Oklahoma City Window Installers Reviews

"The sales staff was very professional and did not yield to high pressure techniques to sell their products and services. They do not keep product warehoused, so after the sale it took more than 8 weeks to get the new window and get it installed. No doubt a cost saving measure for the business, but a big inconvience for the customers.

While the product was high grade, excellent design, quality of materials and will provide many years of reliable services, I give them a B, I would give an A if the price were a bit lower. I was not happy with the fact that in order to fix a window that had a $2.00 plastic latch broken on it, required buying a whole new window. I checked around at several places trying to find a replacement latch for a window that opens into the house for cleaning purposes, but could not find a latch or a company that would replace this inexpensive component.
Nothing against this specific company for not providing such a service when all of them do the same thing, still it feels like a gimmick they all use to sell windows rather than repairing a window that still has many years of service left in it. When the window was installed, the installer did not inform me about the magnet from the previous window, used with the security system to detect an open window, they simply left the wires hanging to the side rather than reconnecting them or drilling a new hole that would work with thier window. Given the number of home that use security systems, I expected the ability to reconnect the wires so the security system would work with the new window.
For requiring a new window rather than the ability to fix an inexpensive component on an existing window and for not reconnecting wiring for the security system during installation I’m giving them a D on quality of service.

"Kids broke a pane out the window in a bedroom, so even though we have storm windows, for their security we needed it done fast. Called

"For the most part it went well. I contacted Gable after finding them and two others on Angie's List. The three roofing companies all gave me bids on the work that needed to be done. Gable's offer ended up being the best. The roof and gutters were replaced about two weeks after the hail storm which I was glad for as we had holes in the roof. The windows took a lot longer as the insurance company initially did not want to replace them but wanted to have them resealed.

"Had to custom order the doors for a rent house and garage apartment.

"For all that I got, I feel it was a very good deal. I truly think their aluminum windows are way better than the typical vinyl window. I think the windows are top quality, but the woodwork in my case could have been better.
***the negative***
They used real cheap knotty wood and most joints were not flush or perfect, but I know they guys tried their best. If I had it to do over, I would leave the interior trim/casing to a professional carpenter. Another gripe is they really tore up the wall tile in my bathroom and left a huge gap between the tile and the casing. I had made the mistake of saying at some point I was going to remodel so an older gentleman went a little crazy with the circular saw. Entire house ended up pretty dusty and I had a LOT of cleanup to do afterwards, but I suppose that is to be expected.
I would definitely use them again, just not for building the entire casing like they had to in my situation, which was a little unique because of my wonky commercial-like metal casings.
"This is my second time hiring this company to install windows for my house. Both times that I have purchased windows I have worked with the same sales associate. He is a great professional who knows his information well and is a true representation of what this company stands for. He makes the customer feel very important and is always willing to go "the extra mile". I've had the same install crew both times as they are extremely efficient ,, friendly and get the job done right.
On my first order of windows I was also getting siding repaired due to hail damage. Due to some miscommunication, the replacement of the siding was not completed. However, after I noticed the situation, they had the same crew back within in a hour to finish the job! That is true customer dedication! For the second job the crew performed, there was an accidental issue that arose while the crew was on the site. The next day, I informed the owner of the company of the problem, and by the next week he had compensated me for the cost of the issue. I feel that even though small problems did arise from both jobs, the company handled it very well and did what they needed to do to make sure it was done right! The best test for exceptional customer service is when something goes wrong and I as the customer can clearly see that they give it 110% of their time to fix it and make sure it's done right!
"The roofing was completed in 2 1/2 days. They put a tarp on just in time before the rain hit the first day. It would have been done in 2 days if it wasn't for the rain. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Painting was done in less than a day. They missed 2 of the window ledges but after they noticed it without us saying anything they completed the job. Siding went well and were were excited to see the end result. We were also very pleased with the guttering that was done and the window wrapping. Again, we highly recommend this company."
"Went well. Once installed there were three screens that were mis-sized. they re-ordered and installed a couple weeks later."
"I saw a

advertisement on television over the Memorial Day weekend. They advertised a "whole house" of windows for $1,495.00. The owner/representative in the ad is standing in front of a two-story house, when he states that you can get a "whole house of storm windows for $1,495.00." It is true. Please call their 1-800 number or go on line to learn more.I went online. The ad was not on-line, which should have been a clue to me, but I thought the ad was new and they had not gotten it posted, yet. The options available were to call them to set up an appointment or to contact them via email with any questions. I did not need an estimate, so I sent an email asking about the windows in their advertisement. I received three phone messages asking me to contact them to set up an in-home sales appointment for an estimate. Since I did not need an estimate, just answers, I ignored the first two calls. I called back after the third. I explained that I only had questions. I was told that it was company policy to send out a sales rep--no phone calls or emails. I scheduled an appointment, to which I was asked if I was married, if I owned my own home, and was asked about my credit. I told the representative that I would provide credit information or when and if I was ready to purchase their product. She did not like this response and asked a couple of questions to obtain a little information. When she asked for my social security number, I declined giving it and we ended the call. A day before my appointment, I received a confirmation call. This representative left me message that I felt was an ultimatum and it was not friendly. I called to confirm the appointment, and again, asked to talk to someone without wasting Community Builder's or my time with an in-home presentation. I,again, was told this was company policy. I read reviews and Angie's List about

before my appointment. The sales rep was 8 minutes late. I apologized for his having to meet me, as I only wanted some details about the $1,495. deal they had advertised. This sales rep was respectful, professional, and friendly. He said he would be glad to answer all of my questions. He asked me if I was married, if I owned the house, and if I planned on living here for several years. I answered his questions, then asked about he deal, again. He said I would not be interested in the $1,495. windows. They were cheap and not as good of quality as their premium windows. They were sold only to rental property owners, temporary owners, or house flippers. These individuals did not care about the quality of the windows they installed. When I told him that
Oklahoma City Window Installers Provider Name Locked
, by their own admission, did not sell to temporary owners or rental property owners, he said I was mistaken. They do it all of the time. I quoted the statements from reviews from
Oklahoma City Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. He said they did it all of the time. (See reviews and responses here.) His expression changed and he said I would not be happy with these windows. I asked questions, any way. Here are the differences between the windows, as he explained: The $1,495 windows are cheaper quality, they could easily break, gap, bend, and warp. They ad is only for 7 windows, even though it stated a whole house. Extra windows would be $350.00 each. The only colors are white and almond. They have one coat of E glass film. They have a 1 year warranty. He said they had metal framing in panes of class. The argon was only 60%. The premium windows, which he had a sample, would cost me $7,000 for 7 windows. They had more argon gas--90%. They had a lifetime warranty. They would not crack or warp, and if they did, they would replace them. The only thing about them is the finish could fade or stain on the white or almond. He bad mouthed the $1,495 windows so much that I asked why a reputable company would even sell them. He said because temporary owners did not care and they were their target customers. When he pageant talk recycled vinyl versus virgin vinyl and told me that the argon gas in other windows leaked out of drilled hole in the back of the frame. My brother stepped in and explained that he was incorrect about argon gas and that no company did what he was stating. The sales rep began to pack up and said he could not help me. He left. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE.
Oklahoma City Window Installers Provider Name Locked
has a high BBB rating, but as you can see from the reviews, they ratings here are not high. Their business practices are questionable. My mother has the same premium windows and paid $2,600.00. This is why I was interested in the $1,495 deal. I doubt anyone gets this deal, or these windows. This company cannot stay in business selling such bad products. It is clearly a BAIT & SWITCH ploy. I do not recommend this company.I
