New York Window Installers Reviews
I used to own one appartment, and we decided to renovate the kitchen. Living in Michigan most of the year, and not knowing any contractor in the city, not being aware of angie's list, we hired Kitchen. What a disaster... I gave them a key, came back after 6 weeks, they did only demolition which would take only one day... I was so disappointed. Every little thing that came up, they were asking more money... They made me signed a contract where I had to pay almost all of the money, before they even finish the half of the work... We were on the call arguing all the time...Then I bought the apartment down stairs, and decided to combine both... They suddenly became nice to me hopping that they would get the work for combining both. Then I found out angie's list and asked couple of general contractors to bid the work... That is how I met with

Thank you again, for the great job!
My wife and I just finished an apartment renovation and have had to deal with many contractors over the past year. The majority of them tell you one thing or give you one price and a date and they never stay true to the estimate. It's honestly an extremely frustrating process. We even had Skyline Windows, who were highly recommended, come out to give us a proposal for our job and they made several promises, then lost our work order, then brought the wrong materials and then never came back and no one called us, so we went with someone else, and that was
The screens took more than two months to arrive. Meanwhile, I had to choose between enduring mosquito bites or closing the windows in summer. I would definitely NOT have chosen
Worse than the delay was the absolute lack of professionalism in communicating the delay. I had to call numerous times, and only once was I able to talk to someone who understood the source of the problem. They NEVER called me to inform me of the delay, and they kept promising deadlines that they kept ignoring, silently.
At one point it surfaced, during one of my calls, that the screens were in the warehouse, except nobody had thought to call me or do anything about it. Those screens turned out to be the wrong size.
At another point, it surfaced that they had at least half of my screens from day 1, but they never offered to install the ones they had while we waited for the rest.
They charged me the full amount and never considered to make any amends for the inconvenience they inflicted.
