has no sub contractor contacts. We now know that he does not have these due to short payment or lack of payment all together to these people in the past. We were told that he had credit accounts at local vendors, lumber yards etc and that he would bill us when needed. He asked for several draws in which we now know this money did not go towards our home construction. The only licensed subs he brought to our job left early due to payment issues. We have several subs who have contacted us about payment even though he was to pay them with the money he requested. We later found out that our

In plumbing inspection failed 6 times and the Mechanical failed twice because instead of hiring a professional he did the work himself and still never finished the job. What work he did complete is a complete disaster. We have not even moved into the house and the roof needs a complete replacement. he never started framing in the fireplace, which increased our cost of installing one. He finally left the job which was a good send for us but before he did instead of taking the waste off to the dug holes with a skid steer front end loader in which we rented and pushed the waste in and buried it on our property. We have a lawsuit pending against this person but I would recommend that if this person comes around when looking to find a GC for a remodel or any building contractor work just simply send him walking. "

Because the project turned out to be more than we originally thought it would be, we adjusted the invoice amount. "It went ok. I thought I was being quoted an excellent, premium job at a discount. I got an average job at an average price. I was not ripped off or cheated, I got what I paid for but I got a little less than I had thought I was getting. I scheduled the work about 3 weeks in advance. They were supposed to call and schedule the exact day of the work later. One day I came home from work and they were already there and working. They didn't do much scraping of the old peeling paint. They didn't use a pressure washer at all. They did an excellent job of re-caulking the windows and re-painting the metal windows. Make sure you understand specifically what prep work they intend to perform. They did a quick and reasonable job for me at a quick and reasonable price. I'd hire them again to paint a house I was selling or wanted a budget paint job on. I'd be hesitant to get them to work on an old house that I wanted to restore to pristine condition."
