"Note description above. I had to wait for 10 days or more to get service. When came, he was efficient, helpful and got my dryer working without fuss. He could have told me nothing could be done and then sold me a new dryer and washer but he didn't. I really appreciated that. I paid his minimum fee and then joined his Appliance Repair plan for $50 more. A very good deal and he gives priority to calls from plan members. This was a pleasure, given the tendency in my area for repair people to do bad work and charge a lot."

"I was very pleased with from beginning to end. The scheduling and part ordering went smoothly. The scheduled repair visit was punctual and , who did the work, was terrific. Careful, thorough and willing and able to answer some questions I had about my new appliance. I hope I won't need to repair my wonderful range, but if I do, I will happily call . They know their stuff."

"I measured window top to bottom opening incorrectly! (don't assume the size of the glass is equal to the minimum opening dimensions). He made the window larger.
I couldn't figure out which window AC support to purchase, he purchased the right one himself and installed it at no extra charge.
My old one was removed and carted. No mess. No hassels. Always there for me, even days before via phone and emails to answer Qs.
My place is tiny and cramped, there wasn't even room to open the box the unit came in so he had to use exterior hallway just to get it out of its box.
Even less space is in front of my window. He and assistant fit themselves into 2ft space to work side by side to complete all the screwing and window modification tasks, quietly and without even sweating!
and helper are neat clean punctual, knowledgeable and OUTSTANDING in every way.
I even have him coming back for the dangest reason ever.
If you live in an apt bldg, units above your AC will drip water in TORRENTS down on your unit. Well my old AC was plastic and that sound was no bother. The new unit is all metal and the sound of water pouring onto it, is no romantic pitter on a tin roof . It is instead a keep you awake all night long Calypso drum banging that's horrible!
They are going to try to apply solid foam (or something) above the AC so that water hits a non noise making surface instead of CLANGING on and down into my air conditioner.
One more hassle of high rise living you may or may not know of to keep in mind if you are considering moving from a private home to a multi unit dwelling. (running AC when it isn't even hot is the main cause of this).
In any case I told Eleazar and he offered to rush to help me.
Didn't say how stupid or weird a thing this is, nope not at all, without even concern for payment he offered to come right away and figure out a way for me to get some sleep (and that incl moving furniture for me this time).
I hope to leave NYC in months but I'd actually rather not all because of this firm!
He didn't ask but 20-30% tip is easily deserved by this team."

"There were 2 vacuum cleaners and one of them was a collector's item because it was 40 years old. Neither was working. They cleaned them and I don't know precisely what it was they did, but they did an excellent job. They were first rate. Then I found out that they do a lot of other things besides, so I had them restore an old floor lamp again about 40 years old and a table lamp that was probably more than 50 years old. They got my Cuisinart which I bought in the 80s going and working perfectly. They are excellent and they really know what they are doing. Not only did they do a good job but they are lovely people to deal with. I don't know about their price because I have no way of comparing prices. The quality of work was the best because the appliances are working beautifully and as I said they are old. I have used them again and I am about to have them check out my air conditioners."

"Theses guys were great. I called them the day before Thanksgiving after another company failed to fix my oven (and told me a further and more costly repair would be necessary). The technician worked systematically to diagnose the problem and did not leave until he tested the oven pilot numerous times to make sure it was working properly. I would not hesitate to call them again."

"They did an OK job. They did do quality work but they were a little slow with fixing the . They were easy to work with and the price was a little on the high end. I would recommend them to others."

"We moved into an apartment that needed renovation. My wife and I chose because of his Angie's List rating, telephone conversations with previous clients and a reasonable price. My building required city permits for both plumbing and electrical work as well as approval from the building management company. Although it took some effort to get the approval, and his contractors had a positive attitude and ultimately helped us get approved. 's crew basically redid our kitchen other than preserving a few cabinets. They did a great job. They removed our flooring and appliances, waterproofed the floor, leveled the floor, installed new tile and made the floor look great! Then they moved onto the cabinetry. The cabinetry required changes to accommodate new appliances. They did good woodwork, and when changes had to be made that were minor, they were accommodating and didn't try to nickle and dime me on cost. Next, they installed new appliances and hooked them up. My wife and I are very happy with the kitchen now thanks to 's crew's good work. In addition, they installed a new wall to make one room become two rooms. They installed the wall quickly and did a thoughtful job in rebuilding the moldings. Then, they replaced tiling in our bathroom and did a great job on that project as well. Lastly, they helped us replace a medicine cabinet and removed old fixtures from a closet. Throughout the project, replied quickly to my emails, was friendly and professional. I'm very happy I gave a call and RECOMMEND HIM!"

"We arrived at our friends' house who were away for the summer. We plugged in the refrigerator which seemed to work (light went on, fan made noises). We bought all kinds of food to stock up only to realize it was not cooling. We called another company's number that was inside the fridge. The earliest they could come was a week and a half later. the next day a neighbor recommended and we were able to reach him even though it was Sunday. Monday morning he came to look at it, ordered a part and had it working again by Thursday evening, the day the part arrived. The only slight disappointment was that he had estimated the cost of part and labor a bit low so it was not $150 but $180 we had to pay. He was charming and good looking into the bargain."
