have a trustworthy person to send it to in the future.

We originally went in to get the screen repaired on an Olympus digital camera we have had for several years, but the salesperson said for what it would cost us to repair the Olympus, we could just about get a new camera. He suggested a Nikon Coolpix L840 that had a $100 rebate (we also got a Promaster Elite bag and an 8Gb video ...More card). Once we got home and tried it out, the camera would not work; a "screen error" message kept appearing. We called the store and another salesperson offered to switch it for a new L840 if it was defective. The next day we went back to the store and asked about replacing the L840 with a different camera instead. We decided on the Nikon Coolpix P610 that had a greater zoom (60X), a superior screen, and the ability to go fully manual. After exchanging for a larger bag and getting a $50 rebate for the P610, we ended up paying a total of $559.41 over both days. It was worth it because of the better, newer features of the P610 over the old Olympus. The P610 works well and we are satisfied.

Fantastic. When we dropped off camera, did some quick diagnostics. He explained problems and potential problems. Also gave us an estimated cost and time to repair. Cost was exactly as the estimate and camera was ready in less than a week.

Expected camera to work as new, but it is not as responsive.
Did they use non-manufacturer parts?
They sure contacted me to follow up to get my business, but once they got it have I heard from them?
I'll look to someone else in the future.
- Robert B.

They are going to take a photo of it with an overhead scanner and make 10 copies for me in the 11x17 format. They are very knowledgeable and informative and provide you with detailed information. I was so happy to have found such informed people and who have been a pleasure to do business with. There are several people I would like to knowledge... ...More , and . They have been so kind and went out of their way to take the time to explain all of my questions. I am very appreciative of their service. I also took the picture in last Thursday 04/02-2015 and it was ready by Monday 04/06/-15. I would absolutely use them in the future and highly recommend their services to others. I also want to mention that they gave me a CD with my pictures for future copy's and also they're prices are extremely reasonable.
