"Got estimate from owner. When the three crew members showed up, the "lead" guy walked through the house and revised the estimate. Truck in driveway, engine running. I told him I had called the owner to add boxes, and he said the move was small and that because there was plenty of room not to worry about it. Man at the house supposedly called the owner, but then said regardless of what I was told there was an individual charge for every box. They basically held me up for the extra money. I had to move out and they knew it. Classic rip off.

"These guys are fast, courteous and professional. The only problem I had was they broke the frame and glass of a painting. However, they were more than willing to get it framed and ended out reimbursing me so I could do it myself.

were the guys assigned to my move, they were very courteous and went out of their way to ensure provide excellent service.

called to verify their arrival time that morning and they were on time. They used lots of moving blankets to protect my furniture, (covering the truck floor so my mattress wouldn't get dirty, even placing blankets on the door frames so my furniture would not get nicked as they were going through the doorways, etc.)
They had to move the refrigerator out of the way in my new home before they could install my refrigerator, even hooking the icemaker up and moving old fridge to the garage. Moving my fridge in required taking not only the handles off the fridge but also removing the knobs off some of my cabinets, which they put back on when they were done. All this was done with care for my items and a cheerful attitude.
They even helped me arrange my livingroom furniture, moving things around until I was happy. One of my chairs just did not fit in the new home and they loaded it up and took it back to my old home.
I really appreciated their professional and friendly attitude. They finished early and wanted to know if there was anything else they could do for me.
Great customer service! I definitely recommend this moving service.

"The two-man crew doing the move was excellent. They arrived when they said they would. They were well equipped, experienced and worked diligently to get the work done in a professional and efficient manner. They took care to wrap and pad furniture items and were careful going through doors to prevent damage to the items or doorways.
The only issue we encountered was upon job completion when we were presented with the final invoice. We had purchased the Angie's List promotion of 3 hours for $252 (a $30 savings from the hourly rate), with the understanding that additional hours would be $94. They completed the work in 4.25 hours -- which was an hour longer than it had taken to move these same items a few months earlier -- but was still reasonable for the work required. Since we had already purchased 3 hours we would owe for an additional 1.25 hours @ $94 = $117.50, to which we agreed.
The crew then "corrected" the invoice to 5.25 hours and wanted another one-hour charge of $94 for travel time. Note that the 4.25 clock hours included the travel time between our pickup house and the delivery house, so this extra one-hour charge was a charge "to get to our job." I reviewed the Angie's List offer and found no mention of being required to pay for travel time -- only that the moves required a three-hour minimum charge. I disputed the additional hour, which was escalated by the crew to office management by phone -- where the travel charge was waived. If not for this invoice correction my Angie's List rating would have been far lower on the basis of false or misleading advertising. Because they ultimately honored their offer as written, I have rated them an "A" overall.
I notice that they have now amended the Angie's List offer with the statement that the offer includes "one hour travel." I don't think they are really including one hour of travel in their offer. I think this may still be confusing because what I believe they really mean is that you are paying $252 for two hours of moving (not three, since the first hour is consumed by the travel charge) -- after which the additional hourly charges start running.
In summary, we can recommend their service -- we just advise that if the cost is important to you be sure you understand the terms to which you are agreeing.

"I don't usually write a review but I just have to vent and let others know of the poor service I recieved from Convienient Movers. I have used this moving company in the past 2010 or so and was very pleased with the 2 movers that assisted me. This recent move was a nightmare to say the least. Let me say first that I had to schedule and reschedule my moving date and time several times. I spoke with
Oklahoma City Movers Provider Name Locked
several times and he was very professional and courteous over the phone. So my moving day finally arrives. They were 30 minutes late, not a big deal. I only had 2 large items to move from a 3rd floor apartment to a house. When the 2 guys arrived I showed them the couch to be moved (brand new with tags still on) and the brand new queen size headboard, footboard, mattress and rails. The one older guy who smoked like a chimney when he saw the bed asked me if I wanted the bed moved too. I said yes and then he rolls his eyes and walks off. Nice way to set the

of the move! So as their moving the sofa down the stairs the older chain smoker guy drops a corner of the sofa h****** the stairs! They proceed to push rather than lift the sofa down the stairs! I was in complete shock with their methods! I had to stop them because I knew there had to be damage, sure enough their was! There are several rips and tears on the corner and back of my brand new sofa!! (I'm not kidding, I have pictures to prove it) I called
Oklahoma City Movers Provider Name Locked
right away and told him about it. He offered me $90 off the total cost of the move to compensate. Which is ok but my brand new sofa is damaged. They also were very rough and mishandled my bed. So this is my problem I didn't wrap anything up because on their website they advertise that they wrap up your items and pad everything. On my first move back in 2010 they did that. But this last time they did not wrap anything. When I called
Oklahoma City Movers Provider Name Locked
and spoke with him, he called the older guy (don't remember his name) and told him about the $90 off. Then he comes to me and tells me "Well you know that $90 comes off our paycheck, we have to take the hit. We only get paid $9.00 hour." I'm still in shock over the unprofessionalism of the 2 guys that moved me. It was a horrible, horrible experience that I wish had never happened. There are several scratches on my brand new bed and my couch is ripped in several places. I'm so upset and I don't feel like $90 off was worth the damage done to my furniture. Several times I had to suggest to them how to get the sofa down the stairs and had to help lift it or otherwise my sofa would have been ripped to shreds! This company has gone downhill since I last hired them. Please do not hire them! If you get the 2 guys that helped me, you will regret it!! I will never use this company again! OH and it took them 3 hours to move a large sofa and queen size bed!! I also had a tv stand but it has 2 glass doors and there was no way I was going take my chances on them breaking it!

"The two guys showed up punctually, were very very polite and did a great job of moving our furniture. It only took them 45 minutes but the 2 1/2 hour minimum + travel charge made the overall charge a little high. I will definitely use them again!

"This is our second time to use Able. The first time, they were recommended by someone, I used them to move my mother into Assisted Living. They were so patient and kind during the process. The room wasn't clean, the people who were supposed to meet us were not there and furniture from the previous patient was still in the room.
They were so helpful and took the time to let us get the crew in to clean up, as well as helped us move the hospital bed out to make room for mom's stuff.
This time was no different. Such a hard time and they were again kind and patient and so concerned that they do everything to make it as easy as possible. I will definitely use them again.

"After scheduling a move with this company based upon their Angie's List reviews, a change in plans required me to cancel the move. I called the company approximately 24 hours before they were scheduled to arrive and told them that we would not be needing them. The man I spoke to was very nice about the cancellation and the short notice and told me that if I discovered that I would need them to just give him a call. Everything about the experience was excellent. The next time I need a mover, I will only make one call. If their work is as good as their customer service, it will be a superior experience.

"The truck they brought was not big enough for everything in one load, which left me scrambling to finish on my own after closing late in the day. The houses were approximately 30 minutes apart, which made the option of sending the truck back to finish financially irresponsible, at 94 dollars per hour. I also felt there could have been more than 2 movers, although the movers they sent worked very hard and were friendly. Furniture only had a few defects, but hardwood floors were scratched in multiple places. They also had truck stuck in driveway between trees and tore up a large chunk of my yard getting it out. I was not present for last part but my wife said it took almost 2 hours to get out. The total time of move was 6.5 hours for 1800 sq foot house. The owners were very friendly and responsive to issues. I would give them another shot, but, make sure communication is improved and expectations are laid out for size of truck and amount of movers sent.

were so patient and careful with packing our kids' household in Stillwater. They arrived at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, as scheduled, after having to drive over an hour to get there. They were polite and introduced themselves to us and were patient with our granddaughter and with me in a wheelchair because of a broken ankle. They unloaded everything carefully and were pleasant about rearranging furniture to suit our daughter-in-law. We were very pleased and would use this company again.
