installed the counter top, the dishwasher was in place and was hooked up to the water. I had to have them come back to "clip" the dishwasher to the underside of the counter top. When they arrived, they used epoxy rather than the clips. Now 18 months later the epoxy has dissolved and the dishwasher is falling out from under the counter top. When I called and talked to the office manager, they didn't know the difference between having the dishwasher in place and installed. That seemed to be a sticking point with them. At first she said they were not responsible. This didn't make sense because they had come out initially and used the epoxy, so I think if they were not responsible they would have said something at that time. After several calls with the office manager, I was told she would get back to me. I haven't heard from them since. At any rate, the problem is going to be solved by another company, my kitchen renovators."

"They were very good. They came in and took measurements and made a template of the kitchen using the computer, so that they were able to cut the

correctly. They also took the sink so that they make the cut out. They called back within a week and said that they were ready to do the installation. They were very professional, came on time and finished the work in a short period of time so that we could get the plumber to hook the sink back. I would recommend them to anyone. "

Indianapolis homeowners seem to be following a new trend to trade in their quartz and tile countertops for much more durable granite. Dan Marsh, co-owner of A-rated Classic Stone in Carmel, says 75 percent of his countertop installations involve granite, a stone that not only withstands extreme heat but also doubles as a kitchen cutting board because it's nearly impossible to scratch. "As far as durability is concerned, granite far surpasses solid and laminate countertops," he says.

"They have a contractor that did the installation and it went perfectly fine. I went online and checked out different ones and decided on the ones I wanted. They gave me samples that I could bring home and put up against what I already have. We went ahead and a representative sat down with us and figured out how much we needed and what the cost of it was. They also told us what equipment we needed to have ready when the contractor came. "

and got a rough estimate based on my measurements. The day after we chose him,

came to our home to take his measurements, confirm our preferences and collect 50% deposit. We selected our granite slabs from Fleet Imports about three days after the deposit and a hard template was made at day five. We were given an original install date of day 26 days from day of deposit, but the install was moved up to day 20 due to an opening in their schedule. There was great communication, with them calling me to delay one of the three visits by 30 minutes and arrange the install 6 days earlier than originally estimated. They always answered their phone and provided clear guidance, advice and answers. The granite looks great, with sink and cook top exactly where I want them and all obstacle cutouts within 1/8 of an inch of the wall/support."

They fixed it and it all worked fine. The countertop was a very big detail to the kitchen and they should not have had the problems that they did. It had to be re-cut and other things had to be worked out with it. They made to many mistakes and I would not use them again. After they fixed it several times, the finished counter does look nice. I am happy with the outcome of how it looks in my kitchen.
