"Excellent service! Owner described all services performed, in detail, and explained all prices. Main component of pricing is based on the number of people in moving crew, resulting in higher pricing for a faster move, (and vice versa) but this seems like a fair way to do it. They added 10% for dealing with stairs (mine had a90 degree turn, making moving difficult). Crew has been working together for several years, according to the owner. They arrived on time & asked to be shown exactly what was being moved. Very fast & efficient! took excellent care of belongings. And price was excellent considering the level of service. "

"They broke several pieces of furniture and scratched other pieces. They fixed the desk but not very well. They chipped my glass table top and didn't offer to repair or replace. They didn't seem to care when these problems were pointed out. Will never use them again."

to move the appliances and other large objects to our new house. I first time they were scheduled no one showed up at the arrival time. Forty five minutes after calling, they called back to say they were running late. Three hours after the originally scheduled time, they still had not shown. I called again and waited 45 minutes for a call back. She told me they would not be there until at least 10 p.m.! I asked if we could reschedule for that Saturday. When they were 30 minutes late I called and the woman had no idea were the crew was. About 15 minutes later she called to say they would be another 4 hours! She refused to discount past the quoted rate for our time and trouble. When I asked for the owner's name, mailing address, and business license number, she refused to give it to me and got snotty. I was able to find another mover, so I cancelled with Affordable."
