It appears that
I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to have a studio apartment worked on for at least 6 months and you have to get your attorney involved.
I did not shop around so I cannot say if I could have done better on price. The quality is top notch. I was not in a hurry but they were ready in the time they promised.
The only thing is that they do not do the painting. They suggest two guys. I didn't realize that the painting is a specialty. You can't use a regular painter, he has to be particular to this type of work. That was an additional cost, $1000 for the smaller unit and $1500 for the larger.I have not done this part yet.
During our complete apartment renovation we used three different companies for millwork. amount of headache or hassle.
Their wall unit sits center stage in our family room and is absolutely gorgeous. The wood finish is perfect, the hinges, drawers, doors and shelves all glide perfectly and have maintained their adjustment for over a year now.
When they came to install the unit, my building started to give them some hassle about using the service elevator. Rather than getting into it, they said no problem, we'll use the stairs (I live on the 4th floor). Fortunately, the doorman capitulated, but

They said that the lacquer needed to dry so the fumes would dissipate. The same thing happened with our banquette. An interminable wait. A bit frustrating, but in the end, well worth it.
As part of our first meeting, end of the first meeting, I had a reasonable verbal quote and was able to meet the guys that would be working on my apartment. I didn’t move in to the apartment until the renovations were complete. Throughout the process, "
A lot of factors contributed to the difficulty of this project: the fact that I am in another city much of the time; the timing, with the project starting just before the holidays; my building's very strict work schedule and hands-on management of contractors; poor-quality work done by previous owners, much of which was not revealed until work for this project began; and a family emergency that required me to be out of commission for a significant length of time during the height of the project. But
After the previous resident moved out, the apartment looked so bad (peeling paint, cracks in the plaster, very worn-looking wood floor, dubious
At the end of the project, rather than rushing to get on to the next job, "
