" and his assistant arrived early to my apartment. I thought that he would just come in and assess and come back to fix the problem in my bathroom." However, the issue in my bathroom was enough that he was able to replace the wall dimmer and advise me how to avoid a future issue. He also looked at the problem I was having with my bedroom fan and remote which he also was able to resolve. In addition, the dining room light was not functioning which he was able to remedy. So it was great working with him and I would have him back if I had future issues.

"I can honestly say that I have never been so pleased with services for which I have contracted. This was not my first renovation project, but I live in New " only part-time and had no experience with contractors there. I got a few estimates which varied wildly; 's was extremely reasonable, yet the quality of his work is superior. I don't think that anyone else I consulted could have done a better job. And throughout the project, he went out of his way to save me money on materials, which enabled me to buy higher-quality paint and kitchen cabinets, tile, and countertops than I thought I would be able to, which made the end result even better. A lot of factors contributed to the difficulty of this project: the fact that I am in another city much of the time; the timing, with the project starting just before the holidays; my building's very strict work schedule and hands-on management of contractors; poor-quality work done by previous owners, much of which was not revealed until work for this project began; and a family emergency that required me to be out of commission for a significant length of time during the height of the project. But handled all of this really well. Despite having to do more plumbing and electrical work than we originally anticipated, it went quite smoothly without a lot of the unpleasant surprises that are often part of the renovation process. One of the members of my building's coop board, who lives on my floor, praised the cleanliness and courtesy of the project team when I ran into her one day and she told me she had heard that the building staff were very impressed by their work. It was nice to make a good impression on the neighbors even before moving in. After the previous resident moved out, the apartment looked so bad (peeling paint, cracks in the plaster, very worn-looking wood floor, dubious -rigged wiring, etc) I was not sure it would ever look particularly good. But and his crew did a meticulous job of repairing and refinishing all of the surfaces--I have never seen plaster with such a beautiful, pristine finish, and the fine paint job really shows it off. The wood floors are also gorgeous, as is the tilework in the kitchen. The radiator covers and other cabinetry I had made are of extremely high quality and detailed to fit exactly with adjoining baseboards. The space is completely transformed. At the end of the project, rather than rushing to get on to the next job, and his crew thoroughly cleaned the apartment. I had thought I would have to hire a service for some serious post-renovation cleaning, but I was able to do the residual cleaning myself--again saving money. I would strongly recommend for any job, large or small.

Ceiling Fan Installation reviews in New York

I needed someone to help me rehab my bathroom, this past summer, and I asked a person my coworker had recommended to come by. He gave a quote I could not afford, though to be honest, his price wasn't all that bad. But when I had asked him to come up with alternatives to bring down the cost, he was evasive and unresponsive.

So about ...More a month later, I was visiting my acupressure studio and asked if the folks there knew anyone in the Chinese community that they could recommend. The receptionist told me to call her friend because he had helped her rehab her bathroom too. She loved that he gave her advice as to what would and wouldn't work and that he was kind enough to take her shopping for materials--all within her budget.

So I called to come by the apartment for a consultation / quote. He worked within my budget and time frame, and we talked about a number of options for staying within that budget. He only had to hire one other person to complete the job and as promised, within 10 days, the job was done, and it looks so elegant and hip. He tore down all four walls and installed new sheetrock, plastered and painted, retiled the tub walls, retiled the floor, installed a new sink, installed plumbing fixtures, hung the mirror, installed new lighting, changed the switch plates, and constructed and hung my medicine cabinet. Other important details: He took me to the tile shop to select my wall tiles; he worked with the floor tiles I selected from Home Depot; he told me when the fixtures I had selected wouldn't work and advised me on what would work; and sometimes he even picked up materials for me at the hardware store. Everyone loves the space and I recommend to everyone who asks, whether it's for plaster work and paint or plumbing.

I have since asked him to help me finish the kitchen (install cabinets, hook up appliances, shop for kitchen counter and install it, hang Ikea shelves and hooks), install a ceiling fan, install new interior door knobs and shave the doors, do plaster work around the windows where I exposed the brick. And when I get more money, I'll ask him to help me install new hallway closet doors.

is kind, respectful, patient, trustworthy and flexible, so it couldn't be a better match for me.

His number is 917-238-1684

Overall the work was very good and by far the best pricing that I was quoted. Workers were punctual and courteous.

The only complaints I have were about minor assessment lapse and 1 minor light switch mistake. When I was first quoted the work I offered to have them come by to assess the work required for the 2nd dining room ceiling ...More light; they said it wasn't necessary. After the electrician showed up he said that it was more complicated and he didn't have all the right equipment, so I had to schedule a 2nd appointment. Leader was very apologetic and offered me slightly discounted pricing. 2nd minor issue was they wired 1 light switch incorrectly and had to come back and rewire it.

These were more of an inconvenience due to my busy schedule than real issues. Overall the quality was excellent and the pricing was by far better than anyone else I had quote for the work. Would use again

The work was excellent, performed on time and on budget, and done by a professional and very nice team of electricians, including the owner .

I've done 3 renovations and found that any renovation, large or small, is stressful. There is no getting around it. What sets and his team apart from others is that they know it can be stressful, that the client will be stressed out that things go wrong that are not the fault of the contractor, and they work with you to ...More alleviate the stress. They suggested work-arounds, alternatives, schedule changes, a lot of things--whenever problems arose, and on those rare occasions when they made a mistake, quickly took responsibility and made it right at no cost. and his team of workmen are excellent. He provided an initial bid in a timely fashion, and worked with me to come up with a price that was within my budget but still accomplished the task. He began when he said he would, and proceeded according to schedule. When he found unexpected problems, we worked them out agreeably. He was very agreeable to revisions as we went along, and charged reasonably for the changes I wanted. He was always available when necessary, by email, phone, or if necessary in person. He regularly appeared on the job to supervise the work, although his team was so good that little supervision was necessary. His team was very professional, having had a lot of experience doing work of this type. The work took place right underneath the unit I live in, so I know it was not overly noisy. On the rare occasions that I wasn't satisfied with some of the work, he quickly redid it to my liking and did not charge me for this additional work. He involved me in decision making as much as I wanted to be involved. Some things I left to him and his judgment; others I accompanied HIM to Home Depot or other vendors to select cabinets, etc. I am extremely satisfied with the work that his company did. If I have another project of any kind, would be the only person I would contact and be assured that he would give me a fair price. I wouldn't even have others bid a future job because with I would know that his price was a good price, and he would do the work very well and on schedule.

It was great. The technician took down the fan and then suggested putting up lightbulb plug in its . We had to take it down because we're having a loft built in my son's room. So he did that. Then he came to do the chandelier we'd bought. First he figured out that we didn't actually need it rewired for ...More American wiring. He put it in the dining room and I realized to my horror that I didn't like it there. So I asked him to remove it and put it up in the hallway (each time removing the fixture that was already there). He was incredibly nice about this and did it without making me feel like the idiot I was. He struck some problems with the hallway fixture and had to go to his truck twice but stayed cheerful even though it got late.

answered my email inquiry promptly and set up a time to visit the site so he could see the work I wished to have done. He is busy (and worth waiting for), so he scheduled my work about two to three weeks out from our initial meeting. Once started, he methodically did the work and also called me with good questions or to explain ...More issues as they arose during the work so that I was fully informed and so that I got exactly what I wanted. I agree with the many others on this list (which is how I found ) who have said that is pleasant, professional and does high quality work.

Great job. I called for an estimate at approximately 6:15pm on a weekday. The work was done the next morning at the agreed price. Prompt, professional service.

I chose this company because of all of the good ratings on Angie's List. I gave them a call and they came to my house to give me an estimate. The cost was reasonable. They did the work quickly and neatly. They worked with my ideas and I like the results.
