Internal Medicine Reviews in New York

is a brilliant diagnostician. Plain and
. As a primary care physician he may be a bit rough around the edges....always late, always rushed...etc for most people...but the truth is that he is amazing at what he does. Will devote as much time as needed to each patient (sometimes at the expense of another's) but worth being put out for a bit. He is never satisfied until he and the patient have resolved the issue to the best possible conclusion. I would (and do) trust my life with him.

Dr. Palace is a long time family friend. Throughout the years, numerous members of my family have contacted/visited Dr. Palace (particularly at times when our PCP's were unavailable due to it being late at night, or on a weekend, or the PCP was on vacation) with medical related issues/questions, to seek medical advice, or on occasion to request he examine something and give a medical opinion on it, or on occasion to write a prescription.
Dr. Palace has always been great and incredibly helpful in all of the above! He has always been there for myself and my family members, to help ease any medical related worries that any of us have had, particularly (like I mentioned) in times where our PCP was unavailable or unreachable.
Overall, I would say that Dr. Palace is a really great Doctor!

Internal Medicine reviews in New York

They kept me on hold for a long time, to the point that I was about to hang up, when a rather unfriendly woman finally took my call. After I explained that I have a head injury and she made an appointment for me for the next day, she asked me for credit card information, explaining that they do not accept new patients without it. I have never been asked to give credit card information to any health care provider, let alone as a condition for a first visit. Let me emphasize that this provider acknowledges they accept my insurance. I have a $15 copay and a $200 deductible. When I asked why they wanted my credit card info, I was told that it was to charge me a fee if I failed to show up to an appointment without cancelling beforehand, and also in case of any charges my insurance would not cover. I could not agree to provide my credit card information under these circumstances, since the reason given flatly contradicted the original statement that they accept my insurance. I will also be contacting my insurer to suggest that they drop this provider from their list. I will be curious, as a new subscriber to Angie's list, to see if this review will be posted, as I believe this is a valid concern.

I have relied on Dr. Priven for medical care, advice, and referrals, and I have always been very happy with the care I receive. Her staff is always kind and welcoming as well.

He is just a very good doctor of a kind that I do not find very often. He is very thorough yet conservative. He is someone who I trust and he does not just give me medicines when I walk in. His staff is absolutely the best staff I have ever come across. They are the two most wonderful women. One is his nurse who does the injections and various tests; she is first rate. The other is the one who handles his office, she is just lovely. I have to pay them and then submit to my insurance myself but everything seems to be fine. He and the people that he has working for him are also really fine, excellent, kind, and thoughtful of what they do. When I really needed to have somebody to feel that somebody was thinking and caring about my concerns, they were terrific.

.She has been to
New York Internists Provider Name Locked
and is very up to date on medical care. She is very thorough. She talks to the patient very respectfully but in a way that you can understand what she is discussing. She is very accessible and she has wide range of knowledge. I just absolutely hate doctors with a passion but I love her. She is always available. She is the type of person if she keeps you waiting for 10 minutes she apologizes to you.

New York Internists Provider Name Locked
is a very good practitioner and is part of an excellent medical group. During the history portion, she took notes in my electronic medical record. These records were available and could be updated by other group specialists. I have seen the gastroenterologist, gynocologist and a podiatrist associated with the practice; they can read Dr.

's notes and she can read theirs.

Even though she was typing, I felt Dr.
New York Internists Provider Name Locked
was playing close attention to my responses and this was further demonstrated by her follow-up questions or remarks. She provided answers to my questions and other health information verbally and with handouts. The physical was also thorough.

I can't overstate how much I value Dr.

and other

physicians. Using my online "patient portal," I can make and change appointments, as well as request refills and referrals. This, I feel, makes it much easier for the doctors and the staff to manage administrative processes, giving everyone (including me) more time and less stress.

See above. Dr. Attoe is one of those rare physicians who takes the time to make sure I understand my treatment and to answer all my questions. (And I do ask lots of questions.)

She is patient and generous of her time as well as precise and clear. You couldn't ask for a better physician.

I am very impressed with this idea of "concierge" medicine. My physician spent nearly an hour with me and was very thorough with my examination as well as my questions. I only hope as this idea catches on - as it will - they can continue to provide such high-quality, personalized service.
- Gary O.

She is extremely thorough and patient. She, unlike many doctors, is very caring about older patients. She is excellent with them. The staff is fine. I have an appointment with her every three months. If I have a special need, I might have to wait a week or so.
