"Stone Creek Plumbing relocated my refrigerator and stove. They disconnected the gas water heater and wanted to charge me to reconnect it.

The gas company wouldn't relight the water heater because they said the work wasn't completed to code. Stone Creek said I'd have to pay $500 to repair the gas line. I had to get another plumber to correct the work."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want a $500 reimbursement for another plumber to fix the problem."

"The member doesn't understand what was going on, nor does she want to hear what happened. We don't want be in the middle of this any longer. We won't give her money to fix her own plumbing problems. I'm sorry we couldn't make her happy."

COMPLAINT: Wayne Phillips, Jones, Okla.
"Fuller Paving installed an asphalt driveway at my home. It was OK for about six weeks, then I noticed it was falling apart.

I called Steve Fuller [the owner] and informed him of the problem. He said there was a one-year warranty on his work, but it took several calls for anyone to come out. [Two and a half months later], his son came and agreed with me about the driveway falling apart.

He called his father to explain the problem, and Steve said he'd contact me a few weeks later to take care of it. When he didn't, I called him and he said he'd call me the next day and take care of it - he didn't.

The problem hasn't been taken care of, nor have I received the refund he promised me."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want the $2,520 refund Steve Fuller agreed to."
