Mechanical arrived on time on the day they said they would start the project. Disruption of our activities inside our home was minimal. The work was finished on time and the project area cleaned up before they left. Very satisfied with the quality of material and the projected being started and finished as promised. Will use again for any heat and air issues.

"Everything in cold attic. With 28 years experience Dan Barnett went straight through his tasks. Who took pictures to show how the installation would be done. Very professional. They are coming back to do the install. More later.

"They did a super job, totally exceeded my expectations. Sent in two full crews so they could complete the job in well less than one day. Price of the entire system was great, crew was completely professional, my attic problems gave them some unexpected hurdles and they went out of their way to make it right for me at no extra cost. Cleaned up very well, explained everything in as much detail as I wanted, and just left me completely pleased. I was impressed how they could send seven workers in and they spread out and worked great in parallel (some in attic, some un-boxing parts, a few doing the air conditioner and the others working on the furnace). The salesman was good to deal with too, he originally bid the job with minimum specification equipment and I had to ask him to rebid with higher end instead of minimums (that was my only issue is that he didn't understand at first that I wanted to exceed the standard requirements and capacities). I am 100% pleased overall. This was a big job done right.

"Inspector, Mr.

of

and Air Conditioning, pointed out some city code violations from a previous furnace installation of 2009. Carefully explained the work that should be done. Three items were not done per code on the previous installation. Has a single wall flu pipe and city code dictates a dual wall flu pipe (for fire safety). Gas igniter getting close to failure, showed with ohmmeter current reading and igniter is clearly out of specification. No auxiliary drain on unit and need one installed. Tends to clog, backup and then water will damage furnace unit from water backed up in Air Conditioner unit. Provided and carefully explained cost estimate to perform work for labor and material. Very reasonable for both. Recommended that igniter not be replaced until the next heating year, since Winter heating cycle is nearly over. In addition, provided Oklahoma Natural Gas rebate program information and application for $30 that will be paid by the gas company to us, which reduces this inspection from a $49 to $19 final cost. was able to respond within an hour or so to my call about a the central heating unit not working on a very cold morning.

S. was professional and friendly. He quickly determined why the unit wasn't working, and explained what had probably happened to the motor, the cost and the plan for replacing it that same day. After agreeing to the work, he then ordered the part and worked another job while the part was being delivered for his pick-up. He returned within well less than two-hours, and quickly replaced the motor. He finished by testing for good performance and safety of the unit
Overall, I was impressed how quickly and efficiently

H & A responded to our problem. His friendly manner and answers to my questions were appreciated. The person taking my initial call was also positive and helpful.
The cost of the unit, and fact that he had to replace a whole assembled unit of components just to replace a defective motor was not a plus, but that seemed more the manufacturer's intent since all the components were in a single unit with the motor. I am sure everyone on the chain producing and selling these replacement parts make more money on what appears to be unnecessary replacement of connecting parts to the engine, but that is determined far from

"After another company couldn't find the leak, we called

came out and very methodically went to work locating the leak. After about 15 minutes he found the source of the leak, repaired it and added the necessary freon. He obviously knew what he was doing, and he took the time to show us where the leak was and how he would fix it. Very professional and friendly.

the technician phoned to say he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come earlier than the appointment. He arrived and quickly went to work removing the Air Cleaner. The air cleaner's collection cells were thoroughly washed and rinsed in warm water. (

requests that Air Cleaner owners not attempt to remove and clean the collection cells.) Then the air cleaner was reassembled and set back into place beneath the interior portion of the air handling system. I was asked to wait approximately 48 hours before restarting the air cleaner to make sure the cells were completely dry. I waited a bit longer than 48 hours and pushed the button to restart the air cleaner. The green

"I have mixed emotions about this company. We have been on their service agreement for about 4 years.
While they do a good job of maintaining everything and fixing occasional problems we have found they seem to always be in a hurry and not very good at providing personal service or answering questions.
The technician that came in the spring seemed to be pressuring us to buy a new AC unit, acting like the compressor wasn't coming on part of the time. We never had any problem with it all season, after he left.
The technician this fall said he drilled a small hole in the floor of the unit to check the ducts underneath. He never asked before he did this and never had one do that before. I had to ask several times if he replaced the filters before he answered.
We are dissatisfied enough we did not renew the agreement. There are others out there with more professional attitudes.

"The install technicians showed up very promptly after a reminder call from the office telling me they were on their way. The technicians were both extremely professional and polite, even though it was the coldest day of the year to do the install in the sleet and ice. They worked straight through, almost 11 hours, and got my return ducts installed and got the new 4 ton A/C outside, and a new thermostat. They even vacuumed my upstairs and swept off my stairs leading up, even though they were a mess before they got here! We saved about $2600.00 since Carrier is running a special giving all Interstate's customers a free furnace with a full install. We got easy financing via their website (all Interstate customers get 12.9% financing, no matter what the credit card shows your interest rate to be online!) which is good for those with 'average' credit. You can get a much better rate with excellent credit I'm sure. I can genuinely say that these guys are the most professional service technicians I've ever dealt with, and they truly had a great deal of expertise and knowledge in the system and their work. They cleaned and vacuumed the entire area after finishing, showed me everything, explained everything and I had them come back out and connect the bathroom ducts to the main unit (they had never been connected in the 11 years I've had the house!) for an additional $250 (totaling 6500 for the entire new unit and these bathroom ducts). I had one issue where the main duct that ran off the furnace in the attic had become disconnected from the furnace itself, and called them on a Friday - they were out the following Monday and completely patched it up, suspending the duct from the roof to keep the pressure from disconnecting it again (this was not their fault - it was the kind of ducts the original installer had used when they put in the central unit - it didn't have the solid steel connector which Interstate prefers to use). I would definitely contact them again in the future, and would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are a bit more expensive than other companies, but you truly TRULY get what you pay for (I know - we've had other companies come out and didn't do HALF the quality of work these guys do!). Thank you, Interstate! It's so nice to sleep with peace of mind that your central unit won't break down on you - it's already saved us about 80 dollars per month in the winter - can't wait to see what it saves us this summer!"
