"When we brought the unit back the older guy that I assume owns the place was very rude at best. When we asked for our money back for faulty repair he said they do not do refunds but would only give us a store credit If you have ever been in this old out dated store you will quickly notice the place is full of old junk and there is nothing worth $120.00. This is the most unprofessional business I have everexperienced! Needless to say I will never go back. Enter at your own risk!"

"The overall experience was excellent. They tell you right off the bat what they can and can't do. They take your request and give you a time frame for when it will be ready and it is ready at that time. They are honest about the equipment they have and if they can honor your requests. They do a lot of restoration on portraits right there. They are very good and do what they say they will do. The quality of work is great and that is probably why they are still open today. They would not survive without the quality of work they give. With the economy today you have to be able to give and take, but still have quality behind it. You never know what tomorrow will bring and you are at the mercy of your customers."

"I was recommended by another electronic company that
Norfolk Camera Repairs Provider Name Locked
would be the only option to service my camera locally. I saw some negative comments online but went ahead and called. I called and spoke with a pleasant individual so I took it into their offices. The individual at the counter wasn’t as pleasant as the first individual I spoke with on the phone but I left my camera so they could give me a quote. I received a quote of $269 via e-mail as agreed but was out of town when I received the information so I couldn’t ask them for details in regards to the quote. When I arrived back home, I contacted them and found that the estimate included installation of a new

I went to pick up my camera and I checked it to make sure the camera functioned properly and asked to see the replaced

. When I was informed that no new part was installed, I asked if there would be a price adjustment since $269 seemed to be a primary labor charge. They looked at me in astonishment when I asked for the adjustment and said that there wouldn’t be any adjustments since it was fixed. We debated about the price and I asked what the pricing of the

which was approximately $137. I came up with the solution to take off half the cost of the
Norfolk Camera Repairs Provider Name Locked
since I never received the new piece. I ended up paying $227.00. I have never dealt with a company so unprofessional and I haven’t been treated as a customer so poorly. The money is a moot point but the treatment of a customer from the very beginning to the end result was very poor. The attitude and customer service of this company needs to be worked on.

"I called he was out the following morning and took both camcorder and our flat screen,he called us later in the day and told us what was wrong with both items and gave us the price which really surprised cause the previous repair man actually made our TV worse, and we were charged a small fortune! Anyway we had our TV and camcorder back within 3 days and they were both cleaned too! I will definately stay with this service."

"In all of our dealings with this company, all employees are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I feel that we have received extremely fair prices and been rewarded for our loyalty. All servicemen have been extremely efficient when delivering and setting up our TV and our refrigerator. We have asked for opinions regarding all of these products before purchasing and found that the sales staff was extremely helpful. I cannot say enough great things about this store."

"I live 25 miles away from the
Norfolk Camera Repairs Provider Name Locked
, so I called first to describe the problem with my TV. The person I talked to said to bring it in and they would look at it. They charge a $69.75 "diagnostic" fee that must be paid up front. I took the TV into their store on April 7th and was told that they would more than likely be able to look at it and have it diagnosed by the end of the week, Friday April 9th and could possibly have it done by the end of the following week. I was told that once they found the problem they would call me in order to get authorization to order the needed parts and perform the work. I received no call on by the 9th. I called to follow up on April 12th and was told that they hadn't looked at my TV yet and didn't know when they would get to it. I heard nothing from them the entire week of April 12th. I called back on Friday April 16th to follow up again. I was told that they had diagnosed the problem on Wednesday April 14th. I asked if they were planning to call me in order to let me know that they had it diagnosed. I was told that they "dropped the ball" and that they were sorry they didn't call. I gave them authorization to complete the work. I received a call on Wednesday April 21st that the work was completed, but because I was out of town I wasn't able to pick it up until the Monday April 26th. When I asked if was anything that could be done in adjustment to the bill for taking much longer than I was originally told, I was shouted at from whom I assume was the owner stating that they were not going to lower the price and that if I wanted them to take the part back out of the TV they would. He then tried to tell me that they did call once the diagnostic work was completed (a contradictory story to what I was told on the phone). I wasn't asking for the work to be completed for free, only a small adjustment to the price for taking much longer to complete and the lack of communication for the delay. I was charged $120 for labor and $215 for parts. After returning home I researched the part cost and find out that they marked up the part cost by about 60% over what I could have purchased it for on line. The only compensation that they could provide was an "I'm sorry". Based on my experience, I would not recommend this repair shop to anyone looking for timely service work, good communication and a fair price on parts. If these attributes are NOT important to you, then you can give them a try."

"Not a good experience. Although camera was repaired, the cost was outrageous and the staff answering the phones and customer service was horrible. They acted like the had an attitude and it was "tough c***- go someplace else if you don't like it" attitude. "

"I bought a video camera from Best Buy and got the 3 year warranty with it. I was told that if in the next 3 years there was any problem that I could bring it back and I would be given a new one. The viewing screen stopped working after about 2 years so I took it in to get it replaced. I was told that they would have to send it off to some repair center and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get it back. (This is 1 week before Christmas). When I asked about a loaner for Christmas I was told I could buy a new one from the shelf and return it for 20% restock fee. When I asked to talk to a manager I got some rude arrogant jerk that told me if I didn t like it I could take my Camera and go home. Having no choice (and no camera for Christmas) I left the camera with them. After 2 months I went to the store to find out what happened to my camera. I was told that the guy behind the counter could not find it any where in their system so I would need to come back tomorrow. When I got back the next day I was told that it was still at the repair shop and could be another 2 to 4 weeks IF they could find the parts (what the *explicit* does that mean) so I asked for the manager. After some heated discussion with the manager he told me he could give me a display model but it would not have any warranty. Again after a heated discussion with the manager and being told to take it or leave it. After more heated discussion (I found that if I raised my voice where customers could hear they were more inclined to help me. What kind of business practice is that you push your customers till they get angry before you work with them) they

came up with a comparable camera to the one that I bought in the first place. But even though the camera was only 2 years old they said the 3 year warranty was fulfilled (because they replaced the camera) and if I wanted a warranty I had to pay for a new one. What a bunch of crap you pay for a 3 year warranty so you can get a guarantee that your product will work for at least 3 years and they screw you once they have your money.

"I thought they were excellent. They were very responsive. They got here quickly and did the work quickly. They did what ever we needed and did it well. They took care of any problems that came up. The pricing was excellent as well. They were below all the other bids."

"When I first took my camcorder to be repaired, I got to the location and no one was there even though it was during operating hours (I guess they were out to lunch). This was frustrating because I had driven from Huntersville all the way down to their location. Anyway, I came back another day and told him that I would like to have the camcorder back by New Year's Eve - a week later. Needless to say I did not get it back by then. After New Year's, I called and he explained that it would cost $250 to get it repaired. I asked him did he think it was worth it and he said yes. We told him to go ahead and repair it. However, when I called back about a month later, he had not repaired it and wanted to know if I really wanted it repaired because it would be a lot of work. I told him never mind and I would pick it up. When I came to pick it up, he offered me $40 to buy the camcorder for parts. I can buy a new camcorder at

's Club for $250.
