did a great job. I got a written estimate in the winter, but didn't want to do the job then. Was pleased that they said the quote was good for one year. I called them back in the summer and was quickly able to schedule a time for the work. They were punctual and very professional. The work only took about a half day. They had to make a hole in the plaster and bricks above the fire place to seal the smoke chamber. They did an excellent job of re-bricking the opening, but they had warned me ahead of time that they weren't able to redo the plaster. No problem. Since I knew this ahead of time, I was able to schedule the plasterer for the next day. They were also extremely neat with their work, much more so than I had expected from my experience with contractors in the past. I had cleared the room, but they laid down plastic anyway and when they were opening the hole in the chimney, had a shop vac running right next to the power chisel that was making the hole. Thus much of the dust was captured before it could spread and settle. All in all, I was very pleased with the work and their professionalism. I'd definitely use them again. They weren't the cheapest, but I got four quotes for this job and they were right in the middle of a fairly narrow range so I consider their pricing fair."
