was always available either by phone or email and the installer I worked with (
) was professional, meticulous and punctual. The craftsmen they send all work for
from what I understand, which is great as they do not hire out sub contractors to do the work they sign on for. I did have a special piece of glass installed in the bathroom shower and they recommended a supplier who could do same. They coordinated when the supplier would be at the apartment with the glass to be installed. I found any outside vendor they recommended for any "special" work I wanted done to be reliable as well. I am happy I went with
and I found them through Angie's List. The renovations are beautiful!

and his team are the best general contractor you can get in the NYC. You will agree with me when you read this story:
I used to own one appartment, and we decided to renovate the kitchen. Living in Michigan most of the year, and not knowing any contractor in the city, not being aware of angie's list, we hired
Kitchen. What a disaster... I gave them a key, came back after 6 weeks, they did only demolition which would take only one day... I was so disappointed. Every little thing that came up, they were asking more money... They made me signed a contract where I had to pay almost all of the money, before they even finish the half of the work... We were on the call arguing all the time...Then I bought the apartment down stairs, and decided to combine both... They suddenly became nice to me hopping that they would get the work for combining both. Then I found out angie's list and asked couple of general contractors to bid the work... That is how I met with
and his team at
renovation. However, I still made a mistake of giving some of the works such as opening a hole on the floor and building a stairs to a different company (american stairs), hoping that they are specialized on this and can do a better job. What a mistake! They opened the hole not by city code, they build the stairs without enough support etc... I hired another contractor to do some of the demolition, they charged me "expediating" fee (Danconia interiors), which means they will do the work faster but I need to pay "extra"-$3,000. These companies were A star companies at Angie's list! I could not believe this! Can't I have a one decent contractor in the New
City? A contractor that I can trust!, I can leave my keys, and make sure that they will do a good job even if I am not here!
Then I met with
and his team... First time when they came, they carry some furniture to basement for me... I did not even tell them I would hire them... Through out the project, they DID So many things without asking any extra money. Every thing they did was extremely good quality... I would be able to tell because I could see the other contractors work in the apartment... They did the downstairs bathroom in 10 days...
kitchen did upstairs bathroom in 3 months, they are both same size bathrooms. Tiles that
kitched did was cracked, uneven, the faucet was leaking, the job for the bathroom that
and his team did was A+ quality... They had to fix everything the other contractor did...
I live in a small co-op, where they hate remodeling... They complain every single time they have a
renovation was not only dealing with other contractor's mess but also needy neighbors's request. They were calling him in the middle of night for something he is not responsible for... He managed all of these things PERFECTLY...
He was always available.
I have so many people asked his number after they see my place...
I had to build central AC to my appartment, the guy who put AC (ameritec), was extremely pleased with the quality of work that was done in the apartments , he started hiring
renovation, if his clients asks for remodelers...
SHOULD STOP HERE! YOU CAN NOT FIND ANY ONE BETTER FOR THIS COMPANY. I tried sooo many before, my only regret during this renovation was meeting with this team late...
Thank you again, for the great job!

Cabinet Refacing reviews in New York

This company had done work for some of my friends and had done a quality job. So, I hired them to repaint my kitchen cabinets and our hall/guest bath cabinets. We planned to have the job done while were were out of town since my young son has asthma. I clearly showed the owner which bathroom we wanted to have redone. When we returned, the house was FREEZING cold. The workers had turned down the A/C to 70 degrees when it was 115+ outside in the Arizona heat. They had lowered the thermostat and left it that way while we were gone for 2.5 weeks! Needless to say, our bill was $400 dollars MORE than our typical summer bill. That said, they did a beautiful job painting the kitchen cabinets. It was so good that it looked almost as if they were brand new. Though they did not do a thorough job of making sure all of the drawer faces were attached on tightly and I had to hire another handyman to come out to reattach them. Secondly, they painted an ADDITIONAL bathroom's cabinets..... inside a bedroom that I had closed off and never even showed to the owner. That bathroom was inside a bedroom and it ruined the entire decor of the bedroom. I spoke with the owner to tell him about the a/c and the bathroom being painted when we didn't ask for it to be. He assured me he would make up for it by reimbursing me some money for the a/c and repaint the bathroom to whatever color we wanted. I told him I would call him when I figured out a color and received my electric bill. I made the big mistake of paying him for the job (in full) before settling up on the 2 things. He seemed so sincere and trustworthy that I was not worried. I took some time to get back to him because I was very busy with life and couldn't deal with it all right away. Then, I called him at total of 7 times and left messages (over the course of 3 months) with NO returned call. I even left a message telling him that I had a friend who was interested in their service because the quality was so good and to PLEASE call me to settle up, but he still did NOT return my call.If you decide to use this company because their work is very good and low priced, be sure that you do not pay them until you are 100% satisfied with their work. Also, do not leave his workers completely unattended like I did. They may be good at painting cabinets but they are NOT trustworthy.

Overall, the job was of a very high quality and reflects the toil and taxation (pun intended) of the contractor and owner. Much thought and care was poured into each and every detail of this renovation, from sconce to shutter screw. Project began with a consultation and estimate and took roughly four months to complete, sensible for the scale of work. One early regret was not having ironed out each and every minute detail (fixtures, products, etc.) at the very beginning of the project. This delayed some things and occasionally caused

between owner and contractor. Perhaps the contractor's biggest asset besides his experience is that he works on one job at a time; he focused completely on my project, unlike most contractors of today. The job progressed relatively smoothly with the few usual snags of such a large scale (of an ironically small space) renovation. All issues were resolved in the end and the result is truly magnificent. A few things that said contractor could have improved upon were flexibility on design/product selection (which in the end, he was, but sometimes discussions prolonged the project) and a better scheduled/stricter payment plan as part of the contract. As previously mentioned, a full agreement on product/design selection from the beginning would have benefited both parties as resolving these issues during the process extended the completion date and often added unforeseen costs. In sum, I would reiterate the words "truly magnificent," though even this phrase cannot begin to describe the

of the completed space. The contractor's ideas and experience with old brownstones coupled with the owner's creativity created a singular place in Manhattan that is beyond simply a living is an organic environment that resurrects the age upon which its design is based and, right down to each and every carefully chosen doorknob, showcases the owner and contractor's hard work, dedication, inspiration, and most of all: vision.

They were great. This was a small, but tricky job, that required considerable carpentry skill and creative thinking.

came up with a perfect solution, and he and his assistant did a first-rate job installing new doors and drawers in our kitchen. He also gave me some helpful advice and pointers for some other projects around the house. It cost a little more than we had hoped to pay, but after seeing the results, we are very happy that we hired such an outstanding professional for this job, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others.

It began well enough but Mr.
New York Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
disappeared before the job was complete. The work he did was of poor quality; he somehow damaged my plumbing so I now have no cold water at all in the adjacent bathroom and very low water pressure in the kitchen sink. He installed the wrong granite countertop (should have been "bull nose") and it cannot be repaired without removing the entire piece. He did not complete the installation, left me with a hole in my wall and missing backsplash and unfinished cabinet doors. His "work" will now cost me an extra $1000+ as I need to hire a plumber and carpenter.

Natural stone flooring was installed over existing ceramic tile instead of removing ceramic tile as was called for in the contract. Cabinet re-facing was slipshod. Many flaws in installation of all aspects of the job. Very sloppy job.

After we agreed to the price and gave him $1000 it took 18 months to complete the job. We called Trapatsas literally hundreds of times (mostly unreturned) and went to his shop many, many times as well. We reported him to the 311 number in NYC and submitted reports to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs relating to his non performance and were told that he had not obtained a license for the business. After receiving a letter from the complaint office he finally completed the job.

Everyone I spoke with, especially,

, were very friendly. When I called for an estimate,

responded right away. Two painters would only quote by phone so I appreciated

seeing the job. I decided not to hire anyone who couldn't be bothered to see the cabinets.
While I did have to call
New York Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
for the estimate, once I did he emailed it right away. Precision was not the cheapest estimate but
New York Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
sold me on his professionalism. He made recommendations that I appreciated and trusted. One painter had me call the cabinet makers and ask questions which annoyed the cabinet makers. I appreciated the fact that
New York Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was clearly knowledgeable.
The first day the workers showed up early. That never happens in NYC. They were professional and worked all day with a short lunch break. I met Arial, who was in charge, and I liked him too. The first day the painters covered everything, including the crib and hardwood floors, didn't get paint on anything, etc...
The second, and last day, it was just one painter. I was not as happy in the end, with the painter, but I was happy with the work, price, and overall professionalism of the company. When I expressed my concerns about the 2nd painter,
New York Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was very responsive and apologetic.
The room itself looks beautiful. Thanks. I will hire your company again, in a year or so when we paint the rest of the apartment.
As a person who has dealt with contractors on a gut renovation, I know that most workers don't show up on time, have no idea what they are doing, and don't finish. It was nice to find a company that followed through on what they said they would do.
Thank you.

staff are a wonderful group. Will,

made up the main team and additional workers were sent to me as needed. They were neat, polite and hard working. They did a wonderful job painting! They are very eager to please and were happy to fix any and all little inconsistencies that always occur in any paint job. In particular, my dining room was painted in in two different colors above and below the chair rail and a third color for the rail and the trim. When the room was was completely finished, I decided that I didn't like one of the colors and they graciously, without complaint, repainted the entire lower portion of my very large dining room. They were very careful in their painting and gave extra attention to problem areas that I did even notice before they came! Painting one's apartment is very disruptive, but

team did their best to make it as pleasant as they could under the circumstances. They prepared the apartment well in terms of covering furniture, rolling up rugs, and putting up plastic over the doorways. I was thrilled that
