Obgyn Care Reviews in New York

She's very thorough in terms of addressing any issues and concerns. The staff is very friendly and they communicate well with the patients.

They are two brothers in practice, and I see Dr.
. I am 44 now and have been going to him since I was 16. I had two kids with him, and my sisters had their kids with the brother. The staff is great. The only time they make me wait is when the doctor is in delivery. The office is nice and clean, and friendly. I can call and say that it is an emergency, and he will call me five minutes later. My daughter, who he brought into this world, and she is going to him now.

Obgyn Care reviews in New York

I enjoy my appointments with Dr. N. She is always welcoming and explains things in a clear, matter of fact way. Follow up questions or concerns are handled promptly.

We like that she has two midwives and she works at the birth center. So far we have been pleased with everything. Our baby is due in August. The people that answer the phone have been a little short but in the office they have always been super nice. They have always done anything we needed or any paperwork we needed. They have been helpful. We have just been going for two months. They have been great so far. The availability has been great and the punctuality has been great every time except for once. Everyone is very nice when we go in. There is no charge until the end of everything.

They asked me to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Dr.

's paperwork was very contemporary and open-minded - for instance the documents inquired as to whether my sexual partner was male or female. I was seen very promptly, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr.

did an extensive interview in her office before I went into the examination room. She was very warm and open in the original interview and I felt very relaxed during the examination itself. I felt she was thorough and at no time did I feel rushed. She took time to answer all my questions. I got a letter from the office 2 weeks later confirming that all my tests came back normal, which was very much appreciated. She gave me a referral to a good female urologist.

The staff was great. Her and her two partners were fantastic to work with during my wives pregnancy. They were very knowledgable and very helpful throughout everything. She is top notch. There is also little wait when you go for a check up.

She is a very good gynecologic oncologist. She diagnosed my ovarian acncer during surgery in 2002 and has been treating me for 10 years. Due to her expertise, I have been cancer free for 10 years and no longer have to see her. She saved me life!

I went to Dr.
New York Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
because my insurance company changed and my regular gyn is not on my new plan. I chose to stay within in the

system because they link all your records from all your doctors in one file.

I had a total hysterctomy including cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes in 2002. I had a partially oopherectomy in 1998 and have been on HRT since then. I need estrogen to support my memory (which it is proven to do). I have already tried to decrease the amount of estrogen that I take only to find that I have alzheimer like symptoms. Over the summer I went to a neurologist and he specifically told me to stay on current dosage of estrogen that I am taking if it is supporting my memory.

I found that Dr.

, totally discounted my experience and fears at losing my memory, even AFTER I described them in detail and told her the Dx from the neurologist, whose report was in my records which she had access to. She refused to refill my Rx for estrogen at the dosage needed to support my memory functions citing all sort of textbook issues, such as breast cancer, blood clots and strokes. I told her that I had a brain MRI this summer that was perfectly normal and was willing to take the risk. I explained to her that memory is who I am and I am totally terrified at losing it. I walked out of her office, went outside and started crying from how I was treated and how the whole experience made me feel.

She wanted me to have a second opinion before getting giving me an Rx for any

of estrogen and gave me the telephone number
to another doctor who she said "wrote the book in the field". She wrote out his phone number on a piece of paper towel.

I have an app't with my neurologist in 2 weeks to deal with this situation and will NEVER go back to this doctor again.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.
New York Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
last year when I found out I was pregnant after already having one miscarriage. I am extremely happy I found him. He is very friendly and caring. He answers all our questions (my husband and I) and monitored my pregnancy very carefully. I finally have my baby and I will continue to go to Dr.

for care. The punctuality issue is not really an issue at his Rockland office which is where I see him. At the hospital however it is a bit of a problem but I do believe he is worth the wait.

The office is beautiful and the staff very nice and prompt, no wait at all. Dr.
New York Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
was very nice and had a nice demeanor but I had a few surprises. During the exam instead of doing the bimanual exam which is the norm she did instead an internal ultrasound which I have never had done despite 30 years of exams, as part of the routine exam. When I asked for an explanation she stated its part of your exam rather than explaining why she thinks this is better than the bimanual exam etc. When I asked if my insurance would cover this since it's routine she stated that she didn't know what insurance covers. I haven't seen the submitted claim yet but I will not be happy with a denied rather large fee that then I have to pay. It also gives concern about whether this is a problem with her training or just a way to grab a bigger fee from insurance. Also, she weirdly did not ask any gyn type questions - birth control, what my periods are like etc.
