Siding Reviews in New Orleans

We got four estimates for the work we needed to be done.
's representative,
, was extremely respectful and knowledgeable. He provided clear and concise answers to all
our questions without being pushy or arrogant.
Other roofing representatives were not a professional as
and they acted
as though they were doing us a favor by hiring them to do the work.
’s price was nearly
30% less than the nearest competitor. At first the low price did bother us. We were very wary of additional problems that their
estimate did not cover and would “need to be fixed” along with the additional
’s assurances and
confidence in their inspection and proposal did ease our concerns. We decided to go with
instead of any
of the other three proposals.
started the work on time with a crew that was conscientious, knew what they were doing and knew what
needed to be done next to ensure a smooth flow of work. There was supervision on site nearly the entire time, and even though there were a few rain delays, they finished very near the original proposal completion date.
To our delight, the final cost was not more than the original proposal. It was actually a little less due to savings in material used.
My wife and I were impressed with
’s professionalism, quality of work, and the clean-up afterwards.
I would definitely recommend
for any exterior home repairs.

It went well. They advised me to put siding on an attached shed rather than painting it, and that was good advice. Workers were here promptly at 7:00 and worked the whole day with just a few short breaks. Quality of work was good. Siding on the ceiling of the carport was not installed in a pleasing manner, so they took it all down and re-installed it according to the directions that
(owner) gave them. It now looks very nice. Painters and siding installers were all very accommodating and professional. Price was fair, though not the very lowest, but I chose them because they seemed to show more interest in doing the job than did the others. They were sometimes a little bit difficult to reach if I needed to talk to them and they did not start as soon as I had expected, but it did not matter too much because the work was not critical.

I was extremely pleased with the job that
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
did. The old door and window had not been used for many years and were in an area that had suffered a lot of termite damage in the past. The
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
crew was able to remove all of the old termite damaged materials as well as the door and window. They reconstructed the wall and replaced and repaired the exterior siding in such a manner that the rather large patch in the outer wall is undetectable from the outside. The job actually turned out much better that I was expecting it could. The crew performing the work were professional in appearance and conduct. They did the work quickly and removed all of their materials and waste afterward. I would hire

Initially, they said that they were going to be able to do everything I needed plus a roof upgrade and that I would not have to pay a deductible. This was also told to me by another company I received an estimate from.

He took the interior work, which was already done, and the gutter replacement, which was not necessary, against my deductible....More />
The estimate he gave me was much higher than what my insurance company wanted to pay, and he told me not to worry about it and he would get them to increase the amount. He said they hadn't included money for a lot of the damage which was done by the storm.

He began the work on the roof. After starting the work, he came to me with a contract stating that prior to any work being done he would contact the insurance company to negotiate the amount to be paid. This didn't make sense to me because he had already started the work. He told me he needed money from me for the work he had done, and I refused since we had not yet signed a contract and I wanted to make sure my insurance company would accept the cost.

He spoke with my insurance company and they had rough negotiations. The insurance company raised the amount of money to meet his recommendations. I thought everything was going great. After he completed the work, the insurance company came out and inspected his work before releasing the first payment. I signed the first payment, $4000, over to him. The inspector wanted the gutters to be replaced, so I verified with him before allowing him to do the gutters that I would not have to pay any more money or the deductible. He told me "Yes."

I signed the second payment over to him. Prior to giving final payment he needs to finish all of the work. When he finishes it, then the insurance company will release the final check. He is now telling me he needs more money and I need to pay him more. He is asking me to pay the $2500 deductible. I told him no way, he confirmed with me twice that I would not have to pay it. He said his company would pay $1000 towards it if I could pay the rest. He presented me with paperwork that I would pay the $1500 within 3 months at a 12% interest rate. I declined.

Now, he is threatening to put a lean on my house because I can't pay him the money he told me twice I didn't need to pay. He is also stating he will not finish the work.

We decided to hire
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
for the work we were seeking based on their estimate which was very competitive.
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
, who came to do the estimate, was prompt and thorough and it was clear he knew the business very well. It took a little time to get on the schedule, but our deadline for having the work complete was March 1st, so it was not a problem (and they have since completed the work well in advance of our deadline). The crews who came to the house were prompt and hardworking. We had a few communication issues that came up when transitioning from the construction work to the painters and about exactly what painting was to be completed, but once notified,
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
got a crew back to our house ASAP to finish the work. We are very happy with the results and plan to use
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
for work we will complete later this year.

His work was absolutely first rate and we have been not only repeat clients; we no longer seeks the services of any contractor for both large and small jobs. He is punctual, professional, and very skilled. His prices are extremely reasonable. On occasion when we do competitive bidding, he invariably comes in with the fairest price.

I had a positive experience. I had not seen good reviews of the company on Angie's List, but the salesman assured me that their product was good and their service would be good. All of that indeed was. Their price was competitive with that of the others. Their product and warranty is good. They did the job in less than a week. We did all of the contracts by computer and by fax. I came out a couple of times just to check out the work. They were timely. They worked very well with a neighbor of mine. The work included going to my neighbor’s backyard and disassembling a fence of theirs. They managed to do it with finesse. They did all of this within five or six days, which was great. The other good part is that a couple of items that I wasn't pleased with which happened to be, for example, a light switch that they could've done better they immediately fixed to my satisfaction. The only negative which was not such a big deal is that they were a bit messy as the process was going along, but they cleaned up well. They did a very good job and they did it quickly. It looks terrific. I think it was good value for the price.

We have a Queen
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
house uptown which had not painted in a long time. We were delighted to meet Mr. Kannish of
New Orleans Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
who was the contractor. Mr. Kannish was knowledgeable, passionate and extremely dedicated. He guided us through the process of painting, describing the properties of paint and which he would use in different areas of our house. He also pointed out architectural details and ways to make them prominent. He was always on site with his crew and available to answer any questions and also to discuss new ideas that he envisioned during the course of the work. His enthusiasm was shared by his crew who were very hardworking with no

in energy. They were determined to do the best job possible and were flexible so that they could meet any demands of the job. In our case, our next door neighbor had left town and rented his house out to a film crew who worked at night which made accessibility to that side of the house a challenge given our close proximity and their need for privacy. The painters were diligent in being as quiet as possible not to disturb the tenants next door--working with no radios and not speaking loudly. They also adjusted the work schedule to accommodate accessibility schedules given by the tenants. Our painters were pretty amazing and we were very grateful for their wonderful work. Mr. Kannish provided everything in the contract and more!
